Greenhouse is a farm-to-table and craft cocktail restaurant and private event venue in Old Town Bluffton, South Carolina, a short drive from Hilton Head Island. Sisters Melissa and Jenny opened Greenhouse in 2026, inspired by growing up in their family's restaurant, and they bring that same family-style hospitality to every event they host. With our kitchen and bar on site, your guests get restaurant-quality food and drinks without hiring a separate caterer.
Greenhouse is minutes from Church of the Cross and Old Town's ceremony venues, such as the Oyster Factory Park, Wright Park, and Martin Family Park.
Two distinct spaces, or the whole restaurant
The Main Dining Room is bright and full of greenery, with walls of windows, chandeliers, and green velvet chairs. It seats up to 80 guests for a seated dinner or holds 120 for a standing cocktail reception. Upstairs, the Speakeasy sets a moodier scene with leather booths, neon signs, and its own bar. It fits up to 44 guests and suits welcome parties, cocktail hours, and wedding after-parties. For a larger group, couples can reserve the entire restaurant.
Styling your event can be arranged with us directly rather than through a separate rental company, as we have rental furniture and decor for events.
Menus made for gathering
Our kitchen cooks everything from scratch with seasonal ingredients, and the menu is designed for sharing. That makes it a natural fit for a rehearsal dinner where two families sit down together for the first time. For bridal and baby showers, or a farewell brunch the morning after the wedding, we plan a brunch menu. We build every menu with you, and our team can accommodate food allergies and dietary needs. The bar can also create a signature cocktail or mocktail named for the couple or the parent-to-be.
We also cater to allergies, and have a dedicated gluten free kitchen.
