fun picking songs for our playlist and getting his thoughts. Music at the wedding was perfect. He was there for us throughout. His equipment worked great at the ceremony and party, He "MC'd" at the wedding introducing speakers and toasts in a super cool, low key way. Was on it. And reasonable pricing. Really strongly recommend Fred for your event.
Fred was very personable and easy to work with. He did an amazing job keeping the night flowing, and the setlist was perfect. Highly recommend!

ather the afternoon of our wedding resulting in a road closure that our DJ would not be able to make it to our ceremony. We found out just under two hours prior to the ceremony start time. Thankfully we had an incredible wedding planner (Jenny at Stargazed Weddings & Events) who called Fred asking if he could make it in time and he graciously agreed. I truly owe everything to Fred and hate thinking about what our ceremony could have looked like had he not have been available. My wedding planner warned me that he had no time to prepare for our ceremony and would do the very best he could given the time constraints but that I may need to adjust my expectations on our music being perfect. I was pleasantly surprised that everything was PERFECT! In under one hour to prepare for this ceremony he absolutely blew me away. Fred truly saved the day and we will be forever grateful to him.
Fred was SO FUN and everyone loved him at our wedding.

His energy, his intros, his song selections, literally everything. Guests were ranting and raving about how awesome Fred was.
He had a blast with the wedding party, and myself and my bride, and it made the whole day so much fun.
He is incredibly good at reading the room and setting the right vibe. Our vibe...best party ever, and Fred was right on queue.
Would recommend him to my closest friends and family.
Thanks, Fred. My wife and I couldn't have gotten luckier!
Fred and Bob were amazing! They were professional and prompt with all inquiries, contract discussions and music conversations. Bob created an amazing atmosphere for our wedding!

nnouncements were clear and fit the tone of our wedding, and he was able to read the crowd perfectly when it came to dancing. Our dance floor ended up not being big enough… I would 10/10 recommend Fred at GreatimeDJ

DJ Fred is the DJ we used from Greatime DJ for our wedding in Sep 2021. DJ Fred is an excellent DJ for 3 reasons:
1. His love for music - He just had such a passion for music. W...
e interviewed other DJ's and we mostly picked Fred because he just seemed so excited to talk about music and figure out what was going to make a party for us and our guest.
2. He has magic telepathic party making skills - Everyone danced a ton at our wedding. My friends and family aren't big party people, so I was so thrilled that everyone was dancing so hard that night. The best part was the end of the night. The end of our wedding he played a "final" song that everyone wanted to dance to and then he played an encore song that ended with every wedding guest(70 guests) in a big circle singing arm in arm. I had 5 - 10 people tell me that was the best end to a wedding they had ever scene. It was absolutely extraordinary.
3. He is very kind and honest and is willing to help you figure out what music is right for your party- I was struggling trying to determine what to play during dinner. I was going to go with a safe choice and play Sinatra vibe music. When I spoke with Fred, he told me not to play what I think I should play, but play what I want to hear. So I sent him a playlist of my favorite music that I wanted worked into the night if "it fit the vibe" he could work with. Fred loved the music and for dinner mostly played my playlist. It wasn't traditional, but he perfectly curated the playlist to start slow and calm and end with "let's party" songs. It was awesome hearing some of my husband and I's favorite songs instead of just the usual expected wedding tunes at dinner.

g out and contacting Greatime DJ, we had a wonderful introductory call with Fred. We were SO glad we got to work with Fred and Greattime DJ! He was just a true delight to connect with, easy to schedule and coordinate. We had a phone consultation before booking him for our big day and made my husband and I feel so comfortable. Planning was easy, Fred was very responsive, and we had a final session with him on the phone a week or two before the wedding. Fred was extremely helpful with suggestions on his experience, and worked with us to personalize the day- he was extremely organized! In terms of the actual day of, wow, he was AMAZING. He kept the party going, I don't think I've danced so much my entire life- we had SO MUCH FUN! Even some guests who told me they normally don't really dance at weddings were on the dance floor having a great time - one guest told me she was OBSESSED with Fred and will likely book him for when she gets married in the future.
He made sure everything we asked for stayed on track. He had several people tell us throughout the night what an amazing DJ we had snagged. We couldn't be more grateful to Fred and all he did to make our big day special. We have been to a lot of weddings and have learned a DJ can make or break a wedding. If you want your wedding to be amazing, have an incredible vibe, and get a DJ that goes above and beyond to make sure your day goes according to plan, hire Fred, you will not regret it!
Fred is hands down the best DJ. We could not have asked for anything better for our special day. We didn't even really have to put together a "preferred playlist" because he just d...
id everything so perfectly on his own. Everybody was on the dance floor all night, and was having so much fun. He was interactive with everyone and did all announcements for us, which was wonderful to not have to worry about. I would recommend Fred and Greatime DJ a million times over. Fred, you are incredible, thank you so much for our wonderful night!

te and made the process of switching our date effortless. Fred spent time getting to know us and our interests and was able to incorporate that into our wedding reception music. He read the room and was able to keep the crowd going all night long. Fred, you're the best, thank you so much for helping to make our wedding day unforgettable!
Erik at Greatime DJ was amazing! He really read the energy of the room and got everyone on the dance floor with some serious bangers. SO GREAT. Wouldn't hesitate to book them again...
!
We’d always envisioned having a live band play our wedding reception, so we were naturally heartbroken upon learning that, due to COVID restrictions, a band was no longer feasible....
Having attended our share of weddings where the DJ was just fine, maybe even slightly better than expected, we assumed our outcome would be much the same.
What we didn’t expect was that Fred Hammond of Greatime DJ would completely rewrite our views of what a wedding DJ could be. From the jump, Fred was a true professional and put our minds at ease with his prompt communication and courteous, laidback personality. He’s got an excellent ear for all genres of music, of course, but his dedication to making our big day memorable and keeping our stress levels to a minimum is what made all the difference.
On wedding day, Fred continued to exceed expectations by working hand in hand with our planner to ensure everything was seamless. Armed with an expertly crafted setlist of our favorite tunes, Fred absolutely blew the doors off the place! His track selection and ability to read the energy of the dancefloor was impeccable and kept everyone grooving all night long. Perhaps the best testament to Fred’s abilities is the fact that our guests were still buzzing about the dance party two weeks later.
We really can’t say enough good things about Fred and our experience working with him. If you have the chance to book Fred, do so and don’t look back. You’ll be glad you did!
Fred was absolutely wonderful! He kept people on the dance floor the entire night!

gs and then broke it down on the dance floor with Latin vibes, funk and top 100 pop songs. He read the crowd and transitioned between songs flawlessly. Several of my family members who have been to at least 20 weddings in the last few years told me he was the best DJ they have heard. He kept us on the dance floor until the venue shut down. Highly recommended.

ndencies (we had no music at all for our ceremony!) while still including some more conventional elements and providing an enjoyable time for our 65 friends and family. My wedding planner immediately recommended Greatime, and I'm SO glad that she did--Fred gave us such personalized attention ahead of the wedding that I knew I could trust him to stick to the preferences I described but also use his judgment where needed, and that's exactly what he did. He was extremely professional, responsive, and a pleasure to work with from start to finish, even in the midst of what I know is the busiest and most chaotic wedding season ever. Thanks, Fred!!

g, kind and kept our guests dancing all night. We had a wide range of ages at our wedding and even people we did not expect to dance were on the dance floor and having a blast. Fred did a wonderful job with our ceremony music and for the reception we had a few “must plays” and a few “don’t plays” and he honored all our requests. We receive TONS of comments from our guests about how fantastic the DJ and music was and how much fun they had dancing. I can’t say enough good things about our experience with Fred and Greatime DJs! Thank you, Fred!! We had SO much fun!

bout checking in with us to make sure we had everything we needed. Throughout the week before our wedding and the day of, Fred continued his excellent communication, checking in with us several times to make sure everything went smoothly.
Everything was very personalized to us, he played songs from the Spotify playlists we sent him and used his expertise to play off the energy of our guests to keep the party going. Our dance floor was full the entire time and we got so many compliments on how good the music was. We were very impressed and had so much fun dancing with our guests. The uplighting looked excellent and coordinated well with the rest of our decorations. Also, all the microphones worked really well and the guests were all able to hear (including my grandparents with hearing aids), even despite it being a little windy at the beginning of our ceremony.
We would highly recommend Greatime and DJ Fred! He made us feel like old friends even though we have never met him before our wedding day. We were extremely happy with our experience!
Good DJ, got many positive compliments from guests. Played a mix of new/old music and also stuck to our recommendations!

es and figured out new plans. On the day of, Erik nailed our music preferences and flawlessly executed the ceremony music for us. We had somewhat of a strange processional, and he helped us work through it from a timing and music change perspective. We had a smaller wedding and had a few other activities during our reception, so sometimes the dance floor emptied out, but Erik was able to revitalize the crowd and got everyone dancing again! He was also easy to work with the day-of, as during the reception, I walked up to the stand a few times to make quick updates to the timeline and plan. We would highly recommend Erik and Greattime DJ for your event!
Fred did a great job at our wedding! He was very professional and responsive when planning as well, which made the whole process so much easier.

e it was perfect. He didn’t miss any cue and knew exactly how to keep everyone dancing! His ability to just make you feel like that you don’t need to worry about anything is a great quality to have in a DJ! I would highly recommend Great Time DJ for any event, you won’t be disappointed! Thanks again for making our day the greatest day of our life!

clearly have not been dancing late into the night. We wanted a band from the start but had to move to a DJ due to space restrictions, needless to say Eric did not disappoint. I would highly recommend this company to anyone looking to have a good time and a say in the customization of their playlists. Eric knocked it out of the park.
Fred did an amazing job incorporating all music styles and adjusted immediately as we changed our first dance outside on a patio because it had begun to snow. He opened the patio ...
doors, turned the speaker outside and made an announcement for everyone to join us - it was a magical way to kick off the festive dancing for the rest of our reception! Thanks again Fred for making our Vail Wedding a wonderful event! Amy & Doug
Fred was incredible. Took the time to get to know us and the music we preferred for every part of the reception. Would 100% recommend to all.
I cannot say enough wonderful things about Greatime DJ and our wedding DJ, Fred! From discussing music choices over the phone, to accommodating a postponed wedding due to COVID and...
even dealing with forest fires closing highways, Fred was committed to us through it all! What was supposed to be a 2 hour commute to our wedding venue turned into an 11 hour one due to the wildfires and road closures happening in August this past year. Fred was so calm and collected about it and reassured me (the frantic bride) he would be at our wedding no matter what, and he did just that! He was so easy to work with and listened to all of our do's and don'ts. He played all of our requested genres and music all while reading the room perfectly. Our entire wedding reception people were dancing and loving every song he played. By the end of the night we had everyone up on the dance floor having the best time! Thank you so much Fred! We will forever have the best memories of dancing with all our family and friends on our wedding night!

the answers we needed. Erik was awesome during the event, the sounds quality for our ceremony was perfect and the music was exactly what we wanted. We provided a long list of preferred music and Erik didn't disappoint. Thank you for helping to make our day perfect during an insanely crazy time.

ar/eye for being able to gauge what a wedding needs and at precisely which moment in order to maximize the party and make everyone happy. Everyone kept coming up to us and telling us how great the DJ was. Cannot recommend Fred/his team higher.
We had DJ Bob Bridges from Greatime DJ and got married in Breckenridge CO (venue: The Lodge at Breckenridge). We were provided ceremony and reception music, and it was perfection! ...
We had been through so much with the pandemic affecting the number of guests we could have and Bob was able to make the DJ aspect seamless. He went above and beyond and we'd pick greatime DJ over and over again.

My fiancé and I heard great things about Greatime and were looking forward to having them DJ at our wedding. They were very responsive and coordinated well with our wedding planner...
. Unfortunately, due to COVID-19 we were unable to have our wedding on the day we planned, and Greatime did not perform any DJ services. It was frustrating that Greatime would not refund any of our upfront money paid, though after much discussion they agreed to refund 50%. This is still frustrating because they did not perform any services and kept 50% of what we paid them ahead of time.
