he date and time. I paid in full and signed the contract. On 10/22 we spoke over the phone and agreed to start the shoot at 5 p.m. The day of my wedding, 10/25, we were running behind and weren't quite ready at 5. The photographer hadn't shown yet, I didn't press the issue since we weren't ready anyway. Around 5:30 I started to panic, I called multiple times, text and emailed. Genevieve text back saying the contract said 10/26, she didn't know why or how the 26th came into the picture but that's the date on the contract, a contract that she created. I was offered a refund and a free portrait session, as if that was supposed to make up for not having professional pictures of this important life event. A moment that can't be recreated. What was supposed to be the happiest day of my life quickly turned into sadness. We had to rely on friends and family to take pictures on their cell phones.
