Gold Ring Entertainment

listen to what we wanted. On the day of, he helped everything move along smoothly despite last minute changes with the venue because of the weather. I would highly recommend Gold Ring Entertainment for your DJ!

es on the timestamp of each song, which was completely ignored. It seems he used an old version of our timeline because it wasn't the one we saved by the deadline he told us, which we met. My "walking down the isle" song was wrong. We had 1 for the groom, then another for the rest of the wedding party and bride. He never switched the song! We had specific 30 second clips in the notes for the bridal party entrance songs, which he ignored the notes. Even right before the entrance he came to us to recap, and since both my brother and his wife (my sister in law) we're coming in together (married couple) which we explained to him, we wanted him to just say their first name and last name 1x, not for each of them separately. He ignored us on that too, and just said it how he wanted, separately. Our entrance was WAY LONGER than 30 seconds, which we felt weird and didn't expect. It felt awkward. Was he distracted with something else? I don't know why it went on for so long. For dancing, he did play the songs we wanted. I wouldn't use him again.

uests only wanted a certain type of music playing at the reception to see if I wanted to do what the guests wanted or keep it all mixed. I'm glad he left that choice to me instead of my in-laws. I liked the added lighting too. Overall it was a good experience.

es throughout the event and they made sure it fit our event. I believe our dj was colb or Something like that I didn’t totally catch his name but he was great! Kept us up to date on our timeline and overall made the night enjoyable! Our party died out sooner than expected because of our older crowd with their young kids but that didn’t stop our party or the Dj stopping early and even played a few songs for just me and my hubby, didn’t feel rushed by him even though the party was long dead lol

make sure I understood what he needed from me and when. He offered a free lighting consultation when we realized our venue might be too dark for quality pictures and we were amazed by the quality of their up lighting and what it added to our event. 2 weeks before the wedding, our original plans for the photo booth fell through and again, Greg came to the rescue with their mirror photo booth. When it came to the event, Greg kept everything moving smoothly. When the reception ran behind because of delays with dinner, Greg coordinated to have all of our big events completed before the photographer left and stayed late to finish out the reception for us. Greg truly is the best and is so fun to work with. He felt like an old friend by the time everything was over. It was nice to be able to breathe knowing he could handle anything that was thrown his way with a smile. While I would change some of my decisions in vendors, Greg is one of few vendors I would pick over and over.

ur event

nctual with timing, selected amazing songs for areas we couldn't put much of our own thoughts into, provided all planned services with accuracy and confidence. In all, Greg was a pleasure to have and we recommend him as your DJ!

magical. The photobooth was the biggest hit of the night, so many great memories were captured by all our guests. And last but might not least Greg did such a wonderful job MC’ing the event & engaging everyone making sure that all felt welcome.

ch was a hit with our guests. I will definitely be using him in future events.

s able to keep everyone on thr dance floor the whole night, and modified all of the dance songs to only include the good stuff. 10/10 would use him again!

gnant with our first son who was set to be due in April. In addition to celebrating our one year anniversary, we wanted to have a baby shower even though we were really cutting it close! We took our chances and decided to go through with it. Working with Greg of Goldring Entertainment made the planning experience less stressful. Greg was super accommodating to our unique situation! He added some baby shower elements in the wedding reception program, such as incorporating new parent questions in one of the games, and having the idea of me performing a Bride-Son dance (I did a hula number). Choosing our songs was made easy through his client portal, and he made sure everything was set in schedule. Greg provided us with not only with an awesome wedding reception/ baby shower program, with good music, and activities—he had other amazing services that added quite a magic touch to our event. He provided colored uplights that made our venue (which was at the Irish Cultural Center in Downtown Phoenix) look so amazing than it already is, illuminating the place to look like the castle in Disneyland at night. Greg also provided a special spotlight to highlight our cake. The dance lights on the floor were also a lot of fun and colorful. The big hit of the night was the full length photobooth mirror! Everyone had so much fun, especially my husband. I’ve never seen him take so many photos before! The scrapbook was a momentous keepsake and was worth every cent. Greg retouched and put together the pictures in the scrapbook, which was really nice of him. Greg is not only professional, he is also very personable and establishes positive relationships with those he works with. For example, he has also referred to us to our awesome wedding coordinator, Gina. Overall, my husband and I were really happy with all of Greg’s services. He goes above and beyond to make sure his clients have a memorable and beautiful event they always wanted. Greg is full of creative ideas that made our wedding reception program so memorable. He is professional, accessible, easy to communicate with, organized, and really puts a lot of thought in your event. I’ve had compliments on how smooth he ran the evening! There are many wedding DJs out there but Greg was surely one who does an outstanding job! Even though my husband and I had to wait a year to have our wedding reception, it was worth the wait—thanks to Greg!

decision ever! One of the biggest suggestions from wedding planners and other brides was to make sure you get a GREAT DJ and don’t let that be something you skimp out on. I honestly felt so blessed that we had Greg. Our wedding coordinator/planner turned out to be less than what I had thought or was expecting but with Greg there it all ran so smoothly. He even grabbed a plate of appetizers for me after the ceremony since I was busy taking pictures and couldn’t enjoy cocktail hour! He’s EXTREMELY detail oriented, he had the whole wedding timeline down to the minute, his client portal for choosing songs contains a wide range of music, and all the activities that he has to keep the guests entertained were wonderful. He is a true wedding DJ. Do NOT sleep on Greg Keys with Gold Ring Entertainment! He’s worth every single penny. He’s hands down the main reason why our wedding ran so smoothly.

re reception - Greg and the music were the BEST. The dance floor was full the entire night and our guests to this day still talk about how great the music and our DJ was! 100% would recommend Gold Ring Entertainment!

he responded to my emails and calls very attentively. He is easy to work with and very kind. He was a fantastic dj and host. He helped me make my wedding unique and special. My guests were wowed at some of the ideas and activities he planned. The shoe game was a hit! I am extremely grateful for him and I’d highly recommend him for dj services and photo booth! Thank you Greg!!

ake it unforgettable. Table trivia to let out each table to get food was the best idea! People had to much fun fighting to get to the right answer! We had preselected music but Greg was able to incorporate songs I would have never thought about to keep everyone moving. We had a lot of kids at our wedding and each of them danced their little hearts out.

whole ceremony and reception and kept us entertained and on track with each event all night! They only do weddings so they know what they're doing! Our DJ was awesome and kept people dancing all night long! We are so thankful that we chose them and would make the same choice again and again! Thank you Gold Ring!!!

out the wedding industry and walked us through how the night can go. He had so many details and fun additions that really made planning so much easier. He has a web portal set up for us to add music we wanted to hear and our first dance songs, etc. The day of the wedding our DJ was phenomenal. He kept people on the dance floor, helped the dinner buffet flow smoothly, and kept everyone entertained. If you're looking for a DJ give this place a call, you won't regret it!

ally and gave us a lot of details. However, after we decided we wanted to book with him, he was extremely unresponsive. He took five days to respond to our email and led us to believe we could book with him, however after multiple additional emails from us to him, he never responded again. Over the course of 12 days, with multiple emails from us, we've decided to move on, also considering we were nervous about this unresponsiveness if we did actually book him. Unfortunately we've wasted 2 weeks when we could have been looking for a different DJ, since we have a short engagment. We're disappointed because he seemed to have a great service.

ne enjoyed! Greg was responsive and did offer a lot of options for the reception because he's seen a million weddings and wanted to make sure we had the best one possible. In the end, he honored our desire to keep it simple, but did convince us to have an Entrance so all of the guests would know we were there, which turned out to be the best plan. As my own wedding planner, I met with Greg several times before the wedding and felt very comfortable that we were on the same page. I also designated my dad as the day-of contact so Greg would know who he could talk to for questions. He still did come to me for a few things because his number 1 priority is that the bride is happy so who better to ask than the bride! The music was PERFECT but because I got to choose every single song and even their order in some cases (opening songs, last call songs, dessert songs). The online system allowed me to be extremely detailed and was very easy to use. Greg was great about choosing which song to follow up each previous song with (when I let him :) ), which is because he's an experienced DJ. Great experience!!! Thanks Greg!

They came up with some really great entertainment ideas and were very organized when it came to the timeline and different pieces of our wedding day. Our guests loved our DJ and we really appreciate their service!

t the music we wanted to be played at the reception which was a great feature! He worked with us into the dates up to our wedding to understand the flow of the entire day. His team had the event program down to a tee!! The different activities that he had suggested for the wedding really did bring energy and fun to each table. Our wedding guests participated in a table trivia, wedding poem and got to partake in a anniversary dance (which was a special surprise and treat for our guests who had been married the longest). We even had a couple vocalist attend in which he helped to coordinate and provide the equipment that they needed to perform. His flexibility was very much appreciated. All of our guests raved about how wonderful our wedding was and how much fun they had. I really think that having great entertainment truly makes a difference at a wedding, and Greg Keys did an exceptional job to deliver our best day ever.

elped me with song choices and ideas that I never would have thought of. He even helped me with a mix for my father/daughter dance - which everyone loved! The DJ we had on the day of our event did great as well! He came up and introduced himself to me before the reception started but other than that he handled everything on his own without coming to me with any questions. All of our requests were played and we had a ton of people out there dancing and enjoying the music. I would definitely recommend Gold Ring Entertainment for your DJ services!

d to find a DJ. They were affordable and very responsive, answering questions and concerns in a quick manner. Greg was also able to adjust his schedule to meet the needs of our wedding (our caterer was an hour late!!!) and worked around them, resulting in less anxiety than there could have been.

sure everything stayed on schedule during the wedding and that the music was suitable for what was occurring during the reception. Through Gold Ring, they provide clients with their own music website to build their playlist with their guests in mind. By doing this, we were able to make sure the music being played was a perfect fit. Greg even commented that he had never seen the dance floor fill up on the first song, like it had at our reception! Our guests danced the whole night and even formed a giant conga line of over 100 people! Kudos to Greg and Gold Ring for their help in making our night memorable!

and the party upbeat. I'd recommend them for any event!

rted the bridal entrance music while groomsmen and bridesmaids were still walking out. So, that kind of ruined the grand entry. Then, during the ceremony the microphone kept cutting in and out and most of the guests did not hear the meditation that was given. Luckily the microphone worked during the vows. I would have liked for it to work during the whole ceremony though. Other than that, the DJ did a good job during the cocktail hour and reception. We like an interesting mix of old school country and hip hop, and he did well blending the two extremes together. He was really nice, professional. and got lots of people dancing. The event ended at 11 p.m. and he stayed until 1 p.m. cleaning up. Greg, the owner, is an interesting person to work with. He is very friendly but definitely likes to push his own ideas. I wanted my brother and sister-in-law to MC ALL of the reception. He said that they could MC just a couple parts. Luckily, the DJ was more easy going and was happy to work with them to make what my husband and I wanted a reality.

nt off without a hitch. The music planning website they give you is such a great tool! Our DJ was fantastic at keeping our guests entertained and keeping us on schedule as we were getting pulled in all different directions. The music never stopped and the perfect song was always on deck to keep the dance floor full. They were very reasonably priced as well, coming in at less than half what another vendor quoted us and they brought dance floor lighting. We just can't say enough good things about them!

ught energy to our wedding. He definitely made it a "night to remember". He is calm and supportive, makes great suggestions...so very happy with his service and the Secret Garden Venue in Phoenix

ouldn't say enough wonderful things about how Greg kept the party going. Greg played every song on our list to prefection. Greg thank you for making our day amazing. If I could rate you a million I would. Words will never begin to tell you thank you for everything you did for us. Krissy

g was so organized and the website they used was so user friendly! They have so many great services to offer! William was our DJ the night of the wedding and he was fantastic! He played everything on our list and got the feel of our music taste and played some great tune to get people on the dance floor. Please don't let their low prices fool you, the service you get is OUTSTANDING! I am so happy I went with Gold Ring and you should too!

hey have been to.

w to plan the reception. The DJ himself was eager to please and showed up on time and was very professional. I did have to have the contract rewritten a couple of time due to mistakes in price or details of service but overall, I was extremely happy with their service!

J! I had the beautiful dancing on a cloud, gorgeous color towers and up lighting to match our wedding color scheme, excellent reception sound system and they played all of the songs requested by us! They also helped with the sparkler grand exit at the end of the night! Gina was so warm and caring, and the guests loved her! She even had the idea to read aloud a letter I wrote to my father before our dance together – everyone was in tears! The flow through dinner and dancing was impeccable – they kept everything moving along, alternating between dancing and something personal with the bride a groom! Everything was done so smoothly and effortlessly and timely that most of the guests stayed the entire night! They are very affordable and incredible at personalization and knowing how a wedding should be run. I cannot thank them both for all of their efforts in helping to create the wedding of my dreams.

nd out he had forgotten about the meeting and didn't write it down. When we finally did meet, he didn't remember my name, my wedding date or venue, or what we were looking for- all things I had told him over the phone. After the meeting, I sent him an email to follow up and talk about booking (silly me) only to find out that he didn't remember who I was again or my wedding info. What a waste of time- I can't imagine how my wedding would have been if he couldn't even remember my name.

buisness for years and did not rest until I was completely satisfied with my wedding band and all that went with the band. He is an amazing guys and we will recommend them to anyone who needs any type of service they offer!! Amazing!!
