und that was semi-local (2.5 hours away from Philadelphia) and was knowledgeable about antique wedding pieces. When I reached out, she was very responsive and quickly setup a consultation call to discuss my wishes. Upon sending pictures, she immediately knew what kind of material my crown was made of and had a vision about how it could be re-designed. I met her in her studio, and she was so sweet and had extensive knowledge about wedding pieces of the time. She was so diligent about how to re-image my heirloom and it turned out beautifully. She also made me a custom veil which matched my dress. My crown was made into hairpins with added pearls and crystals that matched my aesthetic while remaining true to the original design of the wax flowers. She was also able to retain most of the crown, so it can remain in its original form. Marie is very passionate about her work and it shows in her craftsmanship and attention to detail. I am very pleased with the way my pieces turned out, and I can even wear them as hairpins for other special occasions. Overall, a really great way to have "something old" while maintaining the beauty and originality of a family piece.

process and providing example pieces to help with visualizing my final piece. We worked together to decide on the fine details of the final outcome. Marie is attentive, caring, and incredibly creative. Marie reconstructed my headpiece into three separate pieces so that I can easily rewear my headpiece without needing to wear the entire piece all together. Now I have an accessory that I can continue to wear from my wedding to other events. I highly recommend working with Marie for your wedding accessories as she is truly the subject expert in vintage restyling.

modern day piece. I wanted a mixture of modern/vintage and Marie achieved that in my headpiece. She is very passionate in what she does and is friendly and professional. Thank you Marie for restoring parts of my moms headpiece and creating such a special piece that I hope to pass down one day. It truly made my wedding day so special!

ly listened to my preferences and was able to formulate what I was looking for exactly. She artfully transformed (created, actually, as she deconstructed it and then re-formed it) the tiara into a beautiful one tier piece, took the time to clean it meticulously...I just could not have been more pleased with the craftsmanship and the creativity. Her gorgeous work meant so much to my mother and I, and thanks to her we gave 2 heirloom pieces that I hope I can pass down one day. I also purchased my Cathedral veil from Headpiece.com, and couldn't have been more pleased with that as well.

tail, and personalized touches made the experience seamless and enjoyable. The exquisite craftsmanship, timely delivery, and commitment to customer satisfaction made our special day even more memorable. Highly recommend for brides seeking a unique, elegant touch to their wedding ensemble.

s the most unique and special out there. She was able to make me a headpiece and earrings out of real seaglass, cracked shell, and fresh water pearl for my beach wedding. Plus, she communicated and involved me every part of the way to ensure everything was perfect. I highly recommend Headpiece.com!!!

by my great-grandmother and worn by all of my aunts. When I got married, my mom was excited for me to use it, but it needed a transformation to suit my style. Marie's creativity and expertise were truly remarkable. She not only redesigned the headpiece to match my very vague vision but also preserved the essence of my mother's original piece while adding a modern twist. This involved disassembling it into smaller components and meticulously cleaning the pearls and crystals that had accumulated years of hairspray damage. I was amazed to see the headpiece sparkle like new. Marie even reconstructed my veil by disassembling the comb and creating multiple smaller attachment points so the veil would cascade seamlessly under the headpiece. What touched me even more was the last-minute request I made for a surprise gift for my mom. Marie effortlessly crafted the most adorable pins for my mom's hair. Her dedication and attention to detail were evident in every aspect of her work. Marie's excellent communication, enthusiasm, and passion for her craft made the entire experience such a joy. I couldn't be more grateful for the special touch she added to this sentimental family heirloom and it will be cherished for many more years thanks to Marie. Thank you, Marie, for making my wedding day even more special!

her daughters, she is one of the most talented people I have ever met. Marie redesigned my mother's vintage 1990s headpiece and transformed it into the most beautiful heirloom. I also worked with her in picking my veil. My veil was one of my favorite things on my wedding day - it flew in the wind and was truly magical.

d what I was looking for her to create. When I described what I wanted, she had some suggestions as to what she would make, and wanted to ensure that all of my favorite elements of my Mom’s piece remained prominent in the pins. I put all of my faith into Marie - you can tell by her passion, the beautiful pieces she has displayed in her shop, and all of her reviews that she makes the most wonderful bridal accessories. I am over the moon with how my pieces turned out, and they were the perfect complement for my wedding look. Thank you Marie for restoring my Mom’s headpiece and turning it into cherished pieces that I hope to pass down some day. It was so special to wear a piece of my parent’s wedding at my own.

dding due to health concerns, which was pretty devastating for all of us. To make us all feel better, we decided to schedule a post-wedding photo shoot with them to recreate some of the moments we would have gotten together on our wedding day. It took quite a while to schedule this shoot, but we finally settled on April 20, 2023 as the date! As we started to prepare for the shoot, I realized that my veil was in an empty house across the country from where I live (long story!), and I had no way to get it before the shoot. I spent a few days considering my options - not wearing a veil, buying something cheap and local, etc. - and ultimately decided I didn't want to wear any other veil than what Marie had designed for my wedding day. Since the actual original veil wasn't an option, I reached out and asked if there was any way she could make me a duplicate. She responded incredibly quickly, with such a lovely and accommodating message, and said she would absolutely do it. She made and shipped it within days, packaged it with delicate care, and left thorough instructions about what to do with it when I received it. The entire process was truly a pleasure! If I ever had the opportunity to work with her again, I would take it without question. She is a wonderful professional, a skilled artist, and a kind person. Hire her for your wedding headpiece needs! You won't be disappointed.

years later, and it was time for my big day! Marie had gone above and beyond to create the most beautiful veil, headpiece, earrings, and pins for me. It meant so much to me that she took the time to make sure the veil matched my dress exactly, was the perfect length, and I love how the light weight of it allowed to it fly so beautifully. Due to how my hair falls, I asked Marie to add a few diamonds in my headpiece. Not only did she add them in the areas I asked for, but even added extra where she thought would suit me best. To match the headpiece, she made my gorgeous earrings, and surprised me with matching pins that my mother and sister could wear. Her thinking of an extra way for us to connect on my wedding day meant so much to me. Overall, I would give Headpiece.com 100 stars if I could! Marie truly loves what she does, cares about her brides, and it shows! Her work is nothing short of perfection.

etc. and never felt rushed as I decided on what fabric and design complemented my dress best with Marie's help. The fabric I chose has just the right shimmer, clear as glass, and the way the veil lays, it doesn't take away from the details of the dress. When it was time to pick up the finished products, my finace came by and I anticipated it would be a drop in appt. However, I was blown away by the time Marie spent to let me try on the veil, thoroughly explained how and where to position so it looks best and how to care for the veil before the wedding, during and after. I am very excited to put on the dress with the veil and blusher next weekend and share pictures with Marie from our special day. PS - rumor has it that she's working on some jewelry pieces....and they're beautiful! This was truly a highlight of wedding planning and would do it all over again! Thank you, Marie, for an excellent experience creating such a beautiful custom veil and blusher!

air pins that would match my headpiece and they came out perfect! In addition to her headpieces, her veils are are the most beautiful shape and the softest around. If you are thinking about working with her DO IT.. I’m so happy I did. Her one-of-a-kind pieces made my bridal look!

y and fun! Marie turned my moms vintage headpiece into a modern work of art. It would have been hard to trust a family heirloom with most people, but after a few phone call consultations Marie felt like a friend/family member. The headpiece she created for my wedding day was stunning and made my look so glamorous. I got so many compliments on it, and I cannot recommend her enough!

uture sister-in-law. Our first appointment was through FaceTime, which was great since I don't live in the area! Talking to Marie on Facetime was easy and comfortable; I felt an instant connection with Marie. She is truly an expert in designing headpieces, and I always trusted her during the design process. She is passionate and patient, with great attention to detail. She went above and beyond, and I would recommend her to any bride who is looking for a stunning headpiece for their big day!

r and I walked through her door we knew that we had come to the right place. Her quaint and nostalgic shop made us feel right at home. And her passion for her work was evident throughout. At our first appointment we began discussing ideas and what my daughter had envisioned for a veil and Marie immediately knew precisely what she wanted. Having the dress in hand also made it that much easier as she was able to study the gown and create a veil that complimented the gown perfectly. And the end result was the most incredibly unique and beautifully elegant 140" veil which consisted of Marie's own French lace along with extra lace from my daughters gown. The materials that Marie uses are of the highest quality and so delicate and light that if you are lucky to have a slightly windy day like we did your veil might just fly on its own and make for amazing pictures. Marie really outdid herself and went above and beyond to make my daughter's vision come to life. To say that my daughter was extremely happy is an understatement. Marie was such a pleasure to work with and is beyond talented. Not only was she personable and warm but treated us as if we were family. She was always available for questions as busy as she was and always professional and attentive. Her passion for her work shines through in everything she does. If you are looking for a one of a kind creation then look no further than Headpiece.com. I highly recommend Marie and look forward to working with her again in the future. Thank you so much Marie. crushed at some point, lost beads, and browned. Marie remedied all of these issues, returning the crown to a like-new state, without losing any of its vintage feel. She also restructured it so that it now has a wired, instead of brittle plastic, base and so I am confident it will last for decades more. Marie is clearly incredibly knowledgeable and completely enjoyable and easy to work with. I’m so glad I found her.

ng girl, whether it was school concerts, Halloween and Musical costumes, photoshoots, special events, and even my World fitness modeling competitions the past 3 years. I trust her above anyone to create something spectacular and of pristine quality. It was only natural that for my wedding day, I had complete trust in her to create something out of this world and unique to me. Aside from my white wedding dress, everything about my wedding experience was non-traditional. A little about the “wedding:” We had 13 guests - just parents, siblings, and grandma. We surprised our families with every detail of our intimate wedding weekend in Southern California. From the Airbnb we stayed at in Hollywood Hills, to our wedding destination on a 87’ luxury yacht in Newport Beach. Even in the limo rides to our location, our guests had no idea where we were going! :) But more about the designs: I told Marie I didn’t want a veil. And of course, she had a better idea! “What if we created the illusion of a veil but it wasn’t a veil sitting on your head? Let’s attach it to the dress! Let’s saturate the hair with gorgeous pins”, and because my dress was so simple, she designed elegant arm jewelry to accent the simplicity of my gown. It added so much beauty to my unique, non traditional wedding look. But amongst all the excitement, adventure and surprise, there was one constant. My mother making sure that her daughter (and last one to be married) had the most beautiful designs and accessories, made by her own two hands, on her special weekend. With me living in California and Headpiece.com located in New Jersey, Marie and I worked on designs, fittings, and details through FaceTime meetings. The process felt seamless and stress-free. Marie is an amazing communicator and wants to make sure your masterpiece is everything that you want. From her creativity of design, the materials used (including hand-painted Italian lace and fresh water pearl to name a few!), the time invested, the vision illustrated, and the love dedicated… I feel not only like the luckiest bride in the world, but also the luckiest daughter, too. I never fail to let my mother know how grateful I am for her and all she pours in to whom and what she loves. For 23+ years I’ve witnessed her make her dream of Headpiece.com a reality, become a successful entrepreneur, use her own two hands to create beautiful accessories for women around the world, and help thousands of brides feel elegant and timeless on their big day. If you ever have the opportunity to wear or own something made by Marie Hunt, consider yourself one lucky woman ♥️ there is no one else like her. Ps. I learned a big lesson in my wedding experience that I’d love to share to future brides. Do what makes you happy. A wedding is meant to celebrate the love of you and yours and the new chapter you are about to embark on together. The process of planning your amazing wedding does not have to be stressful and chaotic. Take it one step at a time, ask for help, dream with your partner, and have fun with it. Make it what you want, regardless of what others expect of you. It’s your special day. Remember that. Doing our wedding “our way” was the best way to do it! 10/10 recommend following your heart and 11/10 recommend going to Headpiece.com.

d personable. She is truly an artist and takes tremendous pride in her creations. She also personalizes each bridal experience. For example, since my daughter's wedding occurred during a full moon, she recommended a moonlight photo shot wearing the veil, which was incredibly beautiful! I would highly recommend Marie Hunt. And she is worth the trip if you do not live nearby.

pieces. She gave her honest opinion for what looks best and to make me unique from others, which I appreciated. Everything she makes is custom made! She even makes custom veils which I didn't realize. She's so kind and a creative genius. Book her ASAP as she does limited orders a year.

utiful custom veil to match my dress and was able to help me figure out a way to use some of my sisters headpieces. Her work is beyond beautiful and she makes you feel loved and welcome every step of the way. So grateful for her work and helping make my dream wedding come true.

ng a hole in the veil and then reinventing the old fashioned crown into hair pins to make a more modern look. I'm very impressed with all the work and also doing the whole process virtually was so simple. We accomplished everything I wanted without me ever having to go to New Jersey. I highly recommend using headpiece.com!

e did her best to make me a piece that was perfect for my wedding! Highly recommend !!!

he so worth every penny. In times when so many vendors promise things that seldom are true. She really does work with the bride to fulfill her vision. These pieces will become family beautiful heirlooms not to mention one of a kind .

She is a perfectionist and will not provide you with anything less than her best work.

A LOT of research about restoring vintage pieces, I found Marie. I had a consultation and immediately I knew I was in good hands. She handled the veil with white glove treatment and reassured me that it would be exactly what I envisioned. And it was! I was so proud to walk down the aisle wearing such a special “old” piece. Highly recommend Marie!

nted. She is so sweet and truly amazing at what she does. Her head pieces are QUALITY and well worth the price!

. The final headpiece came out so beautiful and I now consider it an heirloom that I will pass down to my future daughter or granddaughter. The combination of Swarovski crystals and white opal made for a truly magical headpiece that made me feel like such a princess! If you truly want someone who takes pride in their work and is committed to making you feel like the most beautiful you’ve ever felt I would highly recommend working with Marie!

he items I came to her for (with an extremely busy schedule, shortened timeline, etc), she wildly exceeded my expectations and helped elevate my grandmother's dress in ways I couldn't have imagined. She has the best eye and skills to make your dreams a reality.

med overnight, she turned a bride into a princess, just like a fairy godmother. My only regret is that I can't think of another event to do the same, because the experience, the moment and our endearing new relationship is worth repeating!

til a few months before our wedding date. Marie was unsure if she would be able to squeeze me in due to the pent up demand from the first year of COVID but we had a consultation and she didn't rush the appointment and was very thorough. Luckily, we were able to work together and she was very attentive and available, even though she was so busy! She took her time and care with me and the veil and I so very much appreciated all the details she helped with! She always made the time to answer questions or get on a call with last minute needs. Yes, it can be expensive to restore a veil but it honestly costs the same amount to buy a new veil and it meant so much for my mum to put her veil in my hair. I really hope that my sisters or future daughter/daughter in law can wear this piece in the future! Thank you, Marie!

it out of my moms veil and was meticulous about every detail. I would highly recommend her!

eceived so many compliments on how stunning my hair and headpieces were! Marie was such a pleasure to work with as well. She truly treats all of her brides as if they are part of the family, and her dedication to her craft really shines through! Even with postponing my wedding due to COVID, Marie was easy to work with and available if I had any questions. If you are looking for a unique, high quality headpiece, I highly recommend Marie and Headpiece.com!

and stop was too overwhelming. I had wanted to wear my grandmothers headpiece since I was a little girl but it was WAY too big for my head and the color become yellow due to years of incorrect storing. I brought my piece to Marie a little over 2 months before my wedding and she worked her magic despite giving her zero time when weddings were back in full swing! She looked at my grandmothers piece and my mother's 1980s veil and was able to dream up a more modern piece that was more appropriate for my dress. She spotlighted the details that were beautiful about grandma's piece and added the right amount of shine to make it really stand out. Marie checked in with me along the way which took any stress out of the picture! Highly highly recommend and would trust her with any vintage piece!!

eally takes her time with you coming up with the veil you envision for your wedding day. Although my veil was much simpler then my sisters I loved her work!

d my every expectation. She was an absolute pleasure to work with and she was able to work with me and communicate so well with me even though I lived four hours away. I honestly didn't think it would be possible and I'm so grateful that I found Marie! Having this veil was made was one of the highlights of my wedding day, I don't think I can recommend her enough!

onsultation, the first headpiece Marie showed me I fell in love with. She shared a few other options, but I felt that first option really checked every box that I was looking for – sparkles, pearls, unique design, soft and fitted to my head, and a thin accent piece. Not to mention she included functional loops for the hairstylist to clip without ruining the piece. Moreover, she recommended a cathedral length veil which I absolutely loved the day of. The headpiece and veil really pulled my whole look together, not only giving me that wow-factor I was looking for, but also made me feel as special, unique, and beautiful as the pieces were themselves. I recommend Marie and her creative talents to any bride that is looking for one-of-a-kind jewelry on their wedding day.

ll the hairspray!). She then added some extensions to the headpiece, combined with gorgeous matching accessories to be weaved throughout my hair design. Even more stunning was the one piece cathedral length veil/blusher that made me feel like I was floating on air. It was the perfect match to my dress, and made me feel ethereal, especially during photos. Marie is a true artist and will help you design the perfect look(s) for your day(s)! 9/5/20 and 8/28/21

what she does with passion and wants to invest in creating the memorable love stories we all grew up thinking was only a fairytale. It isn’t a fairytale. It’s real. Love is real and women like Marie exist. She heard my story and she carefully crafted the one item I had from my mother. An item I thought would be lost to us due to age and found crumbled in a box. I lost my mother as a teenager and my deepest desire was to have something meaningful of hers during this momentous occasion in my life. Every girl wants their mom to be there for moments like this and I’ve lived a life without her there. Without her touch, words, or influence Is something I wouldn’t wish on anyone. But here I am today proud of the woman I have become and excited to create a life I know she would be proud of me for living. I found Marie after searching for someone to restore my mother’s veil. I thought oh boy…she must be in France! There is no way this is going to be easy. How is this going to work? After a few clicks I viewed her website, her Instagram -“and read all the beautiful love stories she helped complete! I saw her talents played out and was blown away. I am blessed to have contacted her and so unbelievably grateful her hands touched my mother’s veil. Little did I know she was just a town away from me in New Jersey! She’s not millions of miles away? Amazing. My hearts desire was to be able to have something significant and as impactful as wearing my mother’s veil as I say the words “I do” to the man I have chosen to love for the rest of my life. My Mother never met him, but I know she will be with me as I walk down that aisle on my wedding day. And it is all due to Marie. Thank you is not enough to express my gratitude. Having this veil on my day means she will be there as I take this huge step forward in my life. I am wearing something she also wore and in better condition than the way it was left? How in the world Marie carefully crafted my mother’s poofy 90’s veil into this sleek modern stunning Beauty that I will be able to pass along for generations to come? With great love that’s how. Her skills are unmatched. She re-crafted this veil with great meticulous attention, you feel safe knowing she will do her very best to give you the best opportunity to wear something meaningful, unique, beautiful, and what you never knew to be possible! I am wrapped in beautiful memories and flooded with emotion today. Thank you Marie for gifting me the ability to look feel positively stunning on my day. As every bride should. This is a work of art and I am forever grateful. Thank you for giving me the opportunity to have a piece of my mother on my wedding day. I have never imagined being granted this opportunity and I feel truly blessed to have met you.

adpiece she designed for me. It is absolutely beautiful! Marie is truly amazing at her craft. She also has the sweetest and most engaging personality. She always made me feel so comfortable. I really appreciated her patience and kindness as she worked with me after having to postpone our wedding due to COVID-19. Marie made rescheduling so simple, and she made me forget about all of the wedding-planning stress each time I met with her. I am very much looking forward to wearing my headpiece on my wedding day! Marie is the best and I highly recommend Headpiece.com!!!

o wear her veil when I got married. The veil was from the 70s and very yellow and fragile and Marie’s talented hands brought it back to life and transformed it into a work of art! Marie lightened the veil and redesigned into one of her signature styles. It came out absolutely stunning! Marie cared so much about the project, I felt safe leaving this precious heirloom with her. She walked me through the process and updated me as work went along. She is 100% professional and also so inviting- she felt like family by her end of the process! I would recommend her to anyone looking to restore or design a veil or headpiece!

o cancel our actual wedding reception due to it. However, Marie was extremely sympathetic and made sure to check in on her brides! Even though I did not have a rescheduled date for my wedding reception, we scheduled a photo shoot quickly to be able to wear my wedding gown and veil. Marie was more than accommodating to amp up production time so that I would have my veil in time for pictures. The veil is amazing and made with love and care. The details are unique and all handmade. Highly recommend Marie and headpiece.com for any bride that is looking for a custom piece that will have a special place in your heart and can be passed down for generations to come!
