Philadelphia Wedding Photography & Videography with a Polished, Textured Aesthetic
George Street Photo & Video creates polished, candid Philadelphia wedding photography and wedding videography rooted in emotion, light, and texture. Our imagery blends airy natural light with moody, high-contrast depth, resulting in photographs that feel ethereal yet grounded. We compose each frame with intention by highlighting architectural elements, layered textures, and genuine movement to create timeless, refined storytelling.
For couples drawn to a Modern celebration, we use clean lines, minimalist composition, and architectural framing to create sleek, high-contrast imagery with a polished finish. In Industrial venues, we lean into textured brick, steel beams, dramatic shadows, and moody lighting to emphasize depth, structure, and atmosphere.
Our photojournalistic approach allows moments to unfold naturally while we guide portraits with subtle direction. The result is a cohesive collection of wedding photos and video that feels authentic, elevated, and beautifully composed.
Our customizable wedding photography and videography packages start at $1395 and are designed for intimate gatherings, grand celebrations, and multi-day events. We tailor coverage to your style, timeline, and priorities while ensuring a seamless and stress-free experience.

I was glad I had a wedding coordinator that was able to help with this because I did feel like they put this more on the consumer. We received our pictures and videos back in such a timely fashion.

My experience with George Street has been extremely frustrating and disappointing. The process is unclear and confusing.
At this point, I feel that the way the service is presente...
d is unnecessarily confusing and gives customers the impression that they are receiving something substantially different from what they actually get. That is deeply concerning and leaves me feeling misled and taken advantage of as a customer.
I would not recommend this service based on my experience, and I strongly encourage anyone considering it to go with anyone else.

Unfortunately, our experience with George Street Photo & Video has been very disappointing. One of the biggest issues has been the lack of communication and failure to follow throu...
gh on promised time frames.
We were given specific expectations regarding when we would be able to move forward with scheduling, which have failed to be honored. When we have tried to get updates or clarification, communication has been slow and inconsistent, leaving us feeling like we have to repeatedly follow up just to get basic information. At this point we have waited an unexpected three months to schedule an engagement session, and are still struggling to complete that. We have also paid a large deposit, which adds to our frustrations.
Based on our experience so far, we would encourage other couples to be more thorough in their search for a photographer/videographer team.

We had one lead photographer, Doug, for our wedding. He is INCREDIBLE, my family and friends could not stop praising how good he was. The preview shots were posted onto the portal ...
about 4 days after the wedding and Doug had amazing shots. There are thousands of talented photographers out there, but Doug had the qualities of a genuinely good person that made the day so much fun. He was great with the kids-- super funny and patient. He also made taking pictures really fun, especially for me and my now husband who don't love getting formal pictures done.
I can't say enough good things about Doug and George Street.

from was amazing. The George Street Company reached out to us and through conversation and interviewing to find out what we were looking for, our likes, interests, etc they matched us with several photographers to look at and narrow down to the perfect one for our special day. Dave communicated with us to the day of the wedding and with our wedding coordinator to make sure all things were ready for the day. He made sure to cover all requests we asked for and so much more. Following the wedding the prints were done at a reasonable time which was wonderful. We highly recommend George Street!!

After partnering this company with my client, I received *six separate emails* from George Street Photography stating that I would receive a $25 gift card for every review I posted...
—up to $100 total—for writing reviews across four different platforms. Eventually, I decided to follow through because, as a planner, I found the review process simple enough.
After submitting my reviews, I was told they would verify them before issuing the gift cards. Two weeks went by without any communication, so I followed up. At that point, I was told to send screenshots of my reviews, which I did immediately. Then, I was asked to send links as well—again, I complied, though it was becoming clear I was being given the runaround.
Today, I finally received an email stating that the gift cards were sent—to an email address that doesn’t belong to me. When I pointed this out, I was abruptly told that I was *not eligible* for the gift cards after all.
This is not about the gift cards themselves—it’s about principle and integrity. Offering incentives for positive reviews is already questionable business practice, but advertising those incentives and then deliberately avoiding honoring them is dishonest and unethical. It’s misleading, and frankly, it’s shameful.
I’m deeply disappointed that a company like George Street Photography would stoop this low just to inflate their online reputation. I can only imagine how many others have been subjected to similar tactics and empty promises. Shame on you, Nora, and anyone else involved in misleading your customers and partners. You’ve lost not only my trust but any future referrals from me or my clients.

tors were extremely helpful and very responsive (and in a timely matter). Our lead photographer Elyse was AMAZING! She made everything feels so comfortable. Our assistant photographer Jessica was also GREAT! Video, Rob was WONDERFUL! All three of them made us feel at ease with the process of everything and took the time to understand what we wanted. They all worked so well with our timeline, especially since we only had set aside a small amount of time for getting ready. Not once in the day did I feel uncomfortable or in the way of what they were doing. They made sure to check in with us when they could without it being too much, understanding that we were being pulled all over already.
Pricing with George Street was very reasonable. They made sure to go over the package beforehand and did their best to accommodate our needs. They were very understanding to stress of making sure the timeline worked, and so patient working through it with us!
I couldn't have picked a better Photo and Video company for our very important big day!

I'm writing this review both as a client of George Street and a long time photographer.
From the first consultation with George Street, I saw some amazing talent in the photos we ...
were shown. Everything was completely up front and spelled out.
Now, getting to the value of the service and the package. I've never seen something like it. We received over 2000 edited photos, in full resolution, with no watermarks, free to print or use however.
As for the photographer we went with: One of the best wedding photographers I've had the pleasure to work with, both in personality and talent. Could not have asked for a better photographer.
After the wedding, it only took a few weeks to get all our images uploaded to a gallery.
Could not have been happier.

When we received the final photos from our special day, we were blown away by the level of craftsmanship and artistry. Each image was a work of art, it provided a sense of happiness that we experienced during those precious moments. Thank you so much to this company. I know I’ve seen a bunch of negative reviews but we had 0 issues with this company! They did amazing and we will forever enjoy looking back at our photos. Downright horrible experience from start to finish. If you want to look back at the photos and videos of your wedding and be disappointed, then this business is for you. I'm embarr...
assed to show my friends and family the majority of the photos and both videos I received from George Street. The quality of images and videos looks like an amateur took them. Only ONE usable photo of me and my father walking down the aisle, shaky and abrupt camera work while video tapping our reception speeches, I could go on. I was promised that the photographer has experience working at my venue and she didn’t which led to a chaotic picture taking experience.
I would never recommend this business to anyone. They do not hire experienced professionals, take no accountability for the quality of their work and don’t care about your feedback to actually improve. For a business in the wedding industry, they don’t care that they're ruining people's weddings. Sickening.

ased with the knowledge, patience, and flexibility of everyone that we had the pleasure of working with. It felt like everyone really took the time to understand what we were looking for on our wedding day, and made sure we got exactly that. Our wedding plan coordinator was Nora and she was wonderful! There is so much to keep track of when planning your wedding, but I never felt any pressure or impatience as she helped me work through details. I appreciated her communication in the months leading up to the wedding and in making sure everything was squared away. Doug was our photographer and there are no words to fully express how amazing he was. Not only did our photos turn out beautifully, but he was so reassuring throughout the day, and even showed me a few along the way in real-time! He was such a calming presence and had a remarkable ability to sense what I was thinking before I even knew how to express it. I had never met someone and immediately felt like I'd known them my whole life, but I felt that way with Doug! Overall, the team at George Street made me feel like they all fully understood that it was our day and they were all there to support us, and I would recommend them 10 times out of 10!

We had a great experience with our photographer Rachel for our March wedding. She also shot our engagement photos and did a great job. She was personable and gave us easy poses to ...
do for awesome end results. This vendor definitely does more photo journalism style shooting, so if you’re looking for something more stylized it may not be for you, but we love the candids and the realness.
We had a few hiccups in the journey, so I would say it was more of a 4.5 star experience, but I would rather round up than down. I had specifically asked for 1:1 shots with each bridesmaid. On the day of, we shot these photos but I didn’t get them in our deliverables. I did have to reach out and specifically ask for them. There were some great photos that were put in the “additional photo” mass dump of 1,000+ images that were easily better than images they chose for “editors choice.” I’m not sure how that process works but I did find that interesting. Lastly, I did need a number of photos edited, but they quickly made the fixes and they look great. I do think their communication can be a bit all over the place because you email a general address and multiple people will reply with their own chain and conflicting answers. For example I emailed asking for an ETA on edited photos and I got one email back with the link to the edited photos and then hours later got an email from a different person saying the images were still being edited and there wasn’t an exact ETA yet lol.
Overall, they were fast, affordable, and we had a great experience.

I am not usually one to write poor reviews, and I waited until I got my album in the mail to see the full end product, but the only positive things I have to say are that everyone ...
is really nice and I like how their website is set up.
However, I feel like despite the very lengthy questionnaire they asked to be completed, it wasn't really read at all or used to get the photographers better acquainted with what we were looking for despite that being the goal.
And I am unfortunately extremely disappointed in the photos. My husband and I struggled to find 50 good enough to put in an album (out of over 3000+), and when we got the album we found a lot of the photos to be dark or a little blurry, almost all were off-center, and the ONLY photo that was taken with the flower girl in it we realized they CUT HER OUT of the photo for our album! My fault for not realizing that when I was reviewing the digital example but... seriously? In addition to many of the photos being off-center, I would say at least 85% of the formal/stand-still/family photos have people awkwardly positioned or only 2-3 snaps were taken so we don't have one with everyone looking at the camera or smiling.
Additionally, I was a bigger sized bride (size 18) and I made it very clear that certain angles were unflattering and that I wanted some coaching to avoid certain things being front and center in my photos. That was a complete fail. I do not hate my body in any way, but I know that there are ways to take more flattering shots. I honestly have maybe 2 photos that I loved but none that really captured the magic of the day or were what I was hoping for after reviewing example portfolios from George Street's website.
Just overall really sad and disappointed.

Loved our photographer - Rachel! She worked with us well to ensure we captured all of our special moments.
However, we were not satisfied with the editing the company did. From po...
werlines in photos to choosing not preferred photos to edit. We did get a lot of photos unedited/edited. But overall, the edited photos almost look like only a simple filter was added to it.

d us select which package worked best for us. The online portal was perfect for organizing our day of timeline and making our payments. We also got to speak directly with our primary photographer, Rachel, and easily connected on putting together our wedding day vision. We couldn't have asked for a better photography team than Rachel and her assistant, Tanya. They captured our wedding beautifully and the entire process of working with George Street couldn't have been more smooth.

I was very pleased with George Street from start to finish. Everything was streamlined well and I was very happy with the response times, online portal, and the photographers/video...
grapher. Alexa, the lead photographer, Thomas, the assistant photographer, and Graham, the videographer, who came out to capture our day were super fun, friendly, and accommodating.
The only part I was dissatisfied with was that out of the thousands of amazing photos, there was not a single photo taken of our guest book/gifts table. Luckily, that is a small detail, but I still found that odd. I just wish I could have seen the final look of that table and used that in an album. So my only suggestion is to make sure the photography team scopes out every aspect of the venue, and captures every detail they think a bride would want. Otherwise, they did capture EVERY other detail perfectly, so it's definitely not worth giving one less star review over.
The execution of our photos and video was also superb! The quality of the main video and highlight video were so crisp and I felt the production team did an excellent job. I am so happy I purchased the package that I did! It was so worth it!
