About this vendor
We call ourselves GreenSinner because we aren’t green saints. And we do things a little differently here. We’re part florists, part artists, part design house, part experience makers. It’s not about the flowers; it’s about the people! We thrive on creating memories, and just happen to do it with fresh blooms.
Everything that leaves our shop reflects the client it is for. All of our work is completely custom and personalized. Your wedding day should be reflective of you and 100% unique. We love when someone says, “I’ve never seen anything like that before!”
Environmentally friendly is how we roll. We source as many materials & plants as we can in a 500-mile radius of Pittsburgh. We also focus on using vintage or re-purposed containers and event decor and sustainable practices.

We had an incredible experience working with greenSinner for our wedding. Katlyn was so accommodating of both our woodsy, whimsical vision and our budget, and she brought everythin...
g together more beautifully and creatively than we could have imagined. Communication was excellent throughout; we felt completely supported by her degree of check-ins. Katlyn is a true visionary and was also such a joy to work with-- we had some outstanding vendors, and greenSinner was easily our favorite vendor experience. We cannot recommend them enough!!!
Odd experience with Katlyn... she basically ghosted us and never responded to emails.
At first everything seemed great! Her first set of inspiration photos was really cool, but not...
quite what we were looking for. So we sort of started from scratch and she seemed excited to try again. Many of our emails went unanswered, but she later responded and said she had some health concerns and so wasn't able to answer email, but was doing better now.
Take 2 was much closer to what we were looking for. We actually met her in person at the shop in Pittsburgh (we live in Ca) to discuss it. There were a couple of suggestions/requests we had to modify the plan. Again she seemed on board - super friendly and helpful, even offered to help out extra with non-floral design (plates, chairs, etc.). At this point, we absolutely loved her! She had a lot of unique ideas. However, after this meeting she never responded to our emails.
Months went by and many emails were sent. In my last email to her, I asked fairly simply for her to just let us know if she still wanted to/was able to work with us, and that we would understand if she felt like we weren't a good fit or if she was too busy. I wrote that if I didn't hear back from her, we would assume that she wasn't going to be able to work with us. We had not paid her a cent (nor been asked to) at this point, but she had clearly put in a good amount of work preparing ideas and slides and meeting with us and such. So we were really surprised to not hear anything back from her. But about 1.5 months later without any response, we still hadn't heard back so we moved on to a different florist.
What an odd experience! Great ideas, but not reliable (or maybe she is reliable if she likes you? I really have no idea, we never got any feedback from her!).
We selected greenSinner as the florist for our wedding because of their sustainable practices. They provided bridal and bridesmaid bouquets, boutonnieres, flower hair pieces, and r...
eception centerpieces. Jimmy and Katlyn have a great sense of humor and helped inspire some creative additions to our big day. Katlyn was very accommodating when it came to last minute changes and had very helpful suggestions for everything ranging from our chuppah setup to cost saving techniques for the centerpieces. The flowers were seasonal and sustainable, so it was difficult to predict the exact color palette they would be, but they turned out absolutely beautiful. We were so pleased with the bouquet that we had it preserved!
GreenSinner exceeded all of our expectations by a mile! They took our vision and turned it into the most stunning reality. My bouquet was so unique and got so many compliments! The...
y created the most epic backdrop for our ceremony and when we asked for a statement piece to welcome people into the party, they delivered. The team is helpful, fun, so easy to work with, and they are truly artists. If you want your flowers to make a statement on your big day - they're simply the best!
I honestly don’t even know where to begin with GreenSinner. Jimmy and his team are visionaries. After approximately 1 zoom meeting, they made my dreams, that I didn’t even know I h...
ad, come to life!! If you’re anything like me and my husband - very laid back, very bad decision makers - do yourself a favor and hire greensinner and watch their creative minds put your not so creative minds at ease. Did I mention they completely transformed a home that had never been used for an event? With a hookah lounge..... separated by a hanging tulip wall? Also they were VERY personable, punctual, and professional.
Jimmy and his team turned the Pennsylvanian into a magical, indoor park for our wedding day that was more amazing than anything I could have ever imagined. With the pandemic, we sw...
itched our venue less than two months before the wedding, which completely changed the vision and plan for the flowers and Jimmy and his team still made magic. They made this amazing flower cart that our guests had so much fun with- making bouquets, wearing flower crowns and flower rings, etc. They brought in trees and a fountain and truly transformed an already beautiful space into something even more beautiful. My bouquet was also incredible. We loved working with GreenSinner and we really can't speak highly enough about their amazing creativity, wonderful personalities and the incredible job they did with our wedding.
Jimmy and the greensinner team were absolutely wonderful to work with and helped us in so many ways throughout replanning our wedding during Covid. Everything was so beautiful and ...
they truly did an amazing job to help us create a dreamy day. The flowers were of course gorgeous, but what sets them apart is their sincere interest in helping you curate a thoughtful and memorable day. They made the very stressful process of planning & replanning a breeze and we had no worries on the day of our wedding thanks to their team!
When we started planning our wedding, I struggled with the idea of spending money on flowers...but I can confidently say that hiring Jimmy & the GreenSinner team was one of the bes...
t decisions that we made. The flowers were stunning - but frankly, I'm sure others could have provided pretty flowers. What sets Jimmy apart is his dedication to making the whole day exactly what you want it to be. When we met with him, he asked my husband and I questions about how the day would flow and the atmosphere and environment we wanted to have, and then provided incredibly helpful suggestions for things to consider far outside the realm of flowers (e.g., not using individual placecards for an outdoor wedding because they'll blow away - little things, but they make a difference). When we needed to adjust our plan because of COVID, there were no issues. When we realized we didn't have table numbers, Jimmy & team had our back. The day of the wedding, Jimmy worked hand in hand with our day of coordinator and made magic happen in my parents backyard. I cannot say emphatically enough how much we recommend hiring the GreenSinner team!

tion looked like heaven, it was gorgeous. I highly recommend getting your bouquet preserved after because you will not want to part with it after! They also made a flower collar for our family dog!
I can’t compliment Jimmy enough. He’s an absolute gem, who comes up with the most beautiful color combinations. This ship is among the most popular in Pittsburgh for a reason. Peop...
le are raving about the centerpieces (which they got to take home), and my bouquet couldn’t have been any more perfect. Even when some of the special-ordered flowers didn’t open in time for our wedding, Jimmy brought them along for guests to take home and I now have gorgeous lilies in my living room. These guys are the best. Jimmy is a rockstar. I can’t wait for my photos to come in so I can gush over these flowers again.
Jimmy and his team were the absolute best!! Their work brought me to tears from the boutiques, to different centerpieces, and my favorite the sweetheart table!! It was truly breath...
taking. Wedding planning can be very stressful but Jimmy was such a calming element and made it so enjoyable. Everytime we walked out from seeing him he had us laughing. He was able to understand exactly what we wanted and add his own creative touches. He was so helpful and gave honest opinions. If you are looking for the best in Pittsburgh look no further, it is without a doubt Greensinner!!
Our wedding was October 19, 2019 at the Fox Chapel Golf Club in Pittsburgh, PA. Jimmy and his entire team absolutely stunned us with their creativity and ability to make an already...
gorgeous venue somehow look even MORE incredible! Jimmy and the staff at GreenSinner were quick to respond to our initial inquiries when we were searching for florists, and when we met for an initial consultation, we knew we weren’t going to look anywhere else! We had an absolute blast meeting him at the studio; we had a relaxed and fun time chatting about our vision for our wedding, and we just knew they were the people for us. We didn’t have an exact idea of the type or style of flowers we wanted, but by providing Jimmy and his team with photos of color schemes and things we liked, they made our dreams come to life! Throughout the entire process, Jamie was quick and always so kind when responding to emails with any questions we had. They took any worries we had away as far as getting everything set up the day of the wedding; we didn’t have to even think about anything! They had the flowers for the bridal party promptly delivered to the venue. I was head over heels IN LOVE with my bouquet! Most importantly, I had a necklace my grandma had given me that I wanted incorporated somehow into my bouquet. When I picked up my bouquet for the first time, I saw my grandma’s necklace beautifully interwoven, so I could have her with me when I walked down the aisle. I cannot thank Jimmy and the team at GreenSinner enough for their talent and hard work at making our venue even more perfect for us on the best day of our lives! I highly recommend GreenSinner for the flowers of your dreams!

ations! Our moms are still raving about their corsages. I also appreciate that each member of the GreenSinner team that we interacted with was so kind and personable. Thank you GreenSinner for taking our wedding decor to the next level!

t nothing But the best for their clients. They go above and beyond to make their clients happy! They blew our wedding out of the park. I will never be able to thank them enough, it was that stunning. Guests were in awe! They said they had never seen anything like it!! Neither had we!! My husband and I walked into the room and our jaws dropped! We were shocked!!! It was stunning. Hire greensinner and you WILL NOT be disappointed!!
We are so grateful that we got to work with greenSinner for our Wedding at Succop Nature Park. They executed our romantic, end of summer, bohemian floral vision better than we ever...
could have imagined. Their talent and creativity is unparalleled. The beauty they infused into our day was absolutely amazing and easily one of the favorite elements of our whole wedding.
In the months leading up to our wedding, I regularly corresponded with Jamie who was incredibly responsive, personable, and professional. She was so patient with all of my inquiries, adjustments, changes, and extensive floral inspiration images.
When it came to the day of our wedding, greenSinner went above and beyond. All of our floral elements were truly a dream. My bouquet was stunning--guests kept commenting on the arrangement and the captivating king of protea that it featured. The greenSinner team beautifully styled loose stems in the vintage amber glassware we provided, assembled showstopping aisle markers with pampas grass, put up a lovely floral spray on the archway of venue, and provided touches of greenery throughout the house on property to create dreamy and cohesive floral experience for our day.
Thank you so much for being such a big part of decor and our day!
Working with Jimmy and the entire team at GreenSinner is unlike anything I have ever experienced before. So creative. So friendly. So exciting. There was never a moment in the enti...
re planning process that I ever doubted the ideas and visions they had for my wedding day. I put a lot of trust in GreenSinner to create a dreamy, rustic/elegant look and all I can say is WOW. They completely exceeded any of the expectations I had. Everyone was so helpful, professional and responsive throughout the entire planning process. Selecting GreenSinner to be a part of my dream team of vendors was one of the best decisions I have ever made. I can't thank you all for everything you did to make my wedding day a dream!
Jimmy and his team at greenSinner were an absolute dream to work with. I found them after getting a recommendation from a friend. Before I talked with them, I had actually tried ...
a few other florists, none of whom were willing to do a wedding on Mother’s Day weekend! When I reached out to a greenSinner, they were more than willing to help us. Looking back, I’m so glad that the other florists had declined! Jimmy and his team put together an amazing floral proposal for me, and their vision was everything I had in my head and hadn’t been able to articulate. My bouquet was stunning, and very unique. They put together very traditional, but beautiful, centerpieces for half of our tables, and then on the other half, used terra cotta potted plants and candles to create a casually elegant look. They were very responsive to all of our requests, and helped with a lot of planning questions along the way. I cannot recommend them enough!
Green sinner is incredible. They made our wedding even more beautiful that I could imagine. I trusted their vision and they out did themselves. They are professional, kind, funny, ...
experts in their field, and all around amazing people! If you want your wedding flowers to turn out amazing, use greensinner. You will not regret it. Thank you Jimmy, Jaime, and team for everything.

fessional, and easy to work with. They really take the time to understand your vision and the space and make it so much more than you could imagine. They think of everything that will impact your and your guests experience of the day and make it perfect. This genuinely goes beyond flowers. They have an incredible ability to transform spaces and set moods. I cannot recommend them enough.
Working with greenSinner was truly a pleasure. (My husband says it was "epic"!) Jimmy and his team make beautiful things. They also really took the time to understand our tastes ...
and what we wanted in the decor, while providing perfect recommendations when I wasn't sure how to answer some of their questions. I adored my bouquet, the centerpieces were all gorgeous and slightly different, and they made a kickass asymmetrical flower sculpture on the fireplace to frame our nontraditional "altar." They truly went above and beyond to help decorate our venue when there were some unanticipated issues with the venue itself - and guests were none the wiser because it looked so great!
The greenSinner team was a pleasure to work with for our wedding! The team prepared a proposal quickly and it was exactly what we wanted, at a price we were happy with. Their work ...
is uniquely creative and sure to meet your expectations whether simple or extravagant. We were completely happy with their services!

ding decor would look like and they took it and made my bouquet 500x better than I had imagined. My flowers were stunning and so unique. People still talk to me about my bouquet. It was such a dream. I can't recommend Green Sinner enough.

d how I wanted greenery, minimal flowers, classic lines, and modern gold/copper accents. I let him run with it. He got me and he got my vision. It was perfect.

ts and and boutonnieres in October of 2017 and they were supposed to arrive around June 1, 2018. On June 30th I realized the flowers were never coming because the business no longer existed. I emailed the GreenSinner shortly after finding this out and luckily they still had an opening for our September wedding date. After talking with them they made me feel so much better about the situation. At this point I really didn't know what flowers to get so I really only picked one flower out and describe what I liked. They did an amazing job of picking out flowers with interesting textures and colors that ended up being perfect for our wedding. I wish I would have found the GreenSinner from the start because they were great to work with and so helpful throughout the entire process. I would definitely recommend them to anyone getting married in Pittsburgh or an adjacent area.

eam was more than happy to work with us on having my bridal bouquet have a sword hilt base. The rigging they built to support the bouquet was amazing and looked perfect! The flowers included in our pieces were absolutely beautiful, unique, and exceeded every one of our expectations!!
LOVED working with Jimmy and Laura! They are such an incredibly team! Jimmys wild creativity is so exciting to work with. He's always coming up with really great innovative ideas....
Laura will email you back within seconds and takes very invasive notes of everything you so every meeting you pick up where you left off. If there is anything that you are not seeing eye to eye on they will make sure that they set up more meetings to further perfect every detail to your liking. I HIGHLY recommend working with this team!
Loved this team so much and of course especially Jimmy. He didn't stop until he understood what I wanted. My flowers were everything I wanted and more. I knew everything was going ...

ver. My flowers were gorgeous, succulents included, and my charms with all my guardian angels wrapped in my deceased paps tie were amazing. My grandmas corsage had my pap on it. They made every detail so perfect. And the price was amazing. I can't thank them enough for making something I was almost going to skip something so crucial to my vibes.
To say I'm obsessed with the greenSinner's work on our wedding day is a giant understatement. Jimmy called it - I ugly cried when I saw the reception room. The floral arrangement...
s were truly beyond my wildest dreams. Just about every wedding guest we had - including several men who do NOT normally notice things like flowers - commented how stunning everything was. If you want a florist who will take your wedding vision and then make it one million times better than you ever thought possible, you need to hire Jimmy and his team at the greenSinner. Oh, and on top of all of that, they are all the loveliest people who really make the sometimes overwhelming process of planning a wedding enjoyable again. Thank you, thank you, thank you again! You all are artistic geniuses!!

Jimmy and the team at Green Sinner were absolutely fantastic and so much fun to work with...in addition to being amazingly creative and talented! From our first meeting, I realize...
d how focused he was on understanding our vision and understanding our background and style as a couple. Then, with minimal descriptions from me, he was able to make the vision a reality! He was very accessible during planning and made every planning meeting a blast - helpful during stressful planning times! He and his team made sure every personal touch (including about 100 pictures to be framed) got incorporated into the wedding, and they made the various centerpieces and welcome table for place cards gorgeous. On the wedding day, the bouquet were gorgeous, too! Both the girls and guys appreciated Jimmy and the team who brought flowers - definitely made everyone laugh! All of the passion and extra effort Jimmy puts into his work is so evident! If you want a unique, creative, and beautiful wedding, there is no choice but greenSinner!
Jimmy, Gladys and the whole rest of the team were a pleasure to work with through out. Not only were meetings productive but stress-free and even fun. Jimmy gave invaluable advice ...
on many aspects of the wedding - not just the florals and decor. He really understood what I wanted and graciously accommodated last minute adjustments.

am. They put up with my long-winded emails and went out of their way to be helpful after I moved out-of-state during the planning process.
We had a a New Orleans French Quarter inspired theme, and Jimmy knew exactly what to do with that theme without being over-the-top. Everything from the ceremony flowers to the reception looked perfectly designed and arranged. I went a little overboard on Pintrest projects, which were a good idea in theory but not so much in execution, and Jimmy was able to take all that stuff and make it look like it belonged!
I would especially recommend them if you're doing something a little outside the box, as opposed to run of the mill centerpieces (which they are, of course, also more than capable of.) The team is very creative and has a lot of cool/unique stuff they can incorporate into your decor!
I'm so happy I chose greenSinner as my wedding florist! Jimmy, Rose, Gladys, and Tamra were awesome to work with. Jimmy is hilarious - and made the planning meetings entertaining a...
nd fun! I just gave them some photos and a general vision and then let the team go with it and I couldn't be happier with the outcome! My flowers and centerpieces were beyond gorgeous and more than I could have dreamed of!! Definitely recommend GS to anyone planning their wedding now! They are amazing! :)
Jimmy's work speaks for itself. I was blown away by the flowers and decor- he's truly an artist. I would recommend him highly, he's the best of the best!

hen I saw the final product. The flowers were incredible, the decor was fabulous, and I cannot speak highly enough about the overall experience of working with Jimmy and the greenSinner team. In addition to flowers and decor, we worked with Tamra to plan, organize, and coordinate the day of our wedding and would have been lost without her! She was organized, fun, and incredibly helpful. Tamra's work made our day not only enjoyable and unforgettable, but stress free!
Jimmy is absolutely phenomenal!! His bouquet designs were exactly what I was looking for with minimal direction. All you have to do is give his a starting point and let him take ...
it from there. He created a beautiful birch archway for the ceremony that was absolutely amazing! I highly recommend GreenSinner to anyone! Thanks Jimmy!!!

t execution of my inspiration -- but Tamra and Jimmy were both a pleasure to work with and their positive, comforting attitudes were such a relief in what can be a really stressful process. I was an "out of town bride" and they were very responsive and accommodating to my schedule when I came in to town. I also thought their prices were exceptionally reasonable based on what you get from them, which includes Jimmy's creative vision, Tamra's industriousness, access to a number of "props" to make your flowers fit the overall look of your wedding, and perfect execution. My flowers were complemented over and over again, and they made me incredibly happy the day of the wedding. Highly recommend GreenSinner.
greenSinner recently did the flowers and rentals for our wedding at Succop Nature Park and they did an AMAZING job. They were incredibly easy to work with and really captured our v...
ision for our wedding day. We sat down with them a few times to go over wedding details and we communicated a bit via email. The communication with them was very easy and we felt like they had all the details under control. What we loved most about them is that we could trust them with the setup of the wedding. At Succop you are only allowed to set up the morning of the wedding and we knew that greenSinner would have everything handled. Also-- the flowers were incredible and exactly like the inspiration images we shared with them. greenSinner is fantastic and I would absolutely recommend them to anyone!

er. I told him a rough idea of what I liked, showed him some pictures and he made everything perfect. The only downfall to Jimmy is that he is a little disorganized. However, he told me this himself, up front and honest on day #1. I had to do a little bit of work to figure out prices, schedule meetings, etc. Really not a big deal in my book but I could see how some people planning a wedding might not be okay with that. He is really great at what he does and am confident that he will deliver perfection to you if you make your wants, needs and expectations clear.
All that I should need to tell you about this vendor is that for my Wizard of Oz theme wedding they created a)floral pop-up books featuring scenes from the original print version, ...
b)a card box that was a dollhouse in a tornado, c)a lollipop buffet and c)an amazing backdrop that guests are still talking about.
Not only are these flowers local and sustainable, but the creativity is truly maddening. I literally said "here are the elements I need and here's the basic palette" and they did the rest and did it magnificently. Guests actually went around and made sure to get photos of each different centerpiece. How many times does that happen?
The are completely willing to get creative in budget. And you will get the most amazing results if you give them creative freedom.
Jim and his crew are lovely to work with. I had a great time bouncing ideas off with him. The day of wedding was amazing and to see the beautiful arrangements they created was br...
eathtaking. Really, this is not a cookie-cutter florist. I will be using GreenSinner again in the future.

ey are a local, eco-conscience business, which is what initially attracted me to them (I loved the fact that not only did they have their own greenhouse but also that they have a huge collection of vintage/knick-knack/antique/grandma's-basement decor that we could rent for the occasion), but what hooked me was their enthusiasm for what they do. Throughout our wedding day, I had so many people tell me how much they could feel my husband's and my presence in the decor, and that, I feel, is a huge compliment to greenSinner. From the first time we met, I just knew that they understood what I wanted our wedding to be: classy and elegant yet casual and emotion-driven. They took my vision and made it a reality, and they did it so beautifully because they genuinely care about weddings and about their couples, and that is something truly unique. So thank you, greenSinner, for making the happiest day of our lives so exquisitely beautiful.
