About this vendor
14 hours. That's the average time a bride has to take in every experience of her wedding day. In that window of time she is expected to have her hair and makeup done, dress on, pictures taken, walk down the aisle, greet every guest, and dance the night away.
Those 14 hours quickly feel like 14 minutes. You only get 1 wedding. We want to help you experience every bit of that 14 hour day.
Our job extends past pretty pictures and into wedding coaching. It may be your first wedding but it's not ours. Our brides know they can rely on us to hold their hand throughout the day (sometimes literally). Making sure they aren't left wondering, "What's next?" The only thing we want our brides focused on is saying "I Do" and celebrate the best day of their life.

Cedar Springs Pavilion highly recommends Green Couch Photography!
To say we are disappointed in Green Couch Photography is an understatement. My husband and I had originally chosen Green Couch because they seemed so down to Earth and we wanted so...
meone who could make us feel at ease on our big day. Unfortunately, we chose wrong. We learned the hard way that the “easy going” attitude extended beyond their demeanor when working with a client. In the year that we worked with them (setting up engagement photos, preparing for the wedding, wedding day, follow up, etc.), we had to reach out to them constantly to keep them on schedule and to hold them accountable. In the week leading up to the wedding, we had to reach out multiple times to have questions clarified and plans set in place. We did not end up hearing from them to go over final details until the day before our wedding (talk about stress considering many of our final plans revolved around the photographers and other vendors were trying to get final details). They did send us a questionnaire regarding wedding details, photo locations, “must have” photos, etc. prior to the wedding. While we do take responsibility for not specifically identifying some photo opportunities, we must say we are disappointed in some of the photos that were not taken/received that we assumed were pretty standard. For instance, we have no photos of my husband while I’m walking down the isle, no photos of me walking down the isle, no photos of the flower girl/ring bearer walking down the isle, no photos of the flower girl/ring bearer posed together or with the bride/groom or wedding party, no photos of bride/groom smiling at the camera, and so on. Maybe we’re being too picky, but I suppose we just assumed these to be “givens.” While most of the photos turned out well, they still seemed to be underwhelming.
I haven’t even mentioned how long it took us to actually receive any of our products. We watched many a person on social media (who married after me) rave about their “sneak peaks” of photos and their excitement for having received their photos before us. It took over 8 months and repeated email exchanges to finally receive our wedding video (again, eh). It really wasn’t until my parents got involved that they even began to make an effort. Even that included several weeks of emails going without responses. After being told our video would be at the “top of their list” it took another 2 months to actually receive the video. Our wedding was 1 year and 1 month ago and we STILL have not received our wedding album. We exchanged emails month after month to no avail, again some emails going unanswered. We finally received a link in August 2018 to view and make adjustments to an album (mind you, wedding was December of 2017). My edits were returned the day I received the email and it took another exchange of emails/phone calls and 2 months for any edits to be made. The link even allowed us to see any edits that were made on the album which showed the photo album had not been touched until 2 months had passed and we began to make demands (fancy that, the album was not edited until 2 hours after us making a stink). Another two months has passed since then and we have yet to receive an album. We couldn’t even reminisce with our wedding album on our 1 year anniversary.
I would recommend Zac & Chris every time as your wedding photographer! After the two shot my brother's wedding 2 years ago, using them was one of the easiest decisions we made. The...
two are energetic, flexible and knowledgeable, and I received so many compliments from both my wedding party and wedding guests on how easy they were to work with. On top of that, they captured our day perfectly and adjusted seamlessly when the weather did not cooperate. We love our photos and are so excited to have them to remember our day! Thank you!
Our wedding day would not have been the same without green couch! Zac and Chris are hilarious and really do go the extra mile with every detail. They are funny yet professional! Th...
ey were with us for almost 10 hours! They helped with all those little details that you might not remember and helped keep us on track during the day of. If there was anything out of place or of concern, they took it upon themselves to make sure that it was handled and we were comfortable and happy! They made sure we got every photo op that we wanted and didn’t know we wanted. Highly highly recommend these guys!
Green Couch exceeded our expectations and delivered exceptional photos of our ceremony and reception at Rhinegeist Brewery. They were experienced and knowledgeable which made the w...

e pictures would last the rest of our lives. However, since our first meeting with Zac and Chris over a year before our wedding, they made me feel such a calmness. For the first time during the wedding planning process, I did not feel like I had to worry about what would be produced. I had complete trust in them. In fact, I told them to “wing it” for the engagement session. When we first arrived at the location, we were honestly kind of worried. What were we thinking not giving any input? Boy, were we wrong! The pictures could not have turned out more perfect. They were something we had never seen before. Our friends and family still talk about them. From that point on, I had no problem releasing complete control to them for the rest of the wedding process.
Zac and Chris were so much more than just wedding photographers. I honestly feel as though the entire day would have fallen apart without them. There was not one thing they did not have a hand in. It went far beyond picking yet another perfect location. They fixed my hair and makeup, put my shoes on, and even bustled my wedding dress. When I thought I was going to melt in 85 degree weather, they fanned me and fetched me some water. When I was getting overwhelmed by everyone, they took me into my own room and sat with me, even if it meant kicking other people out. My favorite thing about them was how light hearted they made it. I had been stressing all week about hundreds of people staring at me, and they distracted me from that. They were beyond personable. The best part was having them pose with us to show us how to pose.
All of our bridal party and family continues to talk about how much they loved hanging out with Zac and Chris. They all wish how they wouldn’t have gone with different photographers for their upcoming wedding. At the end of the day, not only did we end up with the most amazing pictures of the greatest day of our lives, but we also gained two friends.
Pictures were one of the things that I cared about most for the wedding, and Zac and Chris delivered! Not only are they beautiful and well done, But I got them within 2 weeks after...

on! The day-of, they both were there making sure myself and my guests were having an amazing time. We opted for the photo booth to turn into our guest book and I’m still getting compliments on how fun it was! We received our pictures back yesterday and I am thrilled at how well Zac and Chris captured each special moment of our day. If you even LIKE their portfolio then you will LOVE their pictures of you. I will always recommend Green Couch Photography!
We are so happy with Zac & Chris' work and cannot recommend Green Couch Photography highly enough! They captured so many incredible memories that immediately take us right back to ...
the moment.
Not only are they true professionals with outstanding work, they were just fun to spend our wedding day with.
These guys were so great! We used them for engagement photos and wedding photos. Photos were returned to us within about two weeks and they turned out so perfect.
Can't recommend Green Couch enough! Zac and Chris are awesome guys and super laid back but professional about the wedding process! It felt great to give them a general gist of wh...
at we wanted and then they were able to use their expertise from there and make our pictures amazing! It really felt like we had 2 extra friends hanging out with us all day! They were easy going and easy to work with but also brought a lot of good advice and experience to our day! They even were able to recommend our amazing DJ too! Love these guys!
Zac and Chris were the perfect pick for our wedding photographers. From the moment we had our initial consolation we were instantly blown away by their amazing personalities. They ...
were always punctual, professional, and easy to get in contact with. As a bride, new ideas flood your mind everyday and have a tendency to overwhelm you. Zac was willing to talk to me on the phone for hours to help organize a timeline for our entire day. They were able to keep us and our crazy wedding party on track while simultaneously making sure we received all the photos we had asked for. Not to mention, they delivered all of our edited photos just 1 week after our wedding! These guys are unbelievable and we would recommend them to anyone!
Zac and Chris did an AMAZING job with our wedding photos- seriously every one is better than the next, and they captured the entire day so perfectly! More than that though, Zac was...
a best friend, confidence booster, and wedding coordinator on the big day- it was like having a second MOH (he even helped with my bustle!) They made the entire wedding party and all of our guests feel comfortable, which really shows in the pictures. We would not hesitate to make the decision to book Green Couch Photography again!
We are so glad that we hired Chris and Zac! We live in a different state, so our initial meetings were over Skype. Their down-to-earth, relaxed demeanor eased our "vendor search/we...
dding planning" stress. I wasn't sure of the exact timeline for the morning of the wedding (when hair/makeup would be done), and I was worried about how that would effect their timeline, but they told me not to even think about it, that they had everything covered. And they did; throughout the entire day, it was obvious that they are seasoned pros at beautifully handling weddings. Beyond being just photographers, they helped us out with other things throughout the day, most memorable, how to cut the cake! We are so grateful for their calming, reassuring, enthusiastic, fun, humorous (any mood to fit the moment) presence throughout our wedding day. Oh yeah, and the photos turned out AMAZING!
When looking for a wedding photographer, I interviewed multiple companies, and Green Couch Photography was hands down the best decision I could have made, they are incredible. Afte...
r speaking with Zac, I knew they were the guys I wanted to be there capturing our day. He was professional, funny, detailed, and calming- all crucial aspects of the person you want with you on the day of your wedding. During the planning process, Zac was so easy to work with and made sure that he understood exactly what we were looking for. He made an effort to get to know me personally, he came up with great ideas, and he made sure I was completely confident in them. During the event, they were amazingly efficient (even with our huge family and huge bridal party), they captured everything we wanted in stunning fashion, and they were so creative! Not only this, but they worked so well with our other vendors, kept us on schedule, and were FUN! I cannot describe in words how wonderful it was to work with them. It is obvious that Zac and Chris are genuinely good guys, who not only are top of the line in their profession, but truly care about their work and their brides. If you are getting married in Dayton, Green Couch Photography is the way to go. Not only will I encourage anyone I know planning a wedding to hire them, but I am honored to now be a Green Couch Bride.

y 1 they handled everything and made my life sooo much easier. I had a massive bridal party, 24 including the little ones. And they still managed to make every group picture look PERFECT. I had my photos back to view in less than 2 weeks. And they were so amazing... My best decision in planning this wedding, was having Green Couch Photography!

ement shoot, so that helped us practice. We just got our pictures today and I couldn't be happier with them. Thank you for making our day so great
Working with Zac and Chris with Green Couch Photography was a dream. Although our engagement photos and wedding took place in Cincinnati, my husband and I live in Cleveland. Before...
we signed our contract, Zac skyped with us to get to know us and to get an understanding as to what we envisioned for our wedding. We then got to work with Zac for our engagement photos and he returned them to us THE NEXT DAY, which was THANKSGIVING. Not only that, but we had never been to the location where we shot our engagement photos but heard it was a beautiful venue for the fall photos we were looking for. Zac had never been there either, but when we arrived, he had already scoped out the perfect places within the cemetery (that sounds weirder than it was) to take our photos. As far as our wedding day goes, it was really important to my husband and me to choose a photographer that we would want to spend our day with, and Zac and Chris were the perfect selection for that. Our bridal party had a ball with them and they truly made our day seamless AND fun. They accommodated every single shot we wanted, and of course had ideas of their own, which is very much what we wanted, as we know nothing about photography. It rained throughout our wedding day, yet we got the most beautiful photos, OUTDOORS, and in retrospect, I wouldn't have wanted the weather to be any other way. All of our friends and family who have seen our wedding photos are raving about them. In essence, if you want beautiful photos, photographers who are immediately responsive to your emails, and photographers who you ENJOY spending your day with, then you must go with Green Couch Photography.
Zac and Chris with Green Couch Photography are unbelievable! I couldn't have asked for better photographers to have on our wedding day! Not only did I need Zac to capture every mom...
ent on camera but little did I know I would need him for so much more. He helped with every single thing from the moment he arrived, helping the bridesmaids, grabbing bags, chasing my dog around the neighborhood, to even picking out the perfect lip stick colors (LOL)....to answer every single question, deal with every stressful moment I was having and all the while making us all laugh! I'm not the most organized of people or brides but he went absolutely above and beyond for me that day! Which he didn't sign up for. I never would have expected to find that in a photographer but it made my day that much more special! The pictures were really just a plus! Green Couch photography truly is the best and I would absolutely recommend them to everyone!!! Thank you to Zac and Chris for an unforgettable day! ❤️❤️❤️
Green Couch Photography was so much fun to work with. We had our initial meeting over Skype, and our final details meeting in person; both devolved into basically hanging out. Zac ...
and Chris were so obviously competent that we didn’t want to interfere with them doing their thing, so instead of talking about nitty gritty photo details (which they would have been happy to do, mind you), we instead opted to chat and had fun.
Funnily enough, that was exactly how we spent our wedding day. They arrived at 9am to take our getting-ready pictures, and we had our first look by 9:30. At 10, we were at the venue taking bridal party pictures before our 11 o’clock ceremony. Afterwards, we had 15 minutes of family pictures, and then we were free to enjoy our reception! We never felt as though we were held hostage to the photos. Quite the opposite, in fact: Zac and Chris were flitting around taking pictures, and if something was happening that I wanted photographed, they were usually there before I needed to grab them.
We also booked their Photo Booth, which was a blast. Unfortunately the printer wasn’t working, so guests couldn’t get printouts either to take home or put in the guest book — but Zac was upfront about it, and they offered not only to take our guest book home to put the pictures in themselves, but also to give us a free wedding album.
After the reception was over, we took solo bride and groom shots for about an hour. Even though by this point we were super exhausted, Zac and Chris still made it fun, and it shows in the pictures, which they sent along about 10 days after the wedding. It was such a treat to see how well they captured the fun, happy atmosphere for the day: exactly what we were looking for in wedding photos.
Other than my now-husband, I probably spent the most time on my wedding day with Zac, and it was a blast. He was relaxed but focused, and we probably spent 50% of our time just laughing. Wedding photography is a huge investment, and Green Couch is no different — but with them, you not only get professional service and stunning pictures, but great people who will help you have fun and enjoy your wedding!

lors. We initially met with Zac and he was very knowledgeable and comforting and we really hit it off. Zac guided us through the set-up process effortlessly. I really enjoy the newer technologies they utilize in their process. Our special day went perfectly and we can't thank Zac and Chris enough for being part of the reason why. They were so easy to work with and made the day even more fun and enjoyable! We got a sneak peek of a few of the photos just a few days after the wedding and I fell in love instantly. After a month exactly all of the photos were ready and words cannot express how happy we are with them. They are absolutely beautiful. We feel that Zac and Chris had an intuition for our style and transformed our special day into instant memories brought back that we can easily cherish forever!

t we would have a bad experience with Green Couch Photography. They relieved my stress by their confidence and laughter and by the end of day were extended members of the bridal party. Not only are there personalities alone enough to want to choose them, but their work speaks for itself. They were always at the right place at the right time to capture those special moments. We are so fortunate to have such beautiful photographs of our special day to cherish forever. Zac and Chris genuinely love what they do and take pride in their work. I am honored to be a Green Couch Bride and would highly recommend Zac and Chris!

d they brought awesome props that our guests had a blast with.
I also loved the fact that they sent me a digital copy afterwards of all of the photos taken. That way, I was able to share them on Facebook later and our guests had so much fun going through them at their own pace.
Overall, I am super happy with the way our photo booth by Green Couch turned out, and I would highly recommend it for any wedding!

job. When we spoke a few days before our wedding, he had everything figured out from a questionnaire that I completed a few months prior.
They worked quickly and efficiently and got all of our pictures done that we requested! We did our first look and got all of our bridal party pictures at the church and our requested locations before the ceremony ever started! We were even a bit ahead of schedule! We had so much fun talking and joking with Zac and Chris all day and truly enjoyed hanging out with them! I cannot wait to see our final pictures! From the sneaks they gave us throughout the day, I know I won't be disappointed! Thank you guys for everything!!

raphy and I was immediately blown away by all of their ideas. The engagement pictures were so fun to shoot and they came back looking great! Our final meeting before the wedding was via Skype due to distance but we were able to plan everything out and it worked great! Zac and Chris came on the wedding day with everything planned out and so many ideas in mind. As the bride, I felt at ease knowing that they were both there. Zac and Chris are both very fun and outgoing and will make your wedding day amazing and stress free! There were multiple moments during the wedding where I would turn to Zac and Chris to find out what was going to happen next. Both of them knew exactly what was going on and where everyone needed to be. Even if things do not go as planned, Zac and Chris are able to adapt. During family pictures, my grandfather was feeling ill and needed to sit down on the golf cart. Zac and Chris turned this into a fun moment and all of the family members jumped on the golf cart for a picture. They had our wedding pictures back to us within a week of getting back from our honeymoon and I was blown away! They did an amazing job capturing every moment. I am beyond thankful for these guys and will always have amazing wedding photography to look back at in the future! I highly suggest Green Couch Photography and almost want to get married again just so they can shoot the wedding!

I don't have enough kind words to say about Zac and Chris or enough words to praise the work that they did. I love each and every picture. I'm a little shy but they both made me feel so comfortable. I highly recommend using Green Couch for your wedding photographers, you will not regret it!

The day of the wedding he managed to both take charge of the day and let us take our own pace with timing of pictures. I felt so relaxed and confident day knowing that Zach knew exactly what we wanted and is skilled enough to deliever everything we asked for. I would absolutely recommend these two to any bride!

I know some people are concerned about photographers who seem obtrusive, or even rude, when guests are trying to watch the events--that is not Zac & Chris! They are completely professional, and very considerate of guests. I would choose Green Couch again and again.
