Amy from Glo Beauty Bar did my hair and makeup trial for my wedding and did a great job. The wedding services at Glo are much more affordable than any of the other places I could f...
ind, so you definitely save. We ended up just going with hair instead of hair and makeup for the day of the wedding, and she did mine and all my bridesmaids so quickly! We had extra time just to hang out and enjoy mimosas because she was so efficient and on time. My bridesmaids were all so happy with how their hair looked, which is great considering she had never seen any of them before. I would recommend doing a trial and if you're looking for value Glo is a good option.
I live out of state and I only got one trial to make it perfect! Half way through my trial, the receptionist told my makeup artist that she just booked her again in 15 MINUTES! My ...
makeup artist told her she would be finished!!! So not only did I feel rushed and looked over, BUT I didn't even like the final product! I couldn't ask to change it because she had another appointment. 80$ is ridiculous for a make-up trial, let alone not making sure its perfect before you rush them off! NO THANK YOU!
This place is amazing!! I was planning my wedding from across the country and they were very flexible with me scheduling my hair/makeup trial just days before my actual wedding. I ...
looked at so many hair/makeup vendors and Glo was by far the most affordable, especially for my bridesmaids. Amy and Povati (?) arrived at my hotel right on time and did the hair and makeup for myself, my 6 bridesmaids, my mom, and my husband's step-mom. Originally, not everyone was going to get their hair and/or makeup done, but they saw what great a job the stylists were doing and wanted to get their hair/makeup done, too! The stylists didn't have a problem with that since we were running ahead of schedule, which was really nice.
I absolutely loved the way my hair and makeup turned out - it was even better than my trial! I wore my hair down, which was risky since my hair doesn't hold curl well, but it stayed in place the whole day. I felt very pretty!
I highly recommend Glo!
Charity came and did makeup the day of my wedding for myself (bride), mother of the bride and several bridesmaids. Her artistic work is second to none, she really listens and under...
stood what each person wants before painting on her magic. She makes sure everyone is comfortable with the amount/style of makeup while pushing you to make sure you get the best photos and overall look possible. She went above and beyond for my wedding day, she was a an absolutely pleasure to be around and really helped lighten the mood on what can be a stressful day!
I don't usually wear any makeup beyond powder and mascara so choosing a makeup artist was scary! But she totally put my fears to rest and as a result my photos are absolutely stunning. I cannot recommend her highly enough!!!
What else can I say about the team from Glo but they are AMAZING! They were so quick and on top of everything that I hadn't even had a chance to get upset about the rain when they ...
whipped out the "water proof" airbrush gear and went to town. I hadn't planned on it before, but they had the entire set up in their case and started assembly lining everyone to get us in!
My make up looks flawless (I wish I looked in real life like I do in those pictures!) and my hair was everything that I wanted it to be, romantic and flowing but still stayed in place when we danced.
I can't say enough about Jessica, Charity and Alexis. Thank you thank you thank you!
