About this vendor

I am here to make sure that you look great, feel natural, and have thoughtful, distinctive images that allow you to remember your night. At my core, I am a natural caretaker, and I know how to put you, your family and your friends at ease so that you can enjoy your day while I capture everything around you. I am all about candid moments, the real ones, with an editorial flair. My shooting style is to be right there, inside the festivities, to photograph everything from the inside, the way you see it. No matter what your day has in store I will be there, ready to translate your memories into beautiful imagery.

Booking the right photographer was at the top of our priority list. Gretchen was enthusiastically referred to us and we quickly set up an in-person meeting. Gretchen’s personality ...

and positive energy is contagious. We knew that night she was who we wanted to photograph our special day. Gretchen proved to be the very best choice, time and time again, through two pandemic postponements and a 2.5 year engagement. When the big day finally arrived, she found a way to somehow make two brides each feel like the center of the show. We felt beautiful and special and honored to be working with Gretchen. Our sneak peek was ready in less than 24 hours and was everything we hoped for. I would recommend Gretchen Bell to anyone looking for beautiful, timeless, show-stopping photography and a boss of a photographer. She’s a gem. 10/10.

Gretchen's style, professionalism, and overall captivation is what sets her a part from other photographers. The instant I met with Gretchen at a local coffee shop, I knew that our...

spirits matched and that her creativity and eye were what I needed to capture my day in the light I wanted. Gretchen is the ultimate hype man and made my entire bridal party so comfortable. I never felt rushed while Gretchen attempted to wrangle my 20 person bridal party + family to get the shots I wanted. The best part is Gretchen delivers a sneak peek of your photos by the next day. I had pictures in my inbox before I even went to sleep! I would recommend Gretchen to everyone and anyone.

Gretchen Bell made my wedding experience perfect. I love her artistic expression and use of lighting. Not only does she do beautiful work and take gorgeous pictures, but she is als...

o a fantastic person to work with. I was so stressed out on the day of my engagement pictures that I literally started sobbing (it was bad). She texted me the most encouraging message and offered to hang out early before the shoot and get drinks with me to help me relax. On my wedding day she was so professional; she knew exactly how to take charge of the room and control the situation. Gretchen made such a positive impression on my wedding day, and I swear my life is better because I met her. If I could give her a 6/5 stars I wouldn’t think twice!! Hire her.

Gretchen is awesome! She photographed our wedding in May and the pictures are stunning! She was so much fun to work with and got some really creative shots that we love! She was ...

thorough, professional, had a great energy - and we got the photos back really quickly. We would definitely recommend her as an amazing photographer!

I was in a wedding a few years ago and Gretchen was her photographer. We loved her work so much, that I ended up booking her for some family photos for my brother and she’s booked ...

to do my wedding in just a few weeks. Gretchen is thoughtful, her attention to detail is stellar, she’s warm and so easy to work with, it makes being in front of the camera less daunting. Some of my favorite photos in my life have been shot by her, and I’m excited to add to that collection in a few weeks!

Gretchen is amazing! My husband and I booked her for our engagement and wedding photos. She is so friendly and easy to work with. She instantly made us feel comfortable and excited...

about getting our photos taken. Booking Gretchen was one of the best decisions that we made for our wedding. She is so easy to communicate with and really accommodating. Gretchen was the one vendor that I never had to worry about. During and after my wedding, all of my family and friends kept telling me how wonderful our photographers were. Gretchen and Chris are so friendly and professional. They both went above and beyond to photograph our day. Gretchen turned around the photos so quickly and they are turned out better than I could've imagined. I don't know how I'm going to chose which ones to print and put in an album.

When our photographer called with glee to tell us that he booked Gretchen as the second photographer for our wedding, we knew she had to be someone very special. From the first me...

eting with Gretchen, she made us feel like lifelong friends (and we hope to become that!!). We loved having her be a part of our day because she meshed so well with us, our families, and our wedding party. It’s also so evident how much she loves being a wedding photographer. It didn’t seem like she was at “work”; she seemed to truly enjoy the day with us, which in turn put us at ease in front of the lens. Aside from being a wonderful person to be around on your wedding day, Gretchen is just a fantastic photographer. Your wedding is an incredibly intimate day and one of Gretchen’s greatest strengths as a photographer is capturing the rollercoaster of emotions in her images. It’s going to be hard deciding which photographs to frame/put in an album because they are all gorgeous. We can’t thank Gretchen enough for giving us the gift of her photography. BOOK HER!

My brother suggested Gretchen after we found a candid picture she had taken of another bride. I liked her style and set up a meeting to get to know her. Gretchen was the best decis...

ion we made in our wedding planning process. Gretchen is professional, easy to get along with, and creative. She is a master in communication. She often would remind me of tasks to help me with the planning process, answer texts/calls quickly, and was very clear in what to expect from her. When you're planning a wedding, communication is a huge deal and she absolutely nailed it. She also made me, my husband, and all of our crazy friends feel comfortable and kept us laughing. Everyone was impressed with her and a couple of my bridesmaids have booked newborn pictures with her based on their experience at our wedding. We woke up with a preview of pictures from the night beore, a week later we had about 50 more pictures, and then all of them 1,000+ before Christmas to send to family for gifts. She's honestly the best and I don't feel like I can even explain all of it in words. Check out her pictures, they speak volumes to what I've said here.

ve for Gretchen multiplied times 100. I was so nervous and stressed a few days leading up to taking photos, but Gretchen was so easy to work with - the nerves were gone as soon as we started the session. We are so happy with the photos. So, so happy. I cannot even wait to see how our wedding photos turn out.
