About this vendor
We're Josh and Kate - a husband-and-wife wedding photography team based in Snohomish, Washington. We've been doing this together for over 15 years, we've photographed 650+ weddings, and we're still the couple that gets a little teary during first looks. (That's mostly Kate. Josh is behind the other camera pretending he's fine.)
Here's the thing about wedding photography that nobody tells you: the photos you'll care about in 20 years aren't the ones where everyone was perfectly arranged with their hands in exactly the right spot. They're the ones where something real was happening. Your maid of honor whispering "you look incredible" while she fixes your veil. Your partner seeing you for the first time and completely short-circuiting. Your grandma on the dance floor doing something no one expected.
That's what photograph. It's what we've always focused on.
We photograph guided, story-first weddings: candid, documentary-style coverage of your getting ready, ceremony, and reception, plus hands-on, fun guided portraits so you never have to wonder what to do in front of a camera. About 85% of our galleries end up candid, and you also get strong portraits worth framing for your walls and album. We use a method called flow posing to get lots of different images from a single direction, so portrait time stays quick, relaxed, and never boring. Color Integrity editing keeps skin tones and wedding colors true to life. Serving Snohomish County, Seattle, the Eastside, and all of Washington.
What is Color Integrity? Our editing beleif that your wedding photos should look like your wedding looked. Real skin tones. Accurate colors. No heavy-handed filters, no orange-everyone, no desaturated moodiness that'll look dated in three years. We edit for timelessness because your photos should hold up for decades, not just for the Instagram algorithm this month.
The experience and logistics stuff, since that matters too: 650+ weddings across over 100 venues in the greater Seattle and Snohomish County area. We know the venues - the good light spots, the backup plans when the PNW decides to PNW, the timelines that actually work versus the ones that look good on paper. We've been featured in HuffPost, Style Me Pretty, and PNW Weddings, we've earned WeddingWire Couples' Choice awards for 10+ consecutive years, and we're members of the Snohomish Wedding Guild. We publish our pricing right on our website because we think your time is worth more than a guessing game.
We're not for everyone, and we're genuinely okay with that. If you want heavy posing, trendy filters, and a photographer who disappears for an hour with your bridal party - there are great people who do that. But if you want your wedding to look like your wedding, photographed by two people who've built their entire career on showing up, paying attention, and caring way too much- that's us.
Come look through our work and see if it feels right.

Kate and Josh are phenomenal. If there’s anything you will take away from choosing them to be your wedding photographers, it’s this: They will capture every special moment on your ...
wedding day that when you look back at your wedding years down the road, you won’t wonder if you remembered it correctly. Because Kate and Josh were and are right there to ensure it’s captured just as you’d remember it. But photography is not just what you’d get from them. Kate is very prepared to handle so many random factors that could occur day of. Need to bustle your dress really quick? Kate’s right there to do it. Button from your coat jacket fell off? Kate will expertly fix it. Have an idea in your head for photos that you can’t quite put into words? Kate and Josh will help bring it to life. Plus they got our sneak peeks to us by the next day!
Truly, Kate and Josh are a great team and very personable. You can tell that they are cohesive partners who just “get it.” And despite only having a few meetings and a full day with them, we felt very comfortable with them and felt that they truly want to get to know your story as a couple. They also work amazingly with our wedding coordinator and videographers. We loved GSquared and we’re certain you’d love them too. Also, if you do go with GSquared, they provide you with a questionnaire for who you’d like to have group photos with, which is so very helpful day of your wedding so that you can ensure you get those group photos with your guests.
We cannot recommend Kate and Josh from G-Squared Wedding Photography enough! They are incredibly talented photographers, and our photos turned out absolutely beautiful. They are pr...
ofessional, efficient, and somehow make taking hundreds of pictures feel effortless. They know exactly how to pose people and do an amazing job working with all kinds of personalities—which, let’s be honest, is a huge skill when it comes to wedding parties and family photos!
One moment perfectly sums up Kate’s dedication. While she was taking my getting-ready photos, she was moving quickly to stay out of the videographers’ way when one of her light stands hit a ceiling light. The entire light fixture fell and landed directly on top of her head. It had to have hurt, but she barely reacted and just kept working like nothing had happened. We were all much more concerned than she was! Her professionalism and commitment were honestly incredible.
Beyond taking amazing photos, Kate and Josh made our entire wedding day run so much smoother. They weren’t just photographers—they were constantly looking for ways to help. Kate brought us drinks, removed a stain from my wedding dress, glued my necklace so it would stay in place for photos, had extra bobby pins for my daughter’s hair, carried my lip gloss and slippers throughout the day, helped transport supplies to the venue, and was always asking what else she could do to make things easier for us.
Kate was also an incredible resource throughout the planning process. She offered helpful timeline suggestions, guidance on engagement photo outfits, family photo templates, and so many little tips that made the day feel organized and stress-free. She truly went above and beyond every expectation we had for a wedding photographer and, honestly, could double as an amazing day-of coordinator.
If you’re looking for photographers who not only deliver stunning images but also genuinely care about making your wedding day the best it can be, Kate and Josh are the team to hire. They exceeded every expectation we had, and we would recommend them to anyone without hesitation. 10/10!

ray! They made us very comfortable in front of the camera, especially since we did an engagement shoot with Kate in advance of the wedding.
They made sure to help me get all the photos I wanted, even my spur-of-the moment day-of ideas! Kate and Josh are so kind and cheerful, and also exceptionally knowledgeable. Kate was able to help with my bustle and made everything a breeze.
Kate and Josh’s story with us began long before they photographed our wedding. We first met them at a wedding when my now-husband and I weren’t even dating yet. Something about the...
way we looked at each other caught their attention. They were convinced we’d been together for years. They asked if we’d be willing to do a “fake” engagement shoot with them, and by the time the photos happened, we were officially dating.
Fast forward four years, and when we got engaged, there was never a question of who we wanted to photograph our wedding. Kate and Josh were the only choice.
And wow, did they deliver. Not only are they incredibly talented photographers with an amazing eye for capturing the perfect shot, but they are also some of the kindest, most genuine people you’ll ever meet. They made us feel comfortable, celebrated, and completely ourselves throughout the entire process.
The photos they captured are beyond anything we could have imagined. They preserved not just how our wedding looked, but how it felt: the joy, the emotion, and all the little moments in between.
I cannot recommend Kate and Josh highly enough. Whether you’re looking for engagement photos, wedding photography, maternity photos, or any other milestone worth remembering, they will capture it beautifully and leave you absolutely awestruck.

less information, recommendations, and checked in multiple times until our wedding to ensure we were doing ok and to ask if we needed any help. Once the wedding day arrived, Kate and Josh's expertise shined through by mitigating multiple issues that popped up which kept our stress down and ensured the day ran smoothly. Their personalities are so fun, respectful, but dedicated to the task at hand. I received my preview photos very quickly and was extremely impressed by them. I highly recommend GSquared Weddings Photography for all your big moments. I can't imagine how our day would have gone without them.
Josh + Kate with GSquared Photography are Absolutely Incredible!
From the moment I met Josh and Kate at the Seattle Bridal Expo, I knew they were the perfect photographers for our...
wedding. Their energy, professionalism, and passion for what they do are unmatched! Kate was an absolute powerhouse—she not only captured every shot flawlessly but also kept our timeline on track and became my right-hand gal for anything and everything.
She literally ran and slid across the floor just to get the perfect shot, but her dedication didn’t stop there. She constantly checked in to make sure I ate, kept my drink full, made sure I was comfortable in my shoes, and even reminded me about bustling my dress. She truly went above and beyond in every way.
And if that wasn’t impressive enough—just six days after our wedding, they delivered our entire gallery! I was expecting to wait around 10 weeks, but somehow, they worked their magic at lightning speed without sacrificing quality. That kind of turnaround is insane for wedding photos, and I still can’t believe it!
On top of being phenomenal photographers, they also offer wedding coordination and write blogs that were so helpful throughout the planning process. I am beyond grateful for Josh and Kate—if you want photographers who will capture your day perfectly, take care of you every step of the way, and deliver stunning photos faster than you could ever imagine, GSquared Photography is the only choice!

day of. She is incredibly easy to work with and very thorough, getting all the pictures we could possibly want. On the day of, both Kate and Josh brought a fun and excited atmosphere that got everyone out of their shell and made for some fantastic photos. We HIGHLY recommend Kate and Josh for your big day.
Kate and Josh were absolutely amazing!!!
Our day would not have been what it was without their incredible attention to detail, energy, and professionalism!
From the first phone ...
consultation all the way through the whole process, we knew that we had chosen the best available. When you work with GSquared you not only get an amazing photographer duo, but you also get an incredible amount of insight and experience from a business that has been making weddings amazing for many years.
Kate and Josh made our day unbelievably easy. Whether it was moving through our photos with unbelievable efficiency, having plates made up on our behalf, or making sure our cups never ran dry, we couldn't imagine how our day would have gone without all of their effort. It was like they were everywhere! Despite how present they were, they never seemed out of place.
All that, and we haven't even mentioned the photos. They were absolutely stunning! They captured our love and energy in a way that we didn't even know was possible. With so many to choose from it's difficult to say what our favorites were, we just loved them all so much!
If you choose to to work with GSquared, we can say without a doubt, you will not be disappointed!
Kate is an absolute lifesaver! When our original photographer bailed on us just days before our wedding, we were in a total panic. But Kate swooped in like a guardian angel and sav...
ed the day in the most spectacular way.
From the moment we met her, Kate felt like an old friend. Her easygoing nature and genuine warmth made us feel completely at ease, even in the midst of wedding chaos. It was like having a trusted friend behind the lens, capturing every precious moment with care and skill.
What truly blew us away was Kate's dedication to ensuring we had the perfect photos to remember our special day. Despite the tight timeline, she went above and beyond to scout out the most picturesque locations and work her magic behind the camera.
Thanks to Kate, we have more than just photographs – we have tangible memories that we'll cherish for a lifetime. Her kindness, professionalism, and incredible talent made our wedding day even more magical than we could have imagined. We can't recommend her enough! If you're looking for a photographer who feels like family and delivers breathtaking results, Kate is your girl.
Hiring Kate and Josh was one of the best decisions in our wedding planning process. They were the first vendors that we booked after seeing their photos at the Seattle Wedding Expo...
and they exceeded our every expectation. Kate was so confident, fun, and organized which made it easy to relax and enjoy the day - even through a ring being dropped during our ceremony! On the day of then wedding, Kate and Josh showed up and were on top of everything. They caught the big moments, the little moments, and everything in between. It was fantastic having both of them shoot to get a variety of angles of the same moment - getting ready in different rooms, first looks, vows. I so appreciate having so many photos of the details. Thank you, thank you, thank you, for capturing our day for us to remember for years to come.
Our wedding was absolutely perfect. With that knowledge, I can honestly say hiring Kate to not only photograph, but also assist with planning and coordination, was the single best ...
decision we made throughout the entire planning process. She is a force of nature, and we are forever grateful to her, Josh, and the rest of the GSquared family for orchestrating our dream wedding. Kate’s attention to detail is unparalleled.. and she has the ability to make even the most inexperienced model feel like a goddess. More than that, her ability to read any room, anticipate needs, and provide ‘unreasonable hospitality’ for her clients is what sets her apart from the rest. She advocated for me at times when needed, shielded me from problems until there was a solution, and made game time decisions to bring my vision to life. What more could any bride ask for in a planning partner? Kate was so much more than a vender, and I can’t wait to drop in for holiday mini’s in the years to come. Thank you, Kate!
Kate and Josh provide an incredible service that we've now been pleased to use for two very special occasions- our Engagement photos last fall, and our Wedding ceremony/ Elopement ...
photos just this fall on Orcas Island.
Their work is amazing, their souls adventurous, and their spirits, kind. Kate coordinated a wedding the weekend before ours, and was going to shoot an entire wedding the very day after ours, and stays busy in between those monumental days, posting beautiful photos of engagement shoots, family shoots, fun holiday setups, the list goes on.. Kate is passionate about her work, and it is evident from the caliber of photos she puts out. We joked about not knowing when she has time to sleep.. to which Kate responded, "I'm a glutton for punishment, but I TRULY LOVE what I get to do."
They helped capture for us those blissful moments, when nothing else mattered, and kept us laughing. Kate was extremely helpful, even cleaning my dress‐ what a saint! And either her or Josh left us a little "happy"- a little piece of seaglass- (we found while unpacking after getting home), after my husband David told them I enjoy hunting for it, while we were taking photos on the beach. :) They made our big day feel so special and celebrated!
Hannah and I couldn't be any more happy with our stunningly beautiful photos. It is a wonderful experience working with Kate and Josh, and w'ed highly recommend booking GSquared Photography for your next big event, or any event! We will definitely book again whenever we need photos.
Thank you so much again,
David and Hannah

Kate and Josh were truly one of the best vendors we could have ever hired for our wedding, and I am so thankful we were introduced to them! We also had them do our engagement phot...
os, which was a great introduction prior to just meeting on the wedding day. Both the engagement and wedding photos turned out amazing! Kate and Josh shot such a variety of poses and emotions, as well as many candid photos. Looking back on the photos helped us relieve the entire day, which is so needed since the day goes by so fast! The edited photos were sent to us digitally within a very short amount of time as well.
Besides being extremely happy with our photos, Kate was also very informative in recommending other vendors and providing helpful suggestions during the wedding-planning process. Both of them were so funny and helped calm the stress of the day.
Like all of the other reviews say, Kate is extremely organized and made sure everything ran smoothly at our wedding (even though she was hired for just taking photos!) She worked so hard to make sure everything was perfect!
Having a 2-person team of photographers at our wedding was extremely helpful in order to capture every meaningful moment, as well as two different perspectives of the same shot. Some of my favorite photos are the ones of us reading our vows – photos from behind the bride, showing the groom’s emotions, and vice versa. This wouldn’t have been able to be done with just one photographer!
The two of them truly went above and beyond what they were hired for, to ensure this was the most special day for us. From helping set up, to making sure the timeline was running smoothly, they had a vital role in all aspects of our wedding.
You will be so thrilled if you choose to hire GSquared!
If I could select 100 million stars I would!
One word of advice I was given and pass along: If you could invest in one thing, and spend the extra money, spend it on your photograp...
hers because you will have those pictures for ever. I am so glad we did.
Our engagement photos were a blast, we really got to know Kate, and she instantly made us feel comfortable.
Kate and Josh were absolutely AMAZING. Kate definitely went over and beyond to help with the day of our wedding. She is what ever you need to help things run smoothly; seamstress, bouncer when minor meltdowns need to happen, a voice for bride and groom, coodinator of whatever falls off track... we are BEYOND GREAFUL for her stepping up.
Kate has an eye of landscapes that will make the best photos, connects with her clients, and has the ability to make it fun. She takes the individuals comfort into account, listens, and you can't help but trust her.
Thank you so much Kate and Josh!!
❤️

Kate and Josh are AMAZING. Where do I even begin? We had our family pictures and engagement pictures taken with them before our wedding so I knew their work was incredible. But our...
wedding experience was absolutely out of this world. Kate is such a kind and loving person who has such a passion for her work and the industry she works in. This passion translates through the pictures she takes. She helped capture our day perfectly, and beyond that-she helped everything run so smoothly! We stayed on time, she knew the best time and location for sunset/couples pictures, and made me feel so calm and supported through the day. Thank you so much for your hard work and everything you did. I HIGHLY recommend Gsquared to anyone for family pictures, engagement, wedding, etc.
Choosing GSquared Photography was the best decision my husband and I made. They are so organized, they sent us forms to fill out ahead of time to make sure we captured all of the p...
hotos we wanted on our wedding day. When it came to actually taking the photos on on our wedding day, they were so efficient that photos went by so fast and easily we had extra time. Not only that they send you vendor recommendations and other wedding tips and tricks like how to change your name to make the whole planning experience easier. On the day of they acted as a day of coordinator making sure everything was running on time. Kate even taught my sister how to bustle my dress for me. Not only that, they were a lot of fun to work with and get to know. And the photos turned out spectacular!
Kate and Josh exceeded our expectations in every way possible. At our engagement session, Kate created a fun and comfortable environment which allowed us to be relaxed and totally ...
ourselves. We were also incredibly impressed with the sneak peak photos that evening and timely delivery of the engagement album.
Leading up to the wedding we used their website as a resource as to what to expect and for tips to help in the planning process. On the day of our wedding, Kate and Josh showed up ready to work. Despite having a knee injury, Josh showed up and powered through with extra assistance from their daughter. Unfortunately, our day of coordinator did not make it to the wedding and Kate stepped up in a huge way to coordinate and direct our wedding in addition to capturing beautiful images. The sneak peak images posted the night of the wedding were absolutely amazing and the final wedding album was delivered even faster than we imagined. We would hire Kate and Josh again in a heartbeat and highly recommend them! True professionals, hard workers, clear communication, kind, and so fun! Kate can also crush it on the dance floor!
We first met Kate and Josh in 2019 and were immediately impressed by the quality of their work as well as the way they spoke about providing not just photography services, but also...
comprehensive guidance and assistance throughout the day of our wedding. Not only did they fulfill those promises and more, but they stuck with us throughout the challenges of multiple postponements due to COVID. When the big day finally came more than two years later, we were so grateful to have them there and could not be happier with how everything went. GSquared gets our hearty recommendation for their artistry, professionalism, and compassion!

photos will be cherished forever, and Kate gave us a lot of guidance for what kind of outfits to pack and locations to have the shoot!
On the day of our wedding, we were getting rained out and it was a stressful day. But Kate made sure to assure me that our photos were coming out beautifully even indoors, and made sure we got all the shots we were hoping for. The wedding world isn't lying when they say your photographer is who you spend the most time with outside of your spouse, and it was both easy and assuring to have Kate nearby. Any concern or request she was there to help us prep for - my husband even told me after the wedding that Kate never said no to me when I had requests and just did her best to make it all work out! It's also incredible to have two photographers because now we have photos from different perspectives; while we were taking family photos with Kate, Josh grabbed pictures of our guests having a good time. Our photos are amazing and we're excited to put them into a book soon!
If you're thinking of booking GSquared as your wedding photographers, do it immediately. I don't think you could ask for a better team to capture the love and joy on your special day. We are so grateful to have found and worked with Kate and Josh, and cannot wait for future opportunities with our family!
Make GSquared Wedding Photography the first vendor you book for your wedding!
Kate and Josh are simply incredible, not just as photographers but also as people & leaders in our w...
edding team. In our first call with Kate (over Zoom due to Covid), she did an incredible job of helping us understand what to expect on our wedding day (not just with photography). We were already impressed by GSquared's work & reviews, but chatting with Kate made hiring GSquared truly a no brainer for us.
Soon after booking, our original reception venue decided to not honor our contract, leaving us with 6 months before our wedding to find a new venue. Kate not only gave us several recommendations, but this experience opened our eyes to the WEALTH of knowledge Kate & Josh have shared through their website. Their website became the first (and usually only) place we need to look any time we had a wedding question, including engagement shoot ideas, family photo lists, and the process of changing my name post-wedding.
The engagement shoot was a great way for us to get to know Kate & Josh before our wedding and they helped us prepare for a wonderful wedding day. Behind the scenes, Kate & Josh were also instrumental in helping the day run smoothly; Kate worked tirelessly to make sure we could take photos at picturesque spots throughout our venue (despite the venue telling us late about the need for a permit), Kate & Josh helped us make up time during our wedding to stay on schedule when the ceremony started late, and Kate even taught a group of us how to repair my bustle when it broke at the start of the reception.
Saying that Kate & Josh are a dream team is an understatement. Not only are they amazing at their craft as photographers, but GSquared Wedding Photography are true wedding experts who elevate every event they're a part of! My husband and I are blown away by how they captured our wedding day and we're excited to participate in their mini shoot opportunities in the future too!
I don’t have enough words for how amazing Kate and Josh are. My photos are STUNNING. They are so talented!! Every time I show my pictures to someone they comment on how great our p...
hotographers are. Having two photographers is awesome because you get two different sets of photos from different perspectives and they’re both amazing! We got so many pictures back and every single one is frame-worthy. They are also really fast so it didn’t feel like we were missing out on too much during our wedding (we didn’t do a first look). I definitely recommend having them do your engagement session as well! Kate and Josh were so much fun to work with and they were very helpful throughout the whole process. Hands down worth every single penny!
Josh and Kate really just exceeded all my expectations for the day! Ben and I knew our biggest priority for our wedding day was finding a great photographer, so we didn't make the ...
choice lightly. I cannot recommend Gsquared enough! They went above and beyond your average photographer and really helped the day go smoothly. Not only did they do everything to capture the right shots, but they also worked behind the scenes helping things fall into place when needed. I also did not once feel stressed, awkward, or overwhelmed by their presence; they really made me feel comfortable. The experience of the day with them just went so well. Oh, and the photos turned out great ;)
There are not enough rave-worthy words to describe the time we had with Kate and Josh as our wedding photographers! Due to COVID, a lot of our wedding plans changed and then change...
d again during the last few weeks leading up to our wedding and having Kate be part of our process was seriously a godsend. Her calm throughout our storm helped us refocus and she was willing to do ANYTHING (literally!) to take the added stress off our shoulders. Kate’s communication from time of booking until after our wedding was always quick and she was so easy to get ahold of, even at odd times due to our work schedules. The morning of our wedding, it was rainy and since our venue was all outdoors, most of the seating and tables were soaked. Kate and Josh showed up shortly after the venue opened, even though we were having an evening wedding, to help set up our venue to make it perfect for us. They happily stayed later than our originally contracted time because covid regulations made dinner service and dessert time longer than usual. We seriously cannot say enough about this duo and are so thankful we were able to have them at our wedding!
When we were planning our wedding two years ago, it quickly became apparent to us that we were going to need someone who was interested in adventuring with us. After searching th...
rough hundreds of options, we reached out to Gsquared. Best decision! Kate was a joy to work with, and captured our “January beach elopement” perfectly. The photos are a treasure that we enjoy daily, and that win compliments every time people see them. Would absolutely work with Gsquared again.
Kate and Josh were hands down amazing. They were the perfect addition to our wedding day and we couldn’t have asked for more perfect photos. They captured every moment and more tha...

Kate and Josh were amazing from the outset. We booked online, without ever meeting in person and communicated predominantly through social media and Facebook which was super conven...
ient for me, though Kate made it clear I could reach out to her however worked best. She included us as part of her picture community and we had access to all kinds of fun material and ideas. We had a couple of hiccups in our planning process and Kate helped us so much along the way. She helped us with our timeline making incredible suggestions for photos, times, locations etc. Then, the day of our wedding, my flowers didn’t show up. So, I went to another florist and bought every spare stem they had and put together bouquets for my wedding party. All the bridesmaids’ flowers were great but mine were lackluster. Kate came in and volunteered to help. And help, she did!! She made my mediocre flowers a stunning spread! Mad skills! Then, she and Josh handled our large family, wedding party and allowed me to capitalize their whole day with travel through Glacier National Park, just for on-site adventurous photos, away from the ceremony. The day, and our photos, could not have gone any better, she and Josh were so amazing, so friendly, so professional, so kind and helpful and understanding. Their creativity flowed through in everything we did. And their eye for adventure supplemented our own so nicely. I can’t sing the praises of Kate and Josh nearly enough. No review I could ever give could express how happy and impressed we are with them or how very much they are liked and appreciated.
Thank you Kate and Josh. You are amazeballs.
Gsquared (Kate and Josh) are the best in the business!!!! They have been invaluable during the entire process. Initially we sat down with Kate and she provided us with information ...
to help us begin the process. Gsquared had an option for us to block 3 dates for 30 days until we had a venue locked down and date selected. That was a great option for us since we were so early in the planning process. Gsquared was the first vendor we booked because we loved their pictures so much! Kate, with her prior experience as a wedding planner, sent us a list of venues in our price range to help jump start our planning. Upon selecting a venue Kate sent us lists of vendors (catering companies, DJs, officiants, cake, etc) to ensure that we were looking into reputable companies. We had two days of engagement pictures and got to choose two different locations. Kate was so easy to work with, she watched how we interacted naturally and took pictures that way. The turn around time was quick for our pictures and she does sneak peaks the night of. Kate also sent us information to help with choosing outfits for the engagement sessions so we could look our best. The weeks leading up to the wedding, Kate sent us more information for reference and also sent us a questionnaire so she had that information for the day of. She wanted to understand our story, our personalities and our vision for our wedding and pictures. We met Josh the day of the wedding and he was amazing. Both Kate and Josh helped keep us on track and maintain our sanity in the middle of the craziness leading to the ceremony. Kate jumped in to ensure that things were how we wanted and she ensured that needs were being met. She reminded me to drink water and eat. I am able to speak more about Kate since she was with me all day. My husband said that Josh was same way, very helpful and assisted with everything. Josh and Kate both brought us anything we needed including water and took our plates to our seats. They helped move flowers, bring sparkling cider to guests, coordinated the sparkler exit, everything that was needed. They gave us alone time when needed. A big compliment that guests said was that Kate and Josh were not intrusive, they were able to be hidden but they got amazing pictures! They were instrumental in helping our day be a success, it wouldn’t have gone as smooth without them. I would HIGHLY recommend Gsquared weddings. P.S. The sneak peeks of the pictures are amazing.

GSquared always finds a way to make your pictures look natural, we loved that they incorporated us into the scenery around us, whether that be in the vineyard at our venue, or shooting our engagement pictures in a snow storm. They were very organized and had a really quick turn around time. We had sneak peak wedding pictures by the following day and all wedding pictures within 2 or 3 weeks! GSquared, you rock.
G Squared capture our engagement, and our wedding day beautifully but I don't think we could have chosen a better duo to be attached at our hips on our wedding day. They were so fl...
exible and accommodating and Kate was so wonderful to have. Our wedding went seamlessly and we were completely care free. They truly made so many moments so special and exactly what we wanted. We couldn't have done it without them. So thankful we went with G Squared Photography. We are still so in love with the moments that they captured, and I know we will be going through G Squared for any and all photography needs for years to come. Kate, Josh, THANK YOU.
This photographer duo is legitimately one of the best. Trust them with your vision and they will create magic to achieve it. They are personable, friendly, kind, and very talented....
My wedding was by far one of the most magical days- and it wouldn’t have happened without GSquared Weddings.
Highly recommend ❤️
GSquared Wedding came highly recommended to us by my local neighborhood Facebook page. My goal for our wedding was to keep as local as possible. I set up an appointment to meet wit...
h Kate and the moment I met her, I knew she was the ONE. Their portfolio was exactly what I and my husband love. I spoke with her about my hopes and dreams for capturing our day. She knew and understood all the “weird” and “quirky” requests I had for my ideal wedding. Our theme (Classic & Romantic with Dinosaurs & Video Games) summed up who we are as a couple. As soon as I told her about what I wanted, she ran with it.
Kate and Josh are seasoned veterans, they know the right angles, the perfect lighting, and their photos will truly take your breath away. These two are truly talented, making sure your day is perfect, seamless, and most importantly FUN. They captured all of the funny and precious moments throughout the night, ensuring we would never forget this important day.
Not only did they capture our day, they made sure that our story was heard, and our experience was perfect. I would highly recommend them to everyone that doesn’t want dull pictures, but fun and deep with love and romance.
We had the pleasure of working with Kate for our engagement session and LOVE the results. Not only was she incredibly flexible and knowledgeable, but she made us feel comfortable i...
n front of the camera. We were looking for epic backdrops and photos of "us" in our element... she delivered! We had such a great time looking through photos of us laughing and having fun together as a couple. They were exactly what we were hoping for.
Is AMAZING to work with and very helpful!
Kate and Josh were just amazing...from our engagement photos on Whidbey, to our outdoor wedding in Snohomish, they were fantastic, and had great ideas for backgrounds and poses for...
photos. We were hoping for clear skies for our ceremony, but pretty early in the day it was clear that wasn’t going to happen, Kate had her phone out, checking out the weather to see when the worst of it would pass, keeping me posted on ideas and options, so we could still have our dream outdoor wedding. Clad in ponchos, they took our ceremony and reception photos like champs in the rain, and took the most amazing photos with flashes in the rain. I absolutely, with my whole heart recommend them to capture your special day!
Simply amazing!
We had a great time with Kate and Josh on our wedding day! Like other reviewers had said, the couple makes an amazing team together! Our initial meeting was great - Kate and Josh a...
re very personable and approachable. They cared enough to get to know us and did their research with us to make sure that they deliver photos that we want for our wedding. Our favorite moment with the Gansneder was hiking down to the Snoqualmie Falls (on Kate's suggestion) - even when Kate was wearing a boot! - in full wedding gear. Kate and Josh's commitment to their work is incredible. Between the two of them, they caught some really cool and beautiful perspectives. We are very happy with their work, and highly recommend their service!
I can't say enough about Kate!!!! Oh my god her and her husband Josh are just simply the best. Their professionalism is unmatched. Our wedding day was made perfect because of them....
Kate is not just a photographer, she is a jack of all trades. She helped ease our nerves, and captured amazing moments. Her and Josh were attentive and I could not have imagined our big day without them. On top of all of that our pictures are AMAZING!!! We could not be happier, I would get married 10X over just to work with them again. We are so happy! Thanks again! You guys are the best!

rocess and prep for the big day. Even on the day of, they were immensely helpful with setting up last minute things up in between photo sessions. Kate and Josh went above and beyond their photography roles and took the initiative to help make our day as special as possible. Their talent behind the camera though, truly speaks for itself. The pictures were absolutely amazing and our guests had nothing but compliments to provide. As wonderful as our venue was on its own, Kate and Josh were able to bring it to another level in their pictures and truly make it something special beyond our expectations. To make it even that much sweeter, their prices were very reasonable, with different packages available for engagement and wedding combinations.
I cannot say enough wonderful things about GSquared Weddings. We just got the photos from our wedding and were just blown away by them (it was the same with our engagement picture...
s). When your wedding day comes, hopefully it will be the best day of your life. But… it will most likely pass by in a blink, so having a great photographer is essential. As we looked through ours, not only did we get to relive the day, but we were able to see it in a whole new light. We got to see some great moments and pictures of guests we wished we’d had more time to spend with.
From my first meeting with Kate, I knew we would enjoy the experience. I should add, Kate is also a certified wedding planner, and advice she offered along the way was invaluable. She is well respected among other vendors in the wedding community. Not only is her work outstanding, but she is described by many as one of their favorites to work with. On our wedding day, Kate and Josh not only took outstanding pictures, but they took care of us (made sure we ate, had water throughout the day and took care of little things as they came up).
Like many couples we were a little nervous about doing photos. Kate really made our engagement session fun and that showed in the pictures and we had no stress going into our wedding day session. How many brides can say that? After our wedding we got rave reviews from our guests too. Kate and Josh took the time to get to know people, honored requests for shots and by the end of the night were as much a part of our wedding party as anyone there. Our guests loved them as much as we do.
There are no words that my husband and I can say or type that would begin to convey the gratitude we have when it comes to GSquared. We knew we wanted someone to capture the true ...
US in both our engagement photos and on our wedding day. From the first meeting with Kate, she made us feel comfortable and at ease and we knew they would be the one’s to share and document our journey!
When shooting our engagement photos we were nervous and Kate was accommodating and encouraging helping us work through the nerves and getting the one special shot I wanted.
They also helped every step of the way when it came to advice for planning the wedding. We designed and planned everything ourselves without the help of a coordinator and or planner. She recommended vendors for us, which resulted in the best team of people we could have trusted.
On our wedding day, Kate and Josh both were professional, quick and creative when it came to getting the shots on our list. They also managed to capture the emotion of the first look, vows and all the details that were special! They were there the moment Erin walked in and saw her vision alive and twinkling for the first time! In addition, they were everything you would need in a friend, confidant, and problem solver. We can’t stop looking at our photos!
We HIGHLY recommend GSquared Weddings!! Kate and Josh are absolutely amazing and our wedding photos are breath taking!! Like something out of a magazine, capturing all the love and...
happiness on our wedding day!
Kate has been nothing but helpful, patient and more than anything a friend! She has helped us from the beginning to the end from ideas on attire for our engagement session, to vendors, our timeline, and all of her support and most importantly how AMAZNG of a photographer Kate is!!!
Thank you GSquared Weddings for capturing our forever lasting memories from the best day of our lives!

ides "sneak peeks" of the photos the night of your engagement/wedding, which was wonderful! We loved having access to a handful of our engagement photos so we could get rolling on save the dates and other wedding stuff!
On the day of our wedding, I was so nervous and being a hands-on person for project planning, it was making me more anxious not being able to help do busy work to get things done. When Kate arrived at the venue, she immediately made sure I was comfortable and had water, then made sure my bridesmaids, groomsmen and even the staff the venue provided were busy getting things done and getting the venue ready. She did an excellent job keeping everyone moving while making sure to get all the photos of the process. She helped bustle my dress numerous times (it kept coming undone) and probably my FAVORITE part, once we got to the wedding, she knew I really just wanted a beer. At first I was told we didn't have the type of beer I'd requested (no big deal, I took the other beer I knew was there). She brought me the beer, then when she realized my bartender DID have the original beer I requested, she immediately brought it to me, then made sure I never ran out while keeping tabs on how I was feeling. It was like having a photographer, coordinator, mom and best friend all in one package making sure everything went perfectly.
Her helpful hints made it so much easier for my husband and I to be able to enjoy our day, and I knew Kate was watching out for us while getting quality photographs every step of the way. THANK YOU, KATE!

e and beyond what we expected. Not only did we get wonderful photography, but I received help with my timeline, they took the time to meet us for drinks before the wedding to discuss everything that we were looking for, we got hints and tips about basic wedding etiquette that we had questions about, and the most amazing part, they went the extra mile and stayed with us on our wedding day so that our dream could be played out in their photography. There is no possible way that we can thank them enough for what they did. I get to relive my wedding day with the beautiful photos and moments that they captured. There are no words to describe that feeling.

th a few other sleaze bag photographers who did not respond to emails and were just unpleasant to be around -- it was such a breath of fresh air to find GSquared!
Your wedding photographers are going to spend a lot of time with you the day of the wedding -- so you have to find someone you mesh well with. Both Kate and Josh are so easy to work with, and always are striving to achieve the vision of the bride and groom. I must say, I could not have imagined more perfect wedding photos.
My guests commented that they were 'invisible' the day of the wedding -- which is so perfect, because I hate in your face photographers. They caught such natural images of interaction at our wedding, did their homework about our vision of the wedding, and were personable and professional to boot.
When showing a co-worker my photos she said 'I wish I could get married again so that I can use your photographer, I have never seen such beautiful photos'. I think that pretty much sums it up. Kate and Josh are the best.
