We selected Harry’s right after we met Cindy for our tour and information interview. She was so professional, never tried to over sell us anything and was an absolute pleasure to work with. We met several times and emailed as we progressed through the planning. We had our ceremony and reception and the transition was seamless. The day of It was all hands on deck and Cindy was calming and handled everything perfectly, she had everything under control. The value for everything you get was incredible! Everyone raved about the food, the cake that they make for you, the table settings and decor. It was so elegant and I highly recommend for a wedding venue or any event.

I had my wedding this past May at Harrys Savoy Ballroom and it was amazing. The best part of having my wedding at Harrys was the absolutely amazing wedding coordinator Cindy! She made everything about my wedding stress free. If I had a questions she was there, she set up my centerpieces up perfectly, she kept us on schedule, and has a calming energy. I did not have to worry about a single thing with Cindy around. Not only was Cindy great, but the whole Harrys staff was amazing. They went around to make sure not only my husband and I had what we needed but also tended to our guests. The venue is beautiful, the staff is amazing, and the food was mind blowing. A month after my wedding I have not heard a single complaint from any of our guest about the food, the staff, or the venue. All my guest had an amazing time! I could not have asked for a better venue and the only complaint I have is the day is over. If I had to redo my wedding I would still pick Harrys every time!

With over 25 years in the wedding and event industry, Cindy Bene brings a wealth of experience, warmth, and creativity to every celebration she helps plan. As the lead Wedding Specialist at Harry’s Savoy Ballroom, Cindy has guided hundreds of couples through one of the most meaningful days of their lives, yet she still finds herself deeply moved by heartfelt toasts and beautiful ceremonies. A proud graduate of Drexel University with a B.S. in Design & Merchandising, Cindy combines a refined design sensibility with meticulous attention to detail. Her passion for hospitality and her calm, expert presence have earned her the trust of countless clients—and the recognition of her peers. Cindy has been voted Best Wedding Planner in Delaware twice by Readers’ Choice and is a 17-year member of the National Association of Catering and Events (NACE). Her dedication extends beyond weddings. Married for 45 years, Cindy knows the value of love and partnership, which inspires her work every day. She’s also a long-time Red Cross apheresis donor and enjoys cooking and gardening in her spare time—bringing the same care and creativity to her home life as she does to each wedding and event she plans. Whether helping to design a timeless ballroom reception or managing the behind-the-scenes logistics, Cindy is honored to be a part of every couple’s journey—and still believes there’s nothing more magical than a wedding day.

every detail was exactly how we wanted it. She was also flexible with the package to allow us to replace stuff we didn't want. During the ceremony and reception, Cindy made sure everything happened right on time. Her suggestions made everything flow really nicely. The food was excellent. It was served hot and tasted just as good for all 108 people as it did during our tasting. And the cheesesteaks at the end were the best thing ever. The staff was all very friendly and helpful, too. Harry's was able to combine everything my finance and I were looking for in a venue as well as having many inclusions which really helped in our wedding planning. On top of the great venue working with Gloria couldn't have made my wedding planning any easier. From the very beginning I felt very comfortable with Gloria and confident that my wedding reception would go smoothly. If there were any issues they were never brought to my attention and handled without me which is EXACTLY what I was looking for. I couldn't have asked for anything better than the service, food and experience I had with Harry's Savoy. Highly recommend to anyone.
