We used Girl About Town for a bachelorette set up in Scottsdale. Our experience was ultimately disappointing, as it took multiple emails the week before we arrived to confirm arriv...
al/set up details and check out was a nightmare. Our check out time was 10 AM, and after multiple texts, calls and emails there has been no response from the team and the coordinator’s phone is off. Our Airbnb host was not happy, as it has been over 2 hours since check out and still no confirmation of clean up or any indication that they plan to come at all.
We initially purchased a package for $470 and were excited for the set up, only to arrive and see a lackluster set up that was not reflective of what they post online. After messaging, they were accommodating and redid our decorations which looked great and the bride was happy.
Ultimately, this company has a lot to learn about communication and professionalism. Looking at other bad reviews, you see the same canned response from the owner which doesn’t reflect any real effort on their part to fix these issues. Overall, be wary of the money you are spending for a set up like this.
