Wendy Vario of Hair by Wendy was amazing from start to finish. She created exactly the hairstyle I had envisioned and made me feel beautiful, confident, and completely like myself ...
on my wedding day.
Wendy was so attentive and thoughtful throughout the entire process. She listened to what I wanted, offered helpful guidance, and made sure every detail was perfect. My hair looked beautiful in person and in photos, and it stayed in place throughout the entire day and night.
She also brought such a calm and positive energy to the morning. Getting ready can feel hectic, but Wendy helped make the experience feel relaxed and enjoyable. She was professional, kind, and so easy to have there during such an important part of the day.
I am so grateful to Wendy for helping me feel my absolute best. I cannot recommend Hair by Wendy enough to any bride looking for someone talented, reliable, and wonderful to work with.

y hairstylist when it was my turn. Fast forward to September 2026 and Wendy did my hair, plus all 6 of my bridesmaids, and my mother and mother-in-laws hair. Wendy was punctual, professional, and brought a calm presence to the getting ready suite as we got out hair done. She effortlessly styled all 9 of us and actually finished ahead of our timeline which allowed extra time for touch ups and more time for photos. All my girls and mothers felt so beautiful and comfortable with their hairstyles, and let me tell you, everyones hair lasted ALL NIGHT. As a bride who was outside taking photos, on the dance floor for multiple hours, and then out in the rain taking late night photos, my hair did not budge. My beautiful half up hairstyle lasted all night. If you're a bride getting married in the Pittsburgh area, book Hair by Wendy Vario and you will not be disappointed.

wn and she did both looks so I was able to see which one I would want for the wedding day. Her attention to detail and making sure I had absolutely everything I wanted was just more than I could have ever asked for. She was so kind and you could just feel she truly wanted to make sure you felt beautiful. The wedding day was so stress free the morning of, and a lot of that was thanks for the wonderful people we had to get all of us ready. She brought an assistant, Sydney, who was equally as amazing and talented! Every single girl loved their hair and felt beautiful. She made sure that they all got exactly what they wanted. She joined in on the laughter, happiness and love of the day and she truly has a beautiful heart. I can’t thank her enough for making me and all of my girls, mother and flower girls feel confident and beautiful on my wedding day!!

She styled my hair and my bridesmaids’ hair, and everything turned out perfect. I was able to do a trial with her in advance, and both during the trial and wedding day she was professional and friendly. Wendy even helped me work through my first experience with hair extensions! I am so pleased with how gorgeous my hair and my bridesmaids’ hair turned out for my wedding, and I would definitely recommend Wendy!

s able to style everyone’s hair exactly how they wanted, and she was able to do it quickly. I had an intricate headpiece that my mother had worn for her wedding. Wendy understood how much it meant to me, and went out of her way to make sure it looked beautiful in my hair. My wedding hairstyle looked gorgeous, and it did not move the entire night, even though I was dancing and jumping. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a hairstylist! I was so lucky to have her as part of my wedding day.

lly), detail oriented, and truly wants you to feel like your most beautiful self for your special day. I actually teared up at my trail! I have curly hair and a lot of it and she gave me the a beautiful smooth half up/half down style that I was obsessed with. My wedding party had a variety of lengths, textures, and thickness and everyone loved their style and we all held up through the night. Wendy also helped refer me to an amazing make-up artist (Tamie Konzier) and they worked together to be an amazing glam team. Do not do anymore searching for a hairstylist, Wendy is this best.

ess. During the hair trial, she gladly tried a couple different styles until we got it just right. On the day of, she offered to re-curl and spray my friend's hair that has trouble holding a curl. One of my other friends initially didn't sign up for a hairstyle but Wendy squeezed her in when she changed her mind, all with lots of time to spare! I loved my hairstyle as well. Highly recommend Wendy.

er expertise on such an important day in my life...and I was so impressed!! Not only did she bring all her hair products and tools, but she had additional lighting and mirrors to see every angle. She also had such a calmness in the room, and worked quickly and efficiently. She did 4 different styles for myself and my bridesmaids and we were done in no time. Not only was the experience so much fun and relaxed with her, but all of our hairstyles STAYED. Our hair looked the exact same from when she was finished working until the end of the evening. She did a flawless job and I recommend her for any special event. Thank you so much Wendy!!!

nd everyone’s hair stayed put ALL night! If you want an updo that isn’t too “fussy”, Wendy is definitely your girl (although, I’m sure she can do really extravagant updos too, because she’s just that good!) She is amazing at doing braids and fishtails, super long hair and super short hair! She was quick and responsive to emails. Wendy is so sweet and made me feel at ease at both my trial and on my wedding day. She was great to work with and got along with my bridesmaids so well. Last, Wendy traveled a considerable distance for my wedding, and didn’t charge anything additional. I will be recommending Wendy to anyone looking for a hair stylist for their wedding day. Thank you so much!
Wendy is so talented, and I’m glad that she was available to style hair for my wedding. She was referred to me by my hair stylist. Wendy will travel to you, and on my wedding day, ...
she arrived on time and brought everything that she needed. She created 5 updos for myself and my bridesmaids and she curled my mom’s hair. She is a pro, so she knew how much time she needed which meant that we could stay on schedule. Everyone wanted something different, and she was able to accommodate. Not only did she make everyone look objectively beautiful, but even more importantly, she gave everyone what they wanted. She could replicate styles from photos. I didn’t book a trial session with her because she was so highly regarded. And I didn’t need it. With photos and her method of talking it through, verifying volume and placement in the mirror, plus her own creativity, my hair looked better than I imagined. I’m glad I let her do her thing. I felt absolutely beautiful and my hair and that of my bridesmaids stayed in all night. She was great. Hire her!
Wendy is an incredibly talented stylist, and I'm grateful to have known her for more than 10 years. When it comes to hair, there is no one I trust more. Wendy graciously agreed to ...

Not only did she do a phenomenal job in making us all look and feel gorgeous, but she also helped make the entire getting-ready process calmer and even more enjoyable. I am very grateful to have had her by my side on my special day, and I highly recommend her for any hair needs - whether routine color/highlights or an updo for a wedding or special event. She simply is the best!

. Wendy worked some sort of magic because it looked even better than the photo. My braid was full and thick. It was perfect! Wendy understood my style and really brought my look together. She also kept me at ease during the most important day of my life. Go to Wendy for all of your hair needs. She's incredible!

First of all, she has done my hair in 2 other weddings in which I was a b...
ridesmaid. Each time I felt gorgeous and any hair out of place she was willing to fix.
As the bride, she was perfect to work with. I did a trial at Studio Booth first. I had a photo for her and she did EXACTLY what the picture looked like. Then she kept giving me options - a more messy look, more volume, etc. On my wedding day she was on time, professional and full of smiles. Each one of my bridesmaids look gorgeous and I looked exactly how I wanted too. All of us (8 total) were done in like 3 hours.
