Grey Spoon Photography

nt and daunting task, but Kelsey stood out for several reasons. Her website is filled with helpful information about her and her offerings, and she does an amazing job helping potential clients get a feeling for her style. In looking through her galleries, we were impressed not only with the beauty of her photos, but with how she captured the intimate moments and details between a couple. You could see each couples uniqueness in every shot! Kelsey was very easy going and super communicative throughout the entire process, and she was extremely adaptable when we had to postpone our original wedding in 2020 due to Covid. She replied to all emails promptly and made herself available whenever things came up. During our initial chat she really wanted to get to know Chris and I, which allowed me to build a great rapport with her. One of the best parts was actually getting to meet her for our engagement shoot. Her and her step stool are so cute and unforgettable! Our wedding day was perfection. Kelsey and her second shooter (her husband Tyler) were there for us every step of the way. They alternated between going off on their own separate ways to capture details, and directing us and our wedding party to get the greatest shots ever. We took a lot of our photos prior to the ceremony and focused on family and fun after the ceremony. Kelsey and Tyler both moved seamlessly throughout the grounds all day to find the perfect spots to take photos, always taking the natural light into consideration. Although the day was extremely busy and filled with photo ops, somehow it didn’t feel like we were constantly posing for photos or even feel like we were being pulled away that often. Our gallery of 500+ photos definitely tells a different, amazing story! Our wedding gallery is filled with one stunning photo after another, and to be honest it has been SO difficult to pick our favorites. We received a sneak peak only days after the celebration, and Kelsey set expectations on the timing of the full gallery as well. Her editing is fantastic and she captured so much beautiful light throughout the day! There was such variety in poses, landscape, buildings, etc. Looking through them never fails to bring me to (happy!) tears. We can’t say enough great things about Kelsey and Tyler and would recommend them to anyone looking to capture ANY important milestones in life. Not only will you have the most amazing, easy going time with them – but your images will be the highest quality and something to cherish for years to come.

kept remarking to my husband that it didn't feel like we were working with strangers at all but as if we were taking photos with our closest friends. I could not recommend her more highly. They were with us every step of the way, instructing us on sweet poses but also capturing those precious candid moments. Thank you so much Kelsey and crew you were so, so wonderful and I hope we have another big reason to work with you all in the future!

at she does. She appreciates all of her clients and it shows! And her work is stunning and timeless!!!

credibly flexible and accommodating throughout the process. She was always quick to respond and easy to work with and comfortable to be around. Our photos turned out AMAZING, truly beautiful. We could not be happier!! Highly recommend Kelsey and her husband.

bove and beyond and reached out to us when she found out our initial venue had went bankrupt even before the venue notified us, going as far as sending us links to resources in the wedding event community. This is the type of attention and thoughtfulness that makes a good vendor a great one, and for that we are forever grateful. Day of the wedding, her and her husband Tyler were organized and professional without coming off as standoffish or task-maskers. They got us the shots we were hoping for going in, and came up with ones we never thought of. We highly recommend Grey Spoon Photography to anybody looking for a wedding photographer and urge you to check them out.

oth her and Tyler at our wedding resulted in amazing photos that really captured our special day and are so fun to look through on a regular basis! We highly recommend Grey Spoon Photography!

ment shoot and wedding day photos so much fun! We love all the pictures we got back and love how they really captured the candid fun energy of our wedding day! We cannot say enough wonderful things about them!

r anyone better! Kelsey is so good about being on time and keeping things organized on a day as crazy as a wedding day! :) We can't thank them both enough for everything and are VERY eager to see our wedding photos! I would definitely recommend everyone to use Grey Spoon Photography and definitely will be using them again in the future! Thanks again!

e! There were no awkward poses, we laughed, Kelsey was not only professional but a friend, even though I’ve never personally met her before. We feel that’s what a good photographer should be like! I would definitely recommend Kelsey to any of my friends with weddings coming up. She flew out to NY, we had a bunch of laughs, danced, cried and took some amazing pictures.

sey had all our details covered and had even thought of things we hadn't. Kelsey and her husband were also always a step ahead of us when it came to taking pictures the day of our wedding, which was amazing. It came to a point where I could just enjoy myself and not worry about coordinating our HUGE wedding party, because they had everything covered. As for the pictures, they are beautiful and speak for themselves! We highly recommend Kelsey!

ome cute photos of our super energetic puppy(who was not having it). Our wedding photos turned out perfectly! Kelsey and Tyler were both so easy to work with and helped make the day run smoothly. I would highly recommend Grey Spoon Photography!

ime!!! I told my husband we need to do that every year for our anniversary. I only hope she'll have availability for us, since shell be in high-demand! I really love how she explains well how to look to make some more nature pictures and also posed pictures- since we aren't processional models and getting your picture taken can make you feel awkward this is so so important. I joke that she had to teach my husband how to nuzzle! She has such an eye for those breath-taking shots and really makes the whole experience fun, and loves to travel/is willing to travel for her clients. I would highly recommend her to anyone and everyone.

nsidering using greyspoon DO IT! You wont be disappointed.

onsin weather. My husband is super finicky about photos and she made it as painless as possible for him. I highly recommend and would 10/10 use in the future!

we were shivering and turning purple!) She stays in constant communication throughout the wedding planning process, and I love that she posts her sneak peeks all over Instagram & Facebook! The day of the wedding Kelsey & her husband Tyler were so wonderful to work with! They were so much fun, didn't get annoyed with our rowdy crew, were great at keeping us on track and on schedule, and captured some of my favorite memories that I didn't even know happened! They were one of the best decisions I made when planning my wedding- other than marrying my husband! ;) You won't regret going with them!

e has a really great vision!

added bonus has been consistent and attentive communication before and since the wedding. Kelsey has an eye for capturing fun and intimate moments that every couple wants, while having a friendly smile on her face that makes you feel like you have known her since first grade that makes the engagement shoot and wedding day so fun. 10/10 recommend to anyone on the fence or anyone looking for one of the best in Wisconsin!

ns about the style of photos we were looking for and then planned out exactly where we should go close to our venue. She was super accommodating when we made a pit stop at our fav bar and added an extra hour to our because our reception timeline was running behind. On top of that, the pictures are beautiful, natural, and candid just like we were hoping!

t super comfortable on our special day because of them, they were a blast to work with. The price is absolutely unheard of. You will not find a better deal with a couple so talented. We also got our engagement and wedding pictures back much more quickly than expected. When we received our USB it was it the cutest box and arrangement ever-give them a shot and see for yourself. :)

tion was always very prompt, and we really appreciated that. She has so many great ideas for pictures, and we had fun taking pictures with her. (One of our favorites is in a floral nook in the arboretum - so pretty!) Her husband is her second shooter, and it was great to have them both there capturing different angles. We received a lot of candid photos, and some of those pictures are our favorites. When looking for a photographer, I looked at so many pictures and liked Kelsey's style best. We LOVE our wedding and engagement photos, and are so glad we found Grey Spoon Photography. Kelsey was by far our favorite vendor we worked with for our wedding, and if I could give her more than 5 stars I would!

tured so many little moments on camera that you just can't plan and that's what makes their photography so special. They go above and beyond just your typical list of wedding photos and give you memories instead. I am so glad they were there on our wedding day to capture our moments. We've had our pictures for weeks now and we can't decide which ones to get printed! Thank you Kelly and Tyler!

o work with but organized and keep on track at the same time. We loved every part of our wedding day and they captured it perfectly! We couldnt have asked for a better duo for our day! Thank you so much!

. Her clear communication, attention to detail, and flexibility were just some of the qualities we appreciated about her. We love her use of social media to share her works of art and we literally cheer each and every time she posts another sneak peak from our wedding! Every picture captures a beautiful and candid moment that brings the happiest and most grateful tears to our eyes. All we can say is TRUST HER! She has an amazing ability to make the most beautiful photos out of what may seem like a potentially ugly backdrop/weather situation. Booking Kelsey for our wedding photographer was the best decision we made and we will definitely keep her in our repertoire for future photo-worthy occasions (we owe her a few puppy photos someday).

of their work. My fiance and I had a short engagement and Kelsey was prompt in responding to all my (crazy) emails, working on timeline & overall just calming any fears or anxiety I had about the day. Our photos turned out beautifully & Kelsey does a great job of talking you through different poses, while also capturing amazing (!) candids. We received many compliments on how sweet & kind both Kelsey & Tyler were the day of the wedding, and that further solidified that we not only made a good choice in photographers but also people who genuinely care about their clients. We are so happy with the final product & cannot recommend Grey Spoon enough!

mera doesn’t come naturally to everyone, and I was worried that it could easily be a stressful or awkward experience. But Kelsey took away any concerns I had! She puts you at ease and has a relaxed, easygoing way about her that helped to keep me calm as well, even after a full 8 hours of wedding day photography! Our pictures are absolutely gorgeous, and she captured some of the most beautiful candid moments throughout the day that I will forever cherish. And her sunset photos are to die for! So thankful to have such a talented team with us on our big day and would not change a thing!

turned out AMAZING! Everyone who's seen our photos has complimented us on how well they turned out. We are so happy we went with Grey Spoon Photography and would recommend to anyone!

sey. Our engagement pictures turned out amazing, and continued to work around schedules as we needed to reschedule them after mother nature did not cooperate multiple times. The day of the wedding, she was amazing. I have not received all of my pictures back yet, but every single sneak peak that has been posted is just as amazing the one prior.

ete professionals with open and honest communication, punctuality, and high-quality photography. They are incredibly kind and we could tell that this was their passion. We appreciated their creativity with the photos, capturing fun candids and artistic portraits! The beautiful box that holds the USB of all of of our photos is an awesome keepsake! It shows the dedication that they have in their work and towards their customers! We would highly recommend their services to everyone!

ighted she was open and able to work with us. She was extremely easy to work with and gave us suggestions along the way. She was prepared, organized, and asked us questions well in advanced. She made the planning process effortless from my end. Even when it started to rain while we were taking photos outside, or when the groomsmen were late to get to the church, she remained calm and helped keep me calm! She is very reasonably priced for the quality of photos and service she gives to her clients. I will definitely be using her again for any future family photos we need!

comfortable and relaxed. Nick and I were quite anxious before the shoot, but Kelsey and Tyler were great and we were so pleased with our engagement gallery. On our big day, Kelsey and Tyler kept our day on schedule and captured the most beautiful photos. I have not yet even seen our whole gallery, but the previews have taken my breath away. We are so fortunate to have worked with Kelsey and Tyler. They exceeded our expectations and have become friends throughout our wedding process. I would highly recommend this awesome duo. They will capture your wedding moments and selecting them was one of the best decisions we made throughout our wedding planning process. Thank you again, Kelsey and Tyler! We are so appreciative of your hard work to photograph the best day of our lives.

photos, and I could not be more thrilled with how everything turned out! To begin with, Kelsey is one of the sweetest, friendliest, and most down to earth people you will meet. When we first met for our engagement shoot I was nervous because I had no idea how to pose or position myself, and I was going to be spending the next hour or two with a complete stranger. Kelsey's friendly and professional demeanor immediately put me at ease, and I felt very comfortable with the directions she was giving. She was so friendly and it meant so much to me that she took the time to really get to know my fiance and I during our shoot. At that time I knew we picked a great photographer. I didn't have a whole lot of help planning my wedding, and I really appreciated Kelsey's guidance throughout the whole process. She even sent my husband and I something through the mail to congratulate us on our engagement, which was a very thoughtful touch. She was very professional, organized, and quickly responded to any questions I asked. I found her website and online planning questionnaires very easy to use. Additionally, I felt her prices were very reasonable compared to what else is out there. We did look at some cheaper photographers who did fine work, but I felt they did not capture the warmth and details like what I saw in Kelsey's portfolio. I feel that her prices are a good bargain for the quality of photos she delivers. I could go on and on about how happy I am with Grey Spoon Photography, but I think you should check out the website for yourself (especially the sunset pictures--to die for!). I could not be happier with how well our engagement and wedding photos turned out. If I settle down in this area I plan to use Kelsey for photo shoots in the future. Seriously, check this girl out--you will not be disappointed!

ception in August. We loved loved loved our pictures from December and I cannot stop looking at our sneak peaks from this weekend!

d. When I couldn't be there to physically look for locations to shoot pictures, she researched everything for me in advance. When we needed to make changes to our photo list last minute, she was totally fine with it! She dealt with my crazy family and their requests like a pro. I cannot wait to see all of the photos.

those moments forever captured in such a breathtaking way. Hire her, trust her! She knows how to get those shots you'll never want to stop sharing!

sion, which turned out stunning! It captured both our personalities, it was unique, and of course we got to eat s'mores. When it came time for our wedding in January, she worked so well with us despite the cold. Kelsey and her Hubby were extremely helpful and attentive the entire day making sure every picture we had in mind was taken. In end it was stress free and when our photos arrived it was in a beautiful package. I couldn't have asked for a better option and would recommend Kelsey to anyone else needing a photographer!

I appreciated that because we want to see the pictures we are so excited about :)

ow to take photos in not-so-ideal weather, to her candids she snuck as we got ready, to the wonderful images of our family and friends she captured at the reception help us relive our day over and over! Thank you so much!

we wanted. We loved how our pictures turned out and can't wait to look at them throughout the years.
