My wedding was rescheduled due to COVID and they fit me and my bridal party in last minute. They even made us feel safe with the precautions they were taking with COVID- wearing ma...
sks, sanitizing everything, etc. We had a blast during the appointment, and everyone’s hair and makeup looked fantastic! I can’t wait to use them again.
Everything about Glass Door was PERFECT! The staff is so wonderful to work with! Michelle is so great about working with you on scheduling, figuring out your style, and even confir...
ming details! I was so fortunate to have Erin and Ashley as my team for wedding day. Erin helped me with my trial run and did an amazing job, but both girls absolutely rocked it for wedding day! They came to the location, had so much fun, and made me and my bridesmaids look flawless. Erin was a shield for all my stress, as we had the most fun getting ready. She is so great about making sure your look is exactly what you want, even if you don't even know exactly what you want! This team can do it all as even my extended family was able to get nails done, offered spa treatment, and make up at the salon while the wedding party was getting ready! I cannot begin to express my gratitude for this awesome staff!
Initially I had only planned to get manicures and pedicures done here the day before the wedding for myself and 5 others (all of which turned out great, by the way). During that ap...
pointment I received an email from the hair/makeup artist that I had hired to come to my hotel the morning of the wedding that she may end up cancelling due to Hurricane Florence. The ladies at Glass Door overheard me talking about it and when we checked out they said they had 3 openings for hair/makeup the next day (morning of the wedding) and that even if we needed the services but couldn't tell them before they closed, to just show up the next morning and they would hold the spots for us. My initial hair/makeup artist cancelled so my 2 bridesmaids and I ended up going to Glass Door the morning of the wedding. It was a great experience - there is a bar area where you can have food and drink and the ladies got started quickly and were so accommodating. My bridal hair/makeup was by Antigona and was WONDERFUL - turned out that I liked it better than my initial trial with the artist that cancelled. I had natural looking airbrush makeup and a classic updo. With my thick hair, updos are extra work but Antigona did a great job. My hair stayed in place all day even through the gusty winds from the hurricane! I felt so special and taken care of by these ladies on my wedding day!
What a pleasure it was to work with Glass Door Salon for our hair and makeup needs the day of my wedding! Myself, my bridesmaids, and the two mothers had the whole run of the salon...
all morning/early afternoon, and it was a blast! We could bring in our own music, and food and drink, so it really made the whole experience so nice and relaxing before the wedding! And of course, our hair and makeup turned out great!!
We would highly recommend this salon! Erin did an fantastic job for all the ladies and my bride. They all looked very beautiful and amazing! We couldn't ask for anyone better!! She...
also came to the rescue by helping us transform our white boutonnieres to pink to accommodate the cultural colors for our wedding. She was very helpful and was very attentive to our needs. She is AWESOME!!
They were a great salon to work with!!! I had 10 bridesmaids, myself, and my mom to get ready. They knew this and provided 3 women when really it should have been 4 since we were c...
runched for time. Other than that EXTREMELY happy.
Erin, the salon owner, traveled to my event venue to ensure I had a relaxed morning of pampering! She just gave birth to her second daughter and was incredibly flexible with her ti...
me, which was important to me as I was traveling from the coast for trial runs. Erin made the time for me, even during her maternity leave, and made me feel like I was her #1 priority. She was equally as wonderful the day of my wedding. She fit in with the wedding party and joked and really got to know everyone involved in my big day. I felt like she was a part of my family, and I truly appreciated that. We connected through our love of literature, which eased my nerves.
Her skill is NUMBER ONE. She nailed my vintage hair and make-up look with exquisite finger curls and an updo that was to die for. She made me feel glamorous.
Erin also took the time to connect with my sister-in-law, who was my maid-of-honor. She has down syndrome and really wanted to have her very first hair styling for my big day. Erin danced and sang with her and made her look and feel like a beauty queen. I have never seen her smile that big in my life.
Thank you, Erin. You are a beautiful person.
I cannot say enough good things about this salon. I used them for my wedding hair and makeup, as well as for spa treatments leading up to my wedding. The salon itself is very brigh...
t, clean, and welcoming. The staff are all friendly and professional. I had 3 facials leading up to my wedding, and it was a great experience. I am not one to pay too much attention to skin care, and the esthetician did a great job of explaining how to take care of my skin and was very gentle during my facial. I also worked with a manicurist to find the perfect nail polish color for my wedding day, even going as far as mixing two gel colors together to get my perfect shade. She was always patient with my sometimes strange requests, and gave great advise and ideas for my wedding-day manicure.
The morning of my wedding, I had two makeup/hair artists from this salon work on me, my 5 bridesmaids, and my mother. They got us all completed on a ridiculously tight timeline, and the makeup and hair were flawless. I had the airbrush makeup done, and my skin has never looked so wonderful. They were very good with picking makeup colors that looked good on all my girls' different skin tones, and everyone looked beautiful.
Overall, this is just a wonderful salon in general, but I was especially impressed with how well they did on my wedding day. I will most definitely be returning to this salon for more services in the future!
I am so happy that we used Erin and her team at Glass Door Salon and Spa for our wedding! Erin is one of the friendliest stylists I've ever met, and her whole salon is full of the ...
nicest people! Compared to many other salons offering wedding hair and make-up, Glass Door is very reasonably priced! I met with Erin a couple of times before the big day to try out different styles and she was great about helping me decide what looked best. My hair and make-up looked GORGEOUS for my wedding! I've never felt prettier. Erin and the ladies at Glass Door also did the hair and make-up of my bridesmaids, flower girls, my mom, and my husband's mom - and everyone looked AWESOME!
