Laurie Kort and her staff were delightful to work with and extremely professional keeping our guests well fed and well hydrated. We highly recommend Gourmet Express Catering & Event Planning Group for your future event.

ur guests. The food is absolutely delicious and fairly priced! This is my second time using this caterer.

ork with. She truly made my vision come alive and it was even more beautiful than I could have imagined. The food was absolutely excellent and the service was top notch. Several guests went out of their way to mention how attentive the servers were and the bartenders remembering their name and drink. Our VIPs said Missy kept their wine full all night :) Would 1000% recommend getting married and the Longacre House and having Missy and Gourmet Express serve amazing food and drinks and being excellent wedding coordinators. Truly cannot go wrong!

L, Laurie replied quickly everytime I needed her, provided an immense level of support while we navigated some challenging times in life and I am truly grateful for her and her Team! Our Wedding was an absolute dream and I give so much credit to Laurie!! Thank you for the support, the help, and for helping to create a day that we will never forget!!!

dding day was everything we wanted . I've had so many people reach out to me telling me how beautiful the day was, and how delicious the food was. Thank you so much for helping me make my wedding day the best day ever!

e will treasure the memories of forever. We received so many compliments on the appetizers, dinner and late night snack. Just delicious, with beautiful presentation. I've have worked with many upscale hotels and caterers across the country for business. My expectations are high and it takes a lot to impress me. The little details that Laurie noticed and took care of simply amazed me. THANK YOU, Laurie!! Sincerely, You're #1 Fan Sandy Goyer

erson I’ve come across! Wedding season can be stressful!! My Husband and I planned our entire wedding alone.. With this being said, I really leaned on Laurie for her advice and professionalism and she went over and beyond to make sure I had the best day ever!! Laurie not only communicated with me multiple times throughout the week to make sure all my ideas and dreams were portrayed for the day of the wedding, she also checked in on me just to say “How are you feeling, Bride? Let me know if you need anything from me”. It’s the little things that goes unnoticed and I want Laurie to know- I noticed and I appreciate you! From changing my wedding date to having a LARGE wedding and wedding Party, Laurie kept her cool and stayed right there for it all. Thank you, Laurie.. For all that you do! I also want to shoutout this company! Many, Many, Many of my wedding guest came up to me during my wedding and after my wedding to tell me how amazing the food was!! People were impressed at the how delicious everything was. One of my bridesmaids said “Even the bread and butter was Amazing”. Thank you all so very much!

hands! You and your staff were highly organized, nice and so helpful. Everything was absolutely perfect from the set up, fantastic food, pours of endless cocktails and the multitude of desserts. Everyone is still raving about how they loved the food. You and your team always go above and beyond.  We’ve done multiple events together and I look forward to working with you and your team on many more. Thank you for always being amazing!

in a long time. Some even compared it to dinner at a five star restaurant. I would highly recommend them for any event you’re considering - you will not be disappointed!!!

tastic. I would recommend them to anyone! Thank you, again for the great food and service.

us with our guests, many of whom were elderly. We received many compliments from our guests.

delicous! The portions were very generous (quiche, potatoes and both bacon and sausage - all cooked perfectly). Absolutely beautiful fruit platters at each table. Our guests all raved about the quality and quantity of the food! Also, the service was perfect, staff was polite, efficient, friendly and attentive. We were extremely happy with everything and would happily use Gourmet Express Catering again!

h I didn’t know what to expect, but they not only won my trust but my friendship and I would hire them to do any event I would have from now on. Gourmet Express could compete with ANY venue or catering company you could think of. Our son and many of our friends have serious allergies and my son (bar mitzvah boy) breaks out due a food allergies often, cross contamination or chefs not being careful or food he can’t eat. Laurie and her team worked with us … wait bent over backwards so that my son & our friends could eat and NOT be sick. My son spent the entire day enjoying himself vs being itchy and uncomfortable, which is exactly what I wanted and they provided but was nervous of at 1st and bc of how amazing the staff at Gourmet Express was with us my son DID NOT get sick. And for that I’m so grateful!!! Ooh now the amount of food kept flowing. The taste was wonderful, even my pickiest eater of a friend loved the food. We never ran out, which happens a lot w/other caterers ive seen at bar(t) Mitzvah. The sushi OMG it was amazing everyone loved it. The food was hot, presented beautifully, tasted amazing. Everything about the food was great. Laurie and I came up with a signature drink for the day. Which was a big success as well. Laurie always was in communication with me the entire time from the start to finish and if there was something specific that we knew my son could eat that he wouldn’t get sick from they provided that specific brand. Very few caterer’s/ppl are that willing to be that flexible or understanding when you have as serious of allergies as my family does and to find someone who didn’t know anything about it and they would work with us to make the menu for him Means a lot. A bar Mitzvah is a once in a lifetime event and Gourmet Express helped make this experience to extra special b/c of the time & effort Laurie & her team put into making sure everything went off smoothly for our family

assistance and insight, gave suggestions and had decoration ideas. The Food was amazing, we had the Chicken Piccata with Artichoke. The chicken was not over breaded and was so tender, oh my gosh very delicious! The staff helping the day of the Baby Shower, were on top of making sure everyone was taken care of. They were also very helpful and talked with us about things we may need and offered assistance. Very talented staff.

our baby shower being perfect.

food and atmosphere. I highly recommend Missy and her team for your next event.

ndly and made our event extra special. Planning process was very thorough and really helpful. table linens and basic mirror/candle centerpieces were perfect. Will definitely use this team again.

ode, that "everything would be fine. Tend to your guest-we'll handle the rest." You can't find that now-a-days. I am sharing my experience with everyone.

omplaints and already have recommended your services to many people. Thank You! Thank You! Thank You! I look forward to doing business with you again in the near future. GOD BLESS YOU ALL❤️👌🏼

day of she was a calming presence and had a great eye for detail - it’s obvious she’s experienced. you won’t go wrong with selecting gourmet express.

with!

id an outstanding job in all respects, the food was delicious, and it was artfully arranged with generous portions. Laurie Kort was fabulous to work with. She was always available via email when I had questions, and she would reply promptly. Her written plans for the day were precise and detailed. Our event was a total success and people raved about the food! Before our event, we were invited to a "tasting" party at Longacre House where my husband and I were able to sample a variety of appetizers, salads, entrees, and desserts that Gourmet Express makes for luncheon and dinner affairs. All of the dishes were delicious. I highly recommend Gourmet Express without reservation. Do not hesitate to book them for your next event.

and made things worry free. I would highly recommend them!

ng up to our event for literally everything. We had to build our reception from the ground up, including building out the kitchen. GEX took care of it all. Laurie was so quick to respond via text or email whenever we had questions and reached out to us even during the busy wedding season to check in even though we were still 6-8 months out from our wedding. And our day was the most beautiful day. Laurie brought our winter wonderland vision to life in ways we didn’t know we wanted! And the FOOD! Our guest are still raving that it was the best food they’ve ever had at a wedding hands down. They created a dessert table to die for, the thing was huge and every type of sweets you could possibly imagine. I really can’t say enough good things about them. Full service excellence from start to finish.

ething always goes wrong when hosting an event....NOPE it was just PERFECT!! Thank you for the extra attention you gave to every single detail! Food and staff were all beyond our expectations!! Thanks again!

ut of state. We were blown away by the delicious buffet, and the amazing sweets table. Our guests are still talking about how special this day was. Thank you for making our day celebrating our daughter and grand daughter to be so memorable.

essaging us about how delicious the food was!

ng the planning stage, had great suggestions, and the day of - were so attentive! I would highly recommend them! Also, check into their taste testing-this sealed the deal for us!

o do whatever we needed. Everything went off without a hitch. The food was served right on schedule and it was delicious!! I will definitely use Gourmet Express again. And I will recommend them to anyone who's looking.

licious, excellent drinks, presentation was lovely and very good service. I would recommend Gourmet Express Catering for your catering and event needs.

nd Mimosa Bars were a big hit! You thought of every little detail and packaged it all into a fair price. THANK YOU! Dagny, Ellen, Asa & Abe

vening and how everything turned out - something I worried about for many days before the wedding! Their food is amazing and about every guest I talked to was raving about it afterwards. Would highly recommend them for any event and I hope to use them again in the future!

ecially the ice cream bar! The crew, Brittany, Emma, Hannah and Wyatt the evening of the event were wonderful to work with. They kept everything stocked and were very attentive to all the details. I’ve used Gourmet Express for multiple events over the last 20+ years. Terrific to work with!! I look forward to my next event and the opportunity to work with Gourmet Express again.

ed the party by creating a delicious menu and delivering exemplary service. Laurie Kort, the co-owner and event organizer, was accommodating within reason and answered each text and email promptly. Laurie worked with me to create a personalized brunch menu. The pancake bar was a huge hit with the young and young at heart! Laurie was so kind through out the process and gave great suggestions. For example, we had 9 children under 10 years old attending the event and Laurie suggested that we use the sun porch as an activity room. It turned out to be genius. We had the families with young children sit at tables near the sun room and the children had fun in that room throughout the party. Our older guests were equally pleased and several commented on the children’s good behavior. The afternoon was enjoyable for all. Don’t hesitate to ask Laurie for suggestions! On the day of the event, the Gourmet Express staff assisted us the moment we stepped through the door. Gage immediately offered to help unload the table decorations from our vehicles. And one by one the rest of the staff introduced themselves and volunteered their services. Thank you to Missy, the 2 Brittneys, Emma, Bonnie, Regina, Liz, Gage, and Danny. I cannot say enough regarding the professionalism and friendliness of the staff. They were attentive without being intrusive. They assisted guests with mobility issues and the parents with young children as they navigated the buffet line. At the end of the afternoon, they did not make us feel rushed even though another event was scheduled for the evening. Thank you again for a wonderful afternoon. I highly recommend Gourmet Express. The food and the service can not be beat.

disappointed using their services.

ing in three months due to our original venue falling through during the pandemic and without Missy I don’t think we would have been able to get it done. We didn’t even have time to taste the food and all people could rave about at our wedding was how good it was, especially the dessert table. I highly recommend using them.

re also genuinely helpful and caring about the small details. We can't say enough good things about Missy. From day 1 she was quick to respond to emails and offered tons of helpful suggestions as the reception got closer. We were able to relax and enjoy the wedding because Missy and staff orchestrated everything! Missy even helped the groom and groomsmen put on their boutonnieres. She had the evening timed out perfectly and never got flustered or irritated. The food was delicious, guests were raving about the appetizers (Spicer Package) and everyone enjoyed the friendly bartender with the British accent. At least 2 guests asked us for the name of our caterer before the night was over and we highly encouraged them to consider Gourmet Express for their events.

just what every bride wants on their special day. They were so friendly and easy to work with, which meant so much to us. Thanks for everything! The Harrison Family

erson wedding pre-COVID, to a small intimate gathering with family and friends at a new venue with so much ease. Throughout our engagement, she made sure to check in with us at least weekly, if not, more often, to see how things were going and always kept us on track with planning. When we were a month out and had to pivot our whole wedding and venue, she handled it like a champion and we replanned our wedding in a flash. It was everything we could have dreamed of and MORE. Laurie and her team thought of every detail and anticipated next steps before they even crossed my mind. I felt so much peace when working with her because I knew she would make everything run smoothly. Laurie and her team make you feel like you are family and are ABSOLUTELY outstanding. Look no further, this is who you want for all things wedding planning. We feel so blessed to have worked with her and her team. If I could give a ten star review, I definitely would because this team deserves it!

f the wedding. They are both wonderful to work with. They coordinated the setup, provided the staff, food, and beverages. Everyone was courteous, professional and friendly. The food was great. A lot of options. It made my life a lot easier. My daughter was so pleased. She thought the small wedding was so perfect, she is thinking of skipping her large celebration next year.

missy stuck with us every step of the way and made our wedding dreams come true! Our indoor,100 guest wedding turned into a backyard 35 person wedding, and missy made it as easy and stress free as possible! Not only is the food amazing, with many options to choose from but the staff were all so courteous and kind and made my wedding a breeze for me ! We used them for a buffet style dinner and bar services as well as setup prior to our event . It put me at ease as a bride knowing that I had a reliable person setting up my decor just how I wanted it. All of the gourmet express staff were very personable. They were genuinely happy for us and went above and beyond . I would recommend them over and over again and will definitely use them again for any catering needs !

nd professional and courteous staff...I highly recommend them for your wedding, rehearsal dinner or brunch!

te events, anniversary or birthday parties, you name it! They’re very versatile and can help with any kind of event. I recently had the pleasure of having them put on a shower for me and Laurie was just incredible to work with and helped put on the best shower I could have imagined. Thank you GEX for all you do to make beautifully memorable events!

ressed with the quality of their food and the party committee greatly appreciated their professionalism and generous help with the events!
