We truly can’t imagine having our wedding anywhere else. It was exactly what we imagined it would be. Not to mention our guests have been raving about it since - from the venue its...
elf, being able to float between the indoors and the courtyard, the staff, the beautiful side bar room. I think my dad has a man-crush on the manager Steve (for good reason).
Working with Steve at Hamilton Loft was one of the best parts of our wedding planning process. Steve and his team are so thoughtful, flexible, and honest during planning. Frankly, working with Steve was one of the only parts of the planning process that wasn’t stressful because of how professional and experienced he is. You can tell how much pride their team has in creating thoughtful, tailored, and special experiences for every single event they have. Steve’s team entertained many of our specific requests regarding the bar package and event layout, considered a few crazy ideas we had, allowed us to conduct multiple planning walkthroughs, and supported us every step of the way.
Something I think is worth mentioning is how many improvements to the venue they made in the year from when we signed the contract to our Wedding Day… almost a different venue entirely! They added so much greenery, an outdoor pergola, fresh paint, and more. It goes to show how much pride they have in creating the best possible venue for whatever event people want to plan. We’d recommend Hamilton Loft to anyone looking to plan a truly memorable event!
Hamilton Loft was the perfect place for our 90 person wedding. We chose the venue because of its accessibility (all one floor), the indoor-outdoor experience, the stunning modern y...
et elegant design, and the in-house amenities all at an incredible price point. The venue is even better than the pictures. It is a beautiful and versatile space that doesn't even need to be styled too much because it looks stunning as is, especially in natural light. Their outdoor space is just as charming as the indoor space, which allows for a fun cocktail hour experience with an indoor bar and outdoor bar. Hamilton Loft has so much to offer from the bar packages, furniture, getting ready suites, tables, plants, full kitchen, lighting, and so much more. Even the bathroom area looks as classy and elegant as the rest of the space. Working with the Hamilton Loft team was also seamless. Steve, Enzo, and the rest of the team at Hamilton Loft are so kind, responsive, and professional. They would check-in regularly to make sure that we had everything we needed and were committed to making our wedding day exactly as we had imagined. Our guests commented that the bartenders and all the staff working the wedding were the sweetest, most attentive people who played a big role in making the experience unforgettable.
Hamilton Loft is an incredible venue and Steve, Enzo, and the entire staff went above and beyond for our wedding. Everyone was so incredibly kind, welcoming, generous, and accommod...
ating. The space itself is incredibly elegant and beautiful and is the dream space for any Brooklyn wedding, and the Loft team goes the extra mile. Our guests were so taken care of that multiple people approached us on wedding day and days following to pass on how amazing the staff was. Not only that, but the staff said yes to every request we had. We really felt like we were their highest priority on our wedding day and they were a huge part of making the day feel truly special and perfect. We have been recommending this space to everyone because not only do you get a beautiful and unique venue, but the service is second to none!
We had our wedding with 130 guests at Hamilton Loft and couldn’t have been happier with the venue. The space is beautiful and worked perfectly throughout the day. We got lucky with...
the weather and it was great to have the outdoor space.
Steve is as good as they come. He truly did everything he could to ensure we had the best day possible, from helping us with vendors to cranking out espressos for the espresso martinis on the morning of our wedding because, and I quote “we don’t use that fake shit”.
They have a great collection of furniture and accessories you’re able to use and had invested a ton in the space since we booked adding lighting, furniture and plants which we’d have otherwise had to rent.
The bar selection was fantastic and the bar team Steve brought in were equally great and crushed it all night.
Not planning on having a second wedding but if I had to, it would be at Hamilton Loft.
Hamilton Loft was the perfect venue for our wedding in August 2025. We loved it on our first visit nearly 18 months before our date (we visited on a gray rainy day and the light wa...
s still amazing!), and then were blown away by the updates Steve and his team made between then and our walkthrough. The open and flexible space allowed us to add personal touches -- from photos and keepsakes on the shelves to a Mister Softee truck parked outside. Steve and Enzo were both so easy to work with, always willing to answer every question and make recommendations throughout the planning process. They made the whole day comfortable and fun for us and for our guests. I couldn't recommend this space and this team more!!
My husband and I got married at Hamilton Loft last month and could not recommend it more. Steve, Enzo, and the whole team went above and beyond to accommodate us and make sure that...
our wedding was everything we envisioned. The space is a great size and easily fit our wedding that was around 100 guests. The entire staff was so friendly and kind. The space is very customizable for a variety of floor plans, and configurations and the outdoor area adds so much to the guest experience. Could not have been happier that we went with Hamilton Loft for our wedding!
The best decision I made for my wedding was to choose Hamilton Loft as the venue! Steve at Hamilton Loft is so helpful and so communicative. The venue was going through some upgrad...
es this year, and all the upgrades were just gorgeous. Both suites for the marrying couple are very spacious and beautiful, the main room for the ceremony and reception is honestly one of the most gorgeous things you'll ever see. The bar package is included with the venue, and the drinks were top notch! Highly highly highly recommend!
My wife and I had our wedding at Hamilton Loft (formerly Shell's Loft Red Hook) in early May 2025, and the venue and staff exceeded all expectations. While in a non-descript locat...
ion, the venue really turned out to be perfect, both visually and functionally. We had just over 200 guests in attendance, and we were able to make the best use of the indoor/outdoor space, the dance floor, bar and lounge space, etc. The multiple rooms and areas made it helpful for moving traffic and keeping the flow of the night going. Furthermore, the venue upgrades that Steve and Hamilton Loft made between when we booked the venue and the day of our wedding, all contributed to the guest experience and charm/comfort of the space (e.g., newly installed bistro lighting indoors and outdoors, ivy along the perimeter fence, new pergola, upgraded lounge furniture, etc.). From the billboards to the exposed bricks and white-washed walls, there is a "Brooklyn meets Cape Cod vibes"...making it both cool and classy.
The entire team at Hamilton's Loft, led by Steve, was highly professional and impressive. We especially appreciated that Hamilton Loft, as opposed to many other venues, provided much of our needs in-house, including tables and chairs, lounge furniture, plants, lighting, floor plan design, and more, saving us money and hassle. As for outside vendors, we worked with Italiana Foods to cater a floating-style dinner (utilizing their cute novelty pizza truck for appetizers and late-night), DJ Ben Goldfarb for the playlist (he's incredibly easy-going and collaborative), Buds of Brooklyn for floral (arrangements were simple and beautiful), and Kristyn Miller for her gorgeous photography. Special kudos goes to Phoebe, their in-house coordinator, who was super professional and knowledgeable.
Overall, working with Hamilton loft was very easy. The team is incredibly responsive and flexible, matching our vision for the night. We wouldn't have changed a thing…it was a beautiful venue and wedding, and an epic party!

unicative throughout and his relaxed and friendly demeanor made the entire planning process stress-free.
Our guests are still raving about the bar (which Steve and his team handled), in particular how friendly and fun the staff was.
The venue had everything we needed -- from a comfortable getting ready-space to a beautiful outdoor space for cocktail hour. We really can’t recommend the Hamilton Loft enough!!!

t the end of April 2025, they were so responsive, flexible, and accommodating to any question/request we made throughout the process. In an industry where many event spaces and vendors can feel like they are just focused on upcharging you on every little thing, that was not at all the case with Steve and the Hamilton's Loft team.
In terms of the venue itself, the main space was the perfect size for our wedding of 135 people. We got ready together on site in 1 of the 2 dressing rooms (lots of natural lights, mirrors, couches) and we used the second dressing room for a small Chinese tea ceremony with about 10 people prior to the ceremony for all of our guests. Our ceremony was comfortable in the main space with about 130 chairs. We loved the side room used for the cocktail hour (large bar, lots of plants, and they have many optional couches/chairs for that space as well). The bartenders were awesome - somehow there was never a long line at the bar. We had a band with a relatively large footprint as well as a large dance floor during the reception but the room still felt very open.
We would choose Hamilton's Loft over and over again!
Working with Steve and the rest of the staff at Hamilton Loft was absolutely incredible. They made our day totally perfect! The venue is beautiful and the staff is all hard-working...
and very kind. We got TONS of compliments about our specialty cocktail (a lavender coconut margarita) and of course about how beautiful the space is. The bridal suite is large and has gorgeous furniture. They also have lots of pretty plants that make the space even more appealing. We had a pretty specific vision for the layout and they followed through perfectly!
Shell's Loft Red Hook was exactly the versatile space we needed to bring our creative Brooklyn wedding vision to life, and Steve and his team made the entire experience exceptional...
. The industrial-chic venue served as the perfect blank canvas for all our personal touches (from our popup bodega to neighborhood-themed tables), and Steve worked seamlessly with Brittany, Molly, and the rest of our Modern Rebel team to help execute every detail. The bar staff was incredibly efficient, and Steve's flexibility, organization and attentive approach made coordinating our special day feel effortless. Having a venue host who not only understands your creative vision but actively helps you achieve it while keeping everything running smoothly is invaluable—Steve and Shell's Loft delivered on all fronts. If you're looking for a space where you can truly make your celebration your own, with a supportive team that knows how to bring it all together perfectly, this is your spot.

he reception was perfect. The venue itself is really beautiful, comfortable, and extremely versatile to accommodate whatever style of wedding you are trying to achieve. We had about 120 guests and an 8 piece band, with plenty of space for a dance floor and seating inside. Working with Steve, the events manager, throughout the planning process, was great. He is extremely responsive and professional. Any questions we had, he provided a speedy response as well as recommendations for vendors or ways to utilize the space. Their in-house bar packages are great, and we loved the specialty cocktail that was a part of our package! On the day of the reception, Steve and the bartending staff did an amazing job of serving our guests. Everyone loved the venue and the drinks! We heard so many compliments about how beautiful the venue was and how smoothly the entire reception ran. Thank you to Steve and the Shell's Loft team for being such a big part of making our wedding day so great!

s so beautiful and there’s so much you can do if you want to, and at the same time, if you want a simple canvas, it’s beautiful enough as well to leave it as is.
The bar service was amazing! Our friends could not stop raving about the drinks.
We are so grateful for Steve and Shell’s Loft.

s of plants, all the furniture we needed and was an amazing vibe and perfect size for our wedding (120 people). But Steve made the whole experience SO easy. He was so friendly, professional and approachable. We had a lot of questions and requests and he was great about being super accommodating and understanding. He felt like a true partner in the process- even helping get us introduced with other amazing vendors.
Seriously- if their venue is the right size and you want a helping hand you can't go wrong!

Shell's Loft was the perfect spot for our wedding and everything came together there so well with minimal stress!
Steve and the entire Shell's Loft team responded to every phone ...
call and email quickly, they were extremely flexible with our schedule, getting into the space, accommodating the deliveries and vendors, and went way above and beyond to help make the day come together. They were able to flex a little bit with the bar package so I could get one of my favorite cocktails on the menu, were happy to help us out with furniture, and at one point when we were dealing with an electrical issue (with our equipment, not there's) they even brought in an electrician to help us resolve it at the last minute!
They have a roster of experienced vendors that we tapped into for lighting and music who knew the space well, worked quickly, and delivered an incredible experience to the guests. The sun came in through the skylights and large windows during the ceremony and when the sun went down and the lighting came on, the space absolutely came alive for the party. The pictures are great, but even they don't do it justice.
Steve knows the area well and was helpful advising on parking, afterparty spots, had great ideas for food and dessert options, and was an all around enthusiastic collaborator. I could ramble about this further, but suffice to say, they do an exceptional job at being responsive and flexible, and they brainstormed and collaborated with us on ideas for the event and were happy to help us with solutions and access to vendors and experts.
My husband and I had our wedding here in August, 2024, and we cannot say enough good things about both the venue and the venue manager Steve. From our very first tour we could tell...
Steve was easy to work with and very accommodating. Whenever we had questions he was quick to hop on a call or reply to an email, and happy to help. The venue is beautiful with tons of light and vaulted ceilings, and the exposed beams were a perfect way for our florist to warm up the space with greens. Plants are also included in the rental and it’s a nice touch to the warehouse chic look. Honestly, we love the way everything turned out and we couldn’t believe how stunning the place looked. The in house bar service kept the drinks flowing and everyone had a really great time dancing. Though we had a little rain early on, thankfully it cleared up so we could take advantage of the outdoor space. The Mister Softee truck we had was a big hit! We would definitely recommend Shell’s Loft for your wedding or big event :)
One of the biggest reasons we went with Shell's Loft in Red Hook was because of Steve, the event manager. Steve's calm attitude helped reduce the stress of wedding planning and mad...
e us feel like we were in good hands. Additionally, the venue came with great vendor recommendations - 3 out of the 4 vendors we booked were from the list provided! Amazingly, we were able to put everything together for 100 guests below our budget. On the day of the wedding, the space absolutely delivered. The fixtures, ranging from natural wood to exposed brick, provided a touch that'd be hard to come by elsewhere. We also were able to easily transform the venue into the aesthetic we wanted, and all the natural light allowed for such great photos. To top it all off, the bar service that Steve and team provided was awesome. All of our guests had a phenomenal time and it was an unforgettable day for us!
Shell’s Loft in Red Hook was the perfect wedding venue. No matter the weather, the amount of natural light that feeds into the venue is stunning. Our ceremony was in front of a wal...
l with exposed brick and featured some of the large plants available at the venue. For something that sounds so simplistic with so little to set up, it looked absolutely stunning. The setup of the venue allowed guests to wander between multiple rooms, all while staying in relatively close quarters (making it surprisingly easy to find someone) and on one floor (very wheelchair accessible). The floor plan is unique, but with that comes flexibility to make it your own. For a venue that photographs beautifully, it somehow looks even better in person.
Steve, who we worked with throughout the process, was an absolute gem. He offered great advice for planning the bar package offered through the venue and was focused on finding the right solution to any question that came his way. It’s quick to see what a great guy Steve is, and all the more confirmation hearing it from every vendor that I worked with.
One big benefit is all of the flexibility offered with outside vendors. While the venue has a list of ‘recommended vendors’ (several of whom I went with and highly, highly recommend), those aren’t the only options to choose from, unlike some of the other venues nearby. I would highly recommend hosting any event at Shell’s Loft Red Hook.
Shell's Loft was worth every penny. We loved the space for its coziness, natural lighting, exposed brick wall, greenery, and the stylish in-house furniture (with additional pieces ...
available for rent). We visited many venues, but Shell's Loft stood out not just for its beautiful interior and huge parking lot (we used it for food trucks!), but also because of Steve's incredible energy. Steve was amazing to work with on the most important day of our lives—kind, understanding, responsible, and an all-around great guy. I highly recommend this venue to anyone!

omes with a lot in terms of decor / lighting and some furniture which meant we had to bring in less overall and could rely more on the natural space / light. We also loved that we were able to dress up the outdoor area and have indoor/outdoor seating for our guests. Last but not least, the bar service was amazing - the drinks were great. We had ~150 guests and they never had to wait more than a few minutes for a drink. Big thank you to Steve & team for helping create such a magical night!

strial vibe within a modern slightly BoHo/Hamptons aesthetic mixed in with the subtle decor details throughout. Big Plus is that the furniture was included and no additional rentals were needed.
Steve was so very accommodating, patient, and a dream of a venue manager to work with. Helps make all the stressful bits of planning an event feel more at ease! We are so happy to have found Shells Loft to host our family and friends with an excellent reception.
Shell's loft red hook is a beautiful space for your wedding! The space can transform into anything you want. It has an industrial bohemian look, so if that's your vibe, this place ...
is for you! Some furniture comes with your event, some can be rented through their inhouse prop house. They also do liquor/alcohol in house as well, all super easy! Steve is an absolute legend, he helped us along the whole way and was very responsive and kind. Don't think, just book this place!

h high ceilings and exposed beams, dimmable lights, a large bridal suite, media room, coat room, catering kitchen, and three bathrooms. The multipurpose space also allows use of a variety of in house furniture including tables, chairs, a bar, sofas, tables, plants, etc. Our guests loved the vibe of the space- almost everyone noted how romantic and beautiful the party turned out.
Steve, the manager, was a pleasure to work with. He is highly communicative, reliable, and a great help with everything. He went far beyond his responsibilities to help my family and I in a stressful situation. We cannot thank him enough!
All around 10/10 :)

r 100 people seated. The bridal suite is nice and large, and the overall vibe and aesthetic of the place was exactly what we were looking for. It lets a lot of natural light in during the day, and has slightly dim light which were very pleasing for the evening portion. We had a few tables outside but didn't really set up the outdoor area (parking lot); however it is certainly large enough to be put to use or even be the main location of the event.
We want to give Steve, the manager, a huge shoutout. He was VERY kind, respectful, and accommodating. He guided us through the whole process, gave us his advice and insight, and was there throughout the whole event making sure things were running smoothly. We could not thank him enough!
We cannot recommend this space enough. The service, aesthetic, and location are all 10/10!
My partner and I had our wedding at Shells loft this past August and we couldn't have asked for a more attentive and helpful crew. Throughout the process, Steve was quick to reply,...
willing to be accommodating and reassuring throughout the process. Our worries about the venue looking too casual or industrial was assuaged as we worked with our caterers and Steve. As plant lovers the giant plants were exactly the touch we needed. it was clear he knew what he was doing and that we could trust him. Would definitely work with Steve again if we had to do it over.
