Located in the heart of downtown Newport, Headquarters Wedding & Event Venue is a historic, boutique wedding venue designed for couples who want a beautiful celebration without the high price tag and emptiness of a massive wedding hall.
Originally built as a hardware store in 1870, Headquarters has been thoughtfully restored by owners Mike and Lindsey, preserving its historic character while adding the modern venue amenities couples need today.
Being only 2 minutes from Downtown Cincinnati, Headquarters puts you in the middle of everything! Hotels, restaurants, bars, entertainment and more are all within walking distance, making it easy for you and your guests to enjoy the entire wedding weekend without having to drive from one location to another.
Free public parking is available directly across the street, along with ample street parking.
With space for up to 100 guests, Headquarters is ideal for intimate weddings where the couple and their guests are at the center of the celebration. The main floor features multiple connected spaces that naturally flow from ceremony to cocktail hour, to dinner and dancing.
The venue features exposed brick, original hardwood floors and large windows that create a distinctive historic-industrial setting filled with tons of natural light.
All wedding packages include full day venue access and use of our private bridal suite loft, giving the wedding party a comfortable place to get ready all day before the celebration begins.
Headquarters is also designed to make planning easier. Tables, chairs, linens, cocktail tables, lounge furniture, centerpieces, ceremony decor, greenery wall, lighting, sound equipment, projectors, coolers and ice are all included as part of the venue, helping couples create a beautiful wedding without having to rent and coordinate every detail separately.
We allow couples to bring in their own alcohol, and outside caterers and vendors are welcome, giving you the flexibility to build your wedding your way. In addition to wedding ceremonies and receptions, Headquarters is available for rehearsal dinners, wedding showers, engagement parties and other celebrations.
Since opening in 2018, Headquarters has hosted over 1000 milestone celebrations for couples looking for something a little different: a historic Cincinnati-area setting, a convenient downtown location, and an intimate space where every guest feels like part of the celebration.

The bridal suite upstairs was beautiful, with tons of natural light and plenty of room for everyone to get ready comfortably. Having a full kitchen in the getting-ready area was a great bonus! We loved how easily the ceremony space could be transformed into the reception and dance floor, making the entire day flow seamlessly.
And we have to give a huge shoutout to the owner, Mike. He truly goes above and beyond! He was incredibly responsive, helpful, and so easy to work with throughout the entire planning process.
We truly couldn’t have picked a better venue and would highly recommend Headquarters Wedding & Event Venue to anyone looking for a beautiful, unique, and accommodating space for their special day!

g, to the exposed brick, and the wood floors. Having both the ceremony and reception in the same building was incredibly convenient, and there was plenty of space upstairs to get ready. They provide so many furnishings and amenities that you almost don't need to bring any additional decor including a bar, a large antique wooden table to stage things in the front, vases and tea lights, sting lights in the dining area, a wooden arch, a rug to stage the ceremony, coolers, tablecloths (if you want them, but honestly the dining tables look excellent without), neon signs, projectors, I'm sure there's so much I'm forgetting. There's also AC which kept things nice and cool in the August heat. Plus, it's so close to so many hotels and downtown bars/attractions if guests have some spare time and want to explore either Newport or Cincinnati. Mike was fantastic at communicating and answering any of our questions, and Emma was there the day of the wedding and made things run so smoothly, she really kept everything in line with setting up and breaking down, we could not have done it without her. This venue is absolutely fantastic and it's such a great price, I'm so glad we were able to book our wedding here. We had about 70 people altogether and it was a perfect fit, but there's definitely room for more and they have helpful diagrams on their page to see what setup works best for your party.

Mike answered all our questions and was very responsive to emails and messages whenever we reached out. Emma was the staff person onsite the day of the wedding and she was extremely helpful and made the transition from wedding space to dining and dance floor quickly and seamlessly.
The upstairs space, complete with a full kitchen and bath, was perfect and gave our wedding party plenty of space to relax and get ready. The natural light upstairs was perfect for capturing wonderful photos as we prepared for our big day.
Headquarters stood out for us not only because the space was beautiful, with exposed brick and hardwood floors, but because it was a tremendous value and among the most reasonably priced in the greater Cincinnati area. The price included table linens and the use of projectors, microphones, and sound system, which were things other venues we researched did not include in their base price. Mike also recommended catering and cake vendors that were terrific to work with. We would highly recommend Headquarters for any occasion!

Mike (owner) was amazing to work with! He responded to email inquiries quickly. Headquarters offers a lot of value for your money! My husband and I looked at dozens of venues online and toured five in person. We ultimately choose Headquarters because of being able to choose your own caterer and being allowed to bring in your own alcohol. That choice alone could safe thousands. In addition, the cost includes almost everything you need in the price: linens, decorations, and catering equipment. There is also a day of event coordinator assigned on-site to let vendors in and be on standby. The location will also wow your guests nestled in historic Newport. Parking is also convenient with two free parking lots across the street.

We had roughly 80 people in the space and it did not feel cramped at any point of the night. We were able to seat all of our guests comfortably for dinner and dance the night away with room to move around! The only unusual part was a lot of moving of furniture but as the bride and groom, we never noticed any of it happening as Mike and our wedding planner were working so well together. We had two big movements throughout the night. The first was moving chairs to the dinner table following the ceremony and moving tables to the front room as well. The second was breaking the tables down in the front room and moving a couch back into that space to open the dance floor. It was such a seamless transition. The space also allowed for great pictures! The exposed brick is beautiful, the rustic furniture fit our theme well, and there was also plenty of room for our guests to step aside and take pictures of their own. We would absolutely recommend this venue to anyone hosting a <100 guest wedding!

, catering was able to setup with no issues, opening the doors for the event and people to arrive no issues, the furniture was comfortable and in the perfect places, used the crates for gifts, Mike helped with cleanup at the end and with putting the boxes in the back after setup, everyone loved the parking, we had coolers for the waters and a cooler full of ice, hand sanitizer everywhere, the DJ was able to setup easily... I can go on and on, BOOK IT! The pricing is super reasonable too.

The venue itself is a true gem. It’s rustic, historic, and has so much charm. It was everything that we wanted. We knew it was the venue when we walked in for our initial viewing. All of our guests were amazed at how beautiful the building was.
When we found out the price for our ceremony and reception, we were in shock because of how reasonably priced it is for how beautiful the building is. You won’t be able to find that kind of charm for a better price.
