Gus's World Famous Fried Chicken is a full-service restaurant frying up made-to-order, award-winning, hand-battered fried chicken. Not to be confused with Nashville hot chicken; we serve Southern-style spicy fried chicken. Most of our house-made sides tend to be on the sweeter side and pair perfectly with our chicken. Finish your meal with one of our simple Southern pies baked fresh daily. Gus’s has two locally owned and operated locations in Central Texas—Austin and San Marcos. Our catering team is completely mobile and will cook on-site to provide your guests with an unforgettable dining experience. We’ll work with you to select the best dishes for your crowd, including off-menu favorites like catfish and honey butter chicken biscuits. When it’s time to serve, we offer full service, family style, or buffet options. Our price per plate typically ranges from $15-$30 depending on selection, travel distance, and crowd size.
