About this vendor
We are a husband-and-wife–owned entertainment company based in Los Angeles, curating classy live music for weddings, corporate events, and private parties. We specialize in creating the perfect atmosphere with volume-appropriate background music for cocktail hours, ceremonies, and receptions of all sizes.
Our groups are typically small combos—duos, trios, or quartets—with a jazz-inspired vibe, though we also offer larger bands for high-energy dance parties. While many of our acts resemble traditional jazz bands, our repertoire spans all decades and genres, tailored to each event’s unique style.
Our musicians have performed for a wide range of clients across Southern California and beyond, including Las Vegas, the Bay Area, and even Chicago. Past corporate clients include Netflix, NBCUniversal, Disney, Beam Suntory, Lexus, and American Express, to name a few.
We’re always honored to play a part in our clients’ unforgettable moments through the power of live music. As both musicians and event professionals, we bring a deep understanding of how to enhance the flow and feel of a celebration—always with elegance, intention, and a personal touch that reflects each couple’s unique story.

GB Entertainment put on an incredible performance for our wedding! We had a DJ booked for our reception, but really wanted to incorporate live music into our wedding somehow. After...
seeing the GB entertainment duo performing in Playa Del Rey, we knew they were the perfect fit for us.
We booked them to do our ceremony and cocktail hour. The ceremony was pure magic. They performed a custom rendition of Lana Del Rey’s song Video Games that brought tears to people’s eyes (including my own) as I walked down the aisle. They truly brought that ceremony to another level.
For cocktail hour, they were absolutely rocking! We have professional musicians in our family who were congregated around the bass and guitar and absolutely loving the performance.
In addition to the beautiful music, we appreciated how easy they were to work with. Planning and communication was a breeze. They even brought two sound systems so that the ceremony and cocktail spaces were ready to go one after another with minimal down time, so the party always continued.
I can’t recommend these guys enough!
I knew I wanted live music for our small wedding (60 people) and was hoping for a group that could make that transition from the small ceremony to the dinner effortless. Max made t...
he process so easy for me and made wonderful suggestions. The group ‘Round Midnight made everything feel so rehearsed and preplanned which is incredible because my first time meeting with them was on my wedding day. I put all my faith it them and they did not disappoint. I’ll be honest all I shared was what songs I wanted them to cover for the ceremony and what genres/artists we like, and they took care of the rest. Max suggested announcing our entrance as a newly married couple and for the entrance the band covered Signed, Sealed, Delivered (I’m Yours!)—wow! Just wow! Again I didn’t plan this, but they are mind/vibe readers and just knew what to do. That’s one of my favorite songs, and I’m sure they just know because of how experienced and talented they are. Worth every penny, and I know I’ll recommend them to others.
My husband and I recently hired GB Entertainment for our wedding celebration. We were blown away by the overall service we received and had an exceptional wedding as a result. The ...
communication from Max was prompt and concise and he also curated a specific experience for us for both our ceremony and reception. From collecting talent to meet our musical preferences and curating a personal playlist, GB Entertainment ensured our experience was true to us and also executed our special songs beyond our expectations. Max really went above and beyond to make sure the day was special for us. Not to mention, how exceptional each individual musician sounded. The dance floor was full the entire evening and we received incredible feedback on the music from our guests. If you’re on the fence between hiring a band or a DJ, the investment was completely worth it and was the highlight of our evening. You won’t regret hiring this team, they’re truly outstanding.

tional to walk down the aisle to) and create pieces that were memorable and truly spoke to us as a couple. Once cocktail hour started, they became an amazing trio, providing music that everyone loved and was the perfect addition to our day!

Love this band! I heard them at my brother's wedding last year. They were so good that my brothers BF hired them at their wedding following, and now I hired them for my own wedding...
this October. If you are a couple who loves quality music and are music connoisseurs, Max and his band should be your jam. They are very talented at their craft and are just amazing musicians. PLUS Max and his band are so easy to work with and their pricing is so reasonable as well. Thank you Max and your band for making my wedding so memorable for us ALL!
We hired GB Duo as our live band to play during cocktail hour for our wedding, and they exceeded our expectations. Arrival and set-up went smoothly, and they played our song reques...
ts. Unfortunately and naturally as the bride and groom, we were pulled to different places and were unable to actually enjoy the live music for the majority of the time. However, so many of our guests came to us afterward to tell us how much they enjoyed the music! Please do yourself a favor and hire GB Duo as your next live band!
I can't say enough good things about GB Entertainment. Not only are they wonderfully talented but they are an absolute pleasure to deal with leading up to the event. Having them pe...
rform was one of the highlights of our wedding. I'm looking forward to booking them again.
It was an absolutely pleasure working with Max Benson (owner) of GB Duo from the start of my inquiry through to the actual performance at on my wedding day. Per my request, he adde...
d an additional musician to make his duo a trio with a sax player. The trio for my wedding ceremony and cocktail hour were fantastic! They learned how to play Claire de Lune by Debussey for the processional and then played At Last by Aretha Franklin for my walk down the aisle with my father. As for the recessional, they played Isn't She Lovely by Stevie Wonder immediately after our first kiss! It was perfect timing!!
Following the ceremony, GB Duo moved swiftly from the wedding ceremony location to the off-site cocktail / reception location before any guests arrived. It was really impressive. At the cocktail hour, they played smooth and upbeat jazz music and I received many compliments from my guests for their musical talents. Their music really dressed up my wedding day!
Thank you so much GB Duo for providing outstanding ceremony music and upbeat and fun cocktail hour music for my 150 guests to enjoy. I am truly grateful for hiring your team for my special day! Cheers and thanks, Morgan & Chris
We blindly (from reviews alone) hired GB Duo to play at our wedding and chose to add the amazing vocalist because of our special song requests plus the amount of guests we were hav...
ing, and we are so glad we did!!! Max and his group were incredibly talented and kept our party engaged throughout the whole perfect evening. All of our guests commented on how much they loved the music and how much fun they had!! Max is exceptional to work with, he’s very accommodating and made us feel comfortable with our choice right from the start. As it turned out my son’s girlfriend, (who is a very talented event planner) uses them for many of her events. We’re definitely going to hire them again for our next big occasion. Thank you so much to the three of you for making our wedding day extraordinary❤️!
