Amber is an incredible person and artist. Her experience and talent made me feel at ease and excited for my big day from the moment I booked with her. As a makeup lover, I knew I w...
as going to be particular about my glam for my wedding day. After learning about her years of experience, reading her reviews, and seeing her beautiful and diverse portfolio of work, I knew I needed to book with her. I'm so happy to get to add to her incredible reviews, because she was such an important part of making my wedding day the best day of my life! She was professional, kind, and SO much fun to hang out with while getting ready. My bridal party had a variety of different levels of comfort with makeup and types of coverage, and Amber and her second artist Shari went above and beyond making sure everyone felt beautiful. Everyone, regardless of age or style, was obsessed with their makeup. My makeup lasted all night--seriously. I'm usually quick to get oily, and I didn't need any touch ups beyond my lipstick the entire night. It also looked incredible in my photos. Her technical skills as a makeup artist combined with her personality and ability to listen to clients make her the perfect choice for your wedding day. You will look and feel beautiful, inside and out.

She was so sweet at my trial, and I LOVED my makeup, so my sister and I ended up booking her to do our rehearsal dinner/welcome party makeup the day before my wedding - I'm SO glad I did!!! Amber's calm presence and our conversation helped soothe my wedding weekend nerves. I truly have her to thank for helping me be so relaxed going into the weekend!!!
On the day of, Amber and her friend Sandy provided makeup services for me, my mom, my sister, and 5 other women. They were punctual, professional, and kept everyone calm and chatty. Everyone looked beautiful, and they really listened to each person's preferences to create a look that felt like them. Amber was flexible as I had some changes from my trial, and created a look that made me feel SO beautiful and confident, but still like myself!!!
Amber truly felt more like a friend than someone I had hired, and I'm currently trying to come up with reasons to get my makeup done by her again!!! <3

I knew from my trial that the makeup would be stunning, and the day of was even better than I thought. Also, every member of my bridal party felt super comfortable with Amber and truly loved their makeup look. Amber does a great job of making you feel like the best version of yourself - not too done up where you don't recognize yourself, but enough that your makeup will showcase beautifully in photos. I felt like the best version of myself, and my makeup lasted all night. I wish I had another excuse to get my makeup done!

ds. Amber and her team did a FABULOUS job on the hair/makeup for our wedding party and mother. Amber and the team were friendly, compassionate, so SWEET, and easy to talk to. My niece is a hair/makeup student and they even took time to counsel her and let her shadow them for the day. Giving her that extra time and boost of confidence meant the world to her and our family. They did as many touchups as needed, and gave a little extra to our flower girl. I would absolutely recommend Glam with Amber Helverson to anyone, and will definitely use them in the future if the opportunity arises. We are so grateful – Thank you!
Amber and Sandi are the BEST! Not only are they incredibly talented but they are kind, patient, organized and made my wedding morning stress free! 20/10

d she made all the small changes I requested for the perfect look on my wedding day. Regina also did a wonderful job on my hair, although it didn’t quite survive through the whole dancing portion of the night. She and her team were also very efficient at making the getting ready schedule for everyone in my bridal party and accommodating when we had one fewer person last-minute due to COVID.

beat! My trial blew me away and I was convinced that I picked the right girls! On my wedding day, they were both punctual, upbeat, flexible, and responsive to each of my bridesmaid's hair and makeup requests. We even finished a little early which gave me and my girls some time to relax before getting ready for photos which was nice. I felt absolutely beautiful on my wedding day and my hair and makeup didn't move whatsoever even after cutting loose on the dance floor! I would 100% recommend Amber and Gina for any wedding in the future! Thank you so much!!

municative through the wedding planning process and so, so kind! She has an amazing, happy energy that you just want to be around all of the time. I decided to change up my palette colors for my wedding day than what I decided on for the trial. I gave Amber a heads up before the wedding that I wanted to change the colors and she was totally down and ready for it. Day of, she absolutely knocked my expectations out of the park. I received so many compliments and I truly felt so beautiful. Her team made my extremely large bridal party SO happy as well! Her and her team fit right in with us the morning of our wedding. The vibes were immaculate and Amber & her team contributed to the fun. Thank you so much for making my wedding morning & makeup absolutely amazing!!

while working with her and ensured all of my needs/requests were met. I am always the person to say I like a service and then go home and cry and fix it myself, but that was not the case with Amber. I felt like I knew her for years and I was able to voice my concerns openly without any hesitation or pushback (not that I had many concerns, if any). I cannot recommend her enough!

and Steph (hair) work with us for our wedding along with 2 other stylists. Jenn and Steph ran through trials with both myself and MIL, as well as chatting through ideas with my sister and mom. They were very open for adjustments and suggestions. As we had a younger bridal party, I wanted to ensure everyone looked sleek and modern (as I don’t always love typical bridesmaid’s updos). Steph did multiple styles (ponytails, half up, buns, and updos) and everyone absolutely loved the way their hair came out. Jenn’s make up was a perfect mix of natural glow with beautiful dramatic eyes. They were also such kind, fun and calming presences that were much needed on a hectic morning! I would highly recommend this team to anyone and so loved having their support for our big day 😊

ess Amber was easy to contact and talk with, and she truly listened to what people wanted for hair and makeup, and Regina, Leah, and Olivia did the same. The day of the wedding felt so relaxed and it was so much fun, and a lot of that has to do with the stylist’s amazing personalities and efficiency with timing. We had 11 women who needed hair and makeup done, and they handled everything so well with such a large group-we were even finished ahead of schedule!!! I would highly recommend Amber and her team for your wedding day! They were beyond incredible and I can’t thank them enough for making myself and my bridal party feel and look so beautiful!
