The only things that could have gone better were the salad we selected (I think maybe arugula must’ve been out of season this time of the year because the salad tasted a little off) and they forgot to save 2/3 appetizers for the groom and I. We also wish they could’ve left our entrees on the table for a bit longer so we could eat a more later on. I’m not sure how much was our venue and how much was Green Mill, but our guests drinks were cleared over and over again before they were finished, which was the most frustrating thing from the night. I would make sure to make a specific request that they don’t do this. If you opt for a plated dinner, you’ll have an option in the planning process to have the salads set out prior to the call to seating for dinner, but I would recommend waiting to serve it until the guests are seated because it made our guests sit down and start eating too early (during cocktail hour before dinner was announced). I would still recommend Green Mill, I just wanted to be completely transparent! Hopefully this was helpful for the bride-to-be’s out there!

venue has some pretty strict requirements, so we wanted a business that knew these things already! I was connected with Hillary, and she made the process so easy! Everything was very clear and the food was so tasty. The tasting was a breeze, and I love that they sent our leftovers home with us. The day of the wedding, they were on top of everything! No hiccups from what I could tell. They even made a few special plates for our guests that had food allergies (communicated this ahead of time). Our guests also commented that the bar service was spectacular (I don't drink :) ). Honestly, the experience was just so easy, and they took care of everything- highly recommend!

GM handled our food, dessert, bar, and late-night pizzas with the utmost professionalism. We are so grateful for them and cannot recommend them enough!

Both are very friendly, easy to work with, and super knowledgeable!!! The food was AMAZING, and our guests were definitely impressed!!! Many guests told us they LOVED the Chicken Piccata!!! The catering managers, staff and bartenders all exceeded our expectations and made sure everything went smoothly from our cocktail hour, to setting up our desserts, transitioning to the reception dinner, preparing for the arrival of Irish Dancers and getting our late night pizzas. Everything was perfect, and Green Mill did an excellent job!!! If you are looking for a wedding day caterer, I highly recommend Green Mill!!!!

our primary contacts, Sarah Carter and Katie Melland! Our questions were always answered very quickly, especially for being in the full bustle of the wedding season. The food was really delicious! We really loved the garlic butter that came with the bread. We also loved that they had a variety of napkin colors to suit our theme! We chose a buffet dinner, and it went very smoothly. I didn’t hear of any food running out. As for bar services, though I never approached the bar myself during the evening, everyone seemed to enjoy their drinks, and I didn’t hear about anything running out there, either. Our catering staff were also very kind to us and made sure that me and my new wife had everything we needed! We really liked working with them and recommend them for anybody in the Twin Cities metro who wants a good, customizable menu for their wedding day.

From the tasting with Sarah Carter to the final planning call with Brock Millsop all the way to wedding day it all turned out to be an amazing experience working with great and reliable people. We highly recommend Green Mill for catering as we had nothing but rave reviews from our friends and family about our food choices. Now being on the other side of the wedding that took place on July 20th, 2024 at Brookview Golden Valley it is such a relief to know we made the right choice. Lastly we did the Chicken Campielle (without the wild mushroom) and the Absolute Vodka Chicken Breast with a variety of sides for dinner and a few appetizers for cocktail hour. My one piece of advice is to work together as a couple to truly make it what you both want and like vs. what you think you have to do as far as food options! They kept me in the loop and were in constant communication all the way from our taste test to the end of the wedding day. On the actual day of the wedding, the staff were incredibly professional and the table settings were beautiful. THE FOOD WAS SO DELICIOUS. We got rave reviews from our wedding guests about dinner, specifically about the tortellini (although everything was amazing). I would HIGHLY recommend this catering company to anyone getting married. They will make your day seamless and sooo delicious. I was stress free about the food the whole wedding day and the catering lead that worked my event always made sure I was doing ok and continued asking me if I needed anything. Wonderful service!

On the day of the wedding, they waited until after our Grand Entrance to remove the tops to the buffet so our food remained hot. The Mac and cheese was a HUGE hit with the kids. I also appreciated how kind our staff was with clearing our plates and keeping the cupcakes and chocolate covered strawberries stocked for us! Definitely was the right choice for us and I would book them again in a heartbeat.

The lead did a great job of handling things but checking in every now and then for small thoughtful things like if my husband and I wanted appetizers saved for us at the head table. All our guests loved the food and we got compliments on literally every part of the meal (we did a buffet-style dinner), but at the same time they were more affordable compared to other options we looked into. I would highly recommend them based on our experience!

Most of the food arrived an hour late. Nobody from the catering team told us about this until we were ready to dismiss our guests to the buffet line. We had to check in with them a couple times over the next hour as the ETA was pushed back. But once it arrived the food was delicious! Definitely no complaints there. A month later we received a partial refund. In retrospect we wish we had gone with a different caterer.
