George Street Photo & Video

. You are able to pick from several photographers in your local area. They also provide you with their portfolios as well. I highly recommend them. They also give you access to every photo taken. I couldn’t be more happy.

sted in making sure everything went smoothly. On our wedding day, the photographers and videographer blended in seamlessly while still managing to capture every special moment - the laughter, the tears, the little in-between memories. Our photos are breathtaking, and our wedding video is something we've already watched countless times. We cannot say enough good things about George Street!

d timing of getting my photos was above and beyond! Such a great experience - highly recommend!

has to go through what we did. What should have been a joyful part of our wedding, turned into one of the most frustrating and emotionally draining experiences we’ve ever had. From the start, there were serious problems with our photos and video. Important moments were completely missed, angles were poorly chosen despite our clear directions given in advance, and the video quality was shaky and unprofessional. Our photographer gave little to no guidance, and the videographer’s demeanor made the experience uncomfortable. It took over four months just to receive the original video—and many months more to get a version we could even consider acceptable. Throughout the process, we were handed off from person to person, having to re-explaining everything over and over. No one seemed to take real ownership, and we never truly felt supported. Eventually, they offered us a small $200 refund—but only if we signed a legal agreement within two days, giving up our right to leave public feedback. At that point, we still hadn’t received the raw footage or a completed edit. We’re incredibly thankful we didn’t sign under pressure and lose our right to leave honest feedback. They later retracted the offer and instead pushed print credits, despite us repeatedly stating we weren’t interested in products. The fact that they have this process—offering products in exchange for silence—makes it clear this isn’t an isolated situation. They have a system in place to deal with unhappy clients and value a fake reputation over honesty and transparency. Their business model prioritizes volume over quality. They assign whoever is available, with no guarantee of fit or professionalism. You might save a little money, but the stress, disappointment, and lost memories simply aren’t worth it. We are heartbroken that many of the most meaningful moments of our wedding were missed or mishandled. While we eventually received our raw footage, the emotional toll was far too high. Please—DO NOT BOOK THIS COMPANY—You deserve better. On your wedding day, and especially after it.

. I would not recommend this company. The price is good but you get what you pay for.

y affordable compared to other photographers in the DC area!

ought it was very well priced. We would definitely recommend their services

edding day through their videography service! It’s so nice to have both a short hi lights video and a longer in depth wedding video. Prices are an amazing value for what you get. Extremely happy with customer service. My photographer and videographer were so kind and encouraging, I loved having them capture my big day!

pher until we were connected to them. On the day of the wedding, our photography and videography team were stellar and made us feel comfortable throughout while getting all of our requested shots. The final products could not have been more perfect either!

e we were looking for. Stephanie ended up being the photographer we went with and we very glad that we did! We had a video conference meeting prior to our day and from that initial meeting, we could tell we made the right choice. Stephanie was very warm and enjoyable to work with! She guided us through different poses and made us feel at ease! One thing to note is that the associate photographer and videographer are assigned to you without selection. With that being said, we couldn't have asked for better videographer in Willie or associate photographer in Kayla. Willie guided us through different scenes and it was clear from early on that he takes a lot of pride and passion in what he does! We really appreciate George street, Stephanie, Willie, & Kayla for making our event very special!

g. Mason was very accommodating with our special photo requests. I highly recommend them.

essional but also incredibly personable, making us feel relaxed and comfortable throughout the day. They captured every moment beautifully, from the intimate exchanges to the joyous celebrations. The quality of their work is impeccable; each photo is a cherished memory frozen in time. We couldn't have asked for a better experience or a more talented group of photographers and videographers. Thank you, George Street Photo And Video, for capturing the essence of our special day so perfectly!

best package, photographers, and a videographer for our wedding vision! We just got our wedding video, photos, and album back. Everything turned out amazing!

booking them as I have no real good memories of the most special day in my life because their work is so bad and low quality. Additionally, they add so many extra fees and costs for the smallest edits and will charge you hundreds of dollars to see the raw content of your own wedding. Very shady business and I advise everyone to stay away unless they want to be scammed.

us walking out. Once the ceremony was done the pictures with my wife and I were outstanding! We had an amazing reception and the pictures of it were in high demand from all of our guests. Couldn’t recommend George Street Photography anymore they were sensational!

carefully and was very cooperative throughout the event. Pictures were edited and uploaded on time, with no worry at all. I would recommend GS to everyone!

and the client portal was easy to manage. Definitely recommend!

g and spent time in making our experience memorable. I highly recommend it.

and comprehensive. They have subcontractors from the area local to you who are all really great - it was hard to choose who we wanted, but Erica's style matched our own. We had no trouble the day of the event and Erica even stepped in when other vendors failed. Thank you George Street!

nning so they make sure they pair you with the right photographer. My photographer was Jeff. Who took some great shots and if I had any ideas really brought them to life. I would/ have recommend George Street to anyone looking for a photographer!

s with the perfect photographers (Nick and Peter) and videographer (Albert) to suit our style and our needs. Our photography and videography team were incredible and came to our wedding on time and the pictures and video exceeded our expectations and were beyond beautiful!! Cannot recommend working with the team at George Street highly enough

t many photographers were out of our price range but also providing services we did not need. George Street fit exactly what we were looking for and were easy to coordinate with. The only drawback was that the suggested photos they provided were less polished than we probably would have preferred. On the plus side they gave us access to ALL our photos so we were able to pick ones we liked more or make additional edits as needed, but on the minus side that was extra work we didn't necessarily have time for. Still happy we used them and pleased with the service!

which they were able to accommodate with minimal hassle, and a $250 fee. We had Eric as our photographer, who was wonderful, and was able to help us through our busy day. Our pictures all came out looking great, and they gave us digital copies of all of the photos taken throughout the day at no charge within 2 weeks of the wedding. However, it is worth noting that they have a very strict policy of not providing the photographer’s contact information, until 1 week before the wedding. However, since our wedding was on a Friday, they did not provide us with Eric’s contact information until the Monday before the wedding, which caused some stress as we already had other events scheduled, and so we felt rushed doing the lead up discussions with Eric.

tgrapher to suit our style, our ceremony, and our budget. Our photographer, Erica, was nothing short of incredible. Her warmth and genunine excitment put everyone at ease and made us feel like she was another member of the family. What's more, she somehow managed to be everywhere at once, capturing not just the big moments but also all the small, intimate ones. Each photo truly captured the joy, love, and happiness of our special day. Cannot recommend working with the team at George Street highly enough!

y was one of the best decisions we made during our planning process. From the first moment we connected, Erica was an absolute joy to work with. She listened to our ideas and desires with the utmost attention, truly investing her time to understand the vision we had for our big day. Her kind and professional nature immediately put us at ease, ensuring we felt comfortable and confident throughout the entire journey. On the wedding day itself, Erica was truly a master of her craft. She blended seamlessly into our celebration, capturing candid moments and pure emotions with an unobtrusive grace that is rare to find. It felt as though she was everywhere at once, yet never in the way. Her ability to put everyone at ease resulted in genuine smiles and spontaneous laughter frozen in time through her lens. The quality of Erica's work is nothing short of spectacular. Every photo she delivered is a piece of art, each telling its own story of our special day. The attention to detail, her understanding of light and angles, and her uncanny ability to capture the perfect moment left us in awe. Erica has a true talent for catching fleeting moments - the ones you don't even realize are happening, making us relive the day with every picture we see. In short, we wholeheartedly recommend George Street Photo and Erica to anyone in search of a wedding photographer who brings a personal touch, artistic vision, and unparalleled professionalism to their work.

otographers contact info, etc) they had a manager call me back within an hour. It was so fast!!! Price was reasonable. I think we paid $2500 for 2 photographers and an engagement session. I booked on a Black Friday deal (which I also recommend) definitely book when they have specials!

s, and dedication to anyone. The photos from the engagement shoot and the main event came out beautifully. Our secondary photographer was also very friendly, but it was a bit stressful when he showed up late and he stuck pretty closely to the main photographer. Overall it was a great experience.

om them. When I reached out to see what the delay was, all they said was that "Your team will be in touch with you shortly." I then had to reach out again in 3-4 weeks in order to get any movement from this "team." After a lot of back and forth, and STILL NO PHOTOS we decided to cancel our contract. Oh, and they won't give the deposit back. In fact, they're charging us 50% of our total fee...without any photos or sessions scheduled. Ridiculous contracts, snappy representatives, and I wasn't allowed to speak directly with the photographer. All around a weird and stressful experience to begin our wedding planning with.

at all costs. The most important piece that I want to provide is that they did not provide the quality video that was promised, they admitted that it was poor and not their usual quality, and still refused to provide the full refund for the video. Their answer was to provide a partial refund and try to have me sign a confidentiality agreement so that I would not be able to provide a review. As I thought that this was an atrocious way to do business, here is my review. I have a longer detailed review on yelp and google for those who are interested in my experience with them. Please don’t make the mistake of going with them.

u want to accomplish on your special day , this company will ensure it happen rest assured.. I highly recommend!! You will not be disappointed!!!

our Engagement shoot and the wedding pictures. Our photographers were excellent, going above and beyond to make sure we were satisfied.

he photographers and videographer were all so friendly and fit right in with our guests and captured so many great pictures. We are thrilled with the all the pictures and videos!

nd honored all of our requests. She was professional and very talented. We wanted to stick to a firm timeline so that we would be able to attend/enjoy our cocktail hour, Katrina made that happen for us! All of our photos came out amazing!!! We are so pleased!

ur initial photographer became unavailable during covid. They took wonderful photos and gave great direction when it was helpful but weren't more involved than necessary throughout the day. Would definitely recommend their services.

g from October 2020 to May 2021. And when the initial photographer we selected (and did our engagement shoot with) couldn't work our May wedding date, George Street made sure we had another amazing photographer. Nick was the best! I gave him the specific formal family pictures I wanted at the church and then told him to get all the shots he thought would look good (details pictures of my dress/jewelry/etc) and he did not disappoint. The turnaround time for getting our pictures was surprisingly quick and we love that we could share our gallary with family so they can get their own prints. Overall, working with George Street was an amazing experience!

day so smooth and easy. Their recommendation for lead photographer in the DC area was perfect because ours was phenomenal! From the day of to the editing and delivering of products everything was so smooth and seamless. And what a deal! We are so glad we went with George Street and would highly recommend them to anyone needing a all-around team!
