Melody and her colleague did an amazing job on my bridal hair & makeup as well as bridesmaids and mothers (of groom / bride). They arrived ahead of schedule and went straight to wo...
rk. They were easy to get along with and even made last minute changes when requested for each individual's preference. I would highly recommend them for any of your formal hair / makeup needs!
This was the best experience I (the bride) have ever had with a hairstylist. Melody is the stylist and the owner and she was the lady that did my trial run before the wedding. She ...
has such a wonderful personality and she is so easy to get along with and talk to. For my trial, all I did was show her a picture of my hairstyle and makeup ideas and she made my dream come to life. I had scheduled my bridal session the same day as my hair and makeup trial and Melody put all of her effort into making me feel beautiful, she put fake lashes on even though they weren’t supposed to be included in the trial day. On the wedding day, it was Melody and her assistant Donna and they were both wonderful and efficient. They communicated well with each other, they were very organized, and they were talking with us girls as if we had all known each other forever. Her pricing is out of this world also and she does not charge for mileage which was a huge saving grace for me. I highly recommend her to anyone wanting to get the biggest bang for your buck. We loved everything she did.
I worked with Dawna from Gentry's Hair Studio and she was great! She was very adaptive and open to changes I made. My rehearsal was included in her pricing. She took everything tha...
t I didn't love from the rehearsal and improved upon it for the wedding. They traveled to our venue and were on time, set up everything themselves, and were timely getting us all finished. She made all of my bridesmaids feel beautiful and comfortable, and really made my mom and hubby's mom feel pampered. Having her and her glam squad there to do hair and makeup took such a load off of the entire wedding party.
As the bride, I felt really beautiful, listened to, and relaxed working with Dawna. I have no makeup experience, but she knocked it out of the park. I'm so grateful I had her on my wedding day!

Gentry Hair studio went above an beyond for me. I had been struggling with hair loss and she made my hair look fun and full. She made sure that everything was perfect and to my lik...
ing before letting me leave. As I got my dress it had fallen and got wrinkles. She was steaming it so I could finish getting my makeup and jewelry on. She didn't have to do that but she made sure my day was as calm and stress free as possible. 10/10 would recommend

efinitely be using her and her team again!!!
I wouldn’t have trusted anyone else with my hair on my big day. I didn’t bring Melody any pictures of what I wanted. Just told her what I had in mind and she brought it to life!
They came in and went straight to work making wedding party look great. The girls hair and makeup looked great and age appropriate. When it came to fixing me they did a wonderful j...
ob, they was able to make this mom feel good and look nice. But the best was my daughter, the bride. They fixed her hair like she was wanting and her makeup enhanced her beauty. She was a beautiful bride and Melody and her assistant helped make that happen. They were a joy to have during the wedding preparation process. Thank you so much for coming to Alabama!
