I cannot recommend Alex who owns Glitter & Gloss Beauty enough! From start to finish, she went above and beyond to make sure I felt confident, beautiful, and cared for on my weddin...
g day.
One of the things I appreciated most was how accommodating she was the day of the event— she even let me change my hairstyle the morning of the wedding without hesitation, and it turned out absolutely perfect. She also offered thoughtful recommendations and suggestions throughout the process, which made me feel at ease and helped bring my vision to life.
Her attention to detail was unmatched. She did multiple touch-ups leading right up to the ceremony, ensuring I looked fresh for photos and the walk down the aisle. My bridal hair and makeup lasted flawlessly all day and night — I received endless compliments, and everything still looked incredible well into the evening.
Beyond just my services, she was an amazing team leader. She coordinated and organized a group of artists to cover over 23 hair and makeup services for my bridal party and family, and even jumped in to support the other artists when needed. Everyone looked amazing and felt cared for, which is such a gift on such a busy morning that ended up flowing effortlessly.
She also did my bridal spray tan, which looked so natural and lasted beautifully well into my honeymoon.
Overall, Alex made me feel stunning on the most important day of my life, and I’ll forever be grateful!
I hired Alex to do my bridal hair, my mother’s hair, and three bridesmaids’ hair. All the updos turned out beautiful!

o have on your vendor team. I enjoyed chatting with her during the hair preview and the actual wedding day. We laughed a lot and she is just so sweet and personable! She also is great at listening to feedback and making any adjustments as needed (which, in the end for me was not much because the trial was so lovely). The final updo was equal parts fun and elegant.
Second, my mom was worried about her short, fine hair and how it would hold being professionally done. Alex made her feel so comfortable and her hair turned out stunning. She was so happy with it, which was not the case at the last wedding she had her hair done at with a different vendor. My sister also has really fine hair that has a tough time holding, and her hair stayed beautiful all night. Everyone was happy with their hair and enjoyed the experience.
Next up, I can’t wait to try her tanning services!
Alex was amazing to work with! Professional and makes you feel comfortable! I loved my makeup wedding day!
Working with Alex was an absolute dream! From the moment I met her, I knew I was in good hands. Not only is she incredibly talented, but she's also one of the kindest souls you'll ...
ever meet.
On my wedding day, Alex worked her magic and made me feel like an absolute queen. She listened to exactly what I wanted and brought my vision to life flawlessly. I felt so beautiful and confident, all thanks to her amazing skills.
But what really blew me away was Alex's willingness to go above and beyond for her clients. When my photographer offered to do an additional session the day after the wedding, I panicked at the thought of having to do my makeup all over again. But Alex came to the rescue and squeezed me in for a last-minute makeup session, making sure I looked just as stunning as I did on my wedding day.
I cannot thank Alex enough for her talent, professionalism, and kindness. She truly made me feel like the most beautiful version of myself, and I am forever grateful. If you're looking for a makeup artist who will make you feel like royalty on your special day, look no further than Alex. She's an absolute gem!

makeup. The owner, Alex, was AMAZING to work with. She was quick to respond, answered all of my questions, and created a perfect schedule for the day of. We had our bridal hair and makeup trial about a month before my wedding. Alex was a great at sharing her thoughts on the inspiration photos I brought to the trial. She did exactly what I asked for at the trial (hollywood curls and glam makeup), however, after the trial, I realized that I wanted a softer makeup look and more beachy curls. She was able to make those changes easily on the day of, and my hair and makeup turned out PERFECT and lasted all day! Her team was professional, they listened to everyone's thoughts and opinions on their services, and were able to make changes if someone wanted something different. If you are getting in married in the Seattle area, you need to hire Glitter and Gloss! Thank you Alex!!

I even went to sleep with my lashes on on the night of the wedding, and woke up with them still on perfectly! I highly recommend Alex. She made me feel so beautiful and calm before my wedding.
