Holds ceremonies and receptions
We could not have picked a better reception venue than the GCC, hands down. Jeanette, Bonnie, and the entire crew were nothing short of amazing and so much FUN to work with! Every single detail was taken care of seamlessly and we truly wish we could re-do the night all over again exactly as is because it was just perfect. Would 11/10 recommend having your wedding reception, or any event here!!
The team at GCC were amazing to work with and helped with every special details of the rehearsal dinner and party to make it a dream for our bride and groom.

Whether you are planning an intimate gathering with your family and closest friends or a lavish wedding celebration for several hundred, Greenwood Country Club in Greenwood, SC, will be a perfect venue for your occasion. Tie the knot in one of the oldest country clubs in the US. Founded in 1927, the venue was designed by legendary golf course architect George Cobb. It is both challenging for golfers and provides a picture-perfect backdrop for your nuptials.
Our beautiful facility with elegant interiors and panoramic views is the ideal stage for creating an unforgettable life event experience. There are multiple spaces to celebrate this new chapter in your life. Choose from the Cedar Room and Lodge Room, two of the smaller spaces perfect for a more intimate gathering, while the Garden Room and Grill Room are more spacious with a royal-themed charm. The Main Dining room is the largest space and can accommodate up to 100 guests for a traditional seated banquet. Greenwood Country Club can also facilitate a marquee outdoors and enjoy the beautiful surrounding landscape.
Events at the Greenwood Country Club are made even more memorable with wonderful service provided by our warm, friendly staff, who will aim to exceed your expectations. Couples will also have access to a wide range of facilities and services. You will have full use of the grounds, furniture, spaces, and audiovisual equipment.
