He was open to doing anything we wanted and gave the BEST suggestions for our favorite shots. Now that engagement shoot was so much fun but he blew us out of the water for the wedding day. From the moment he started the day with us it was non stop for him! From taking individual shoots and making both of us feel beautiful/ handsome to organizing our rather large wedding party for the bridal party shoots, he was on top of it! that we didn't need to worry about - and that held true on our wedding day! Gary and his second photographer Allie Bennett were amazing. They showed up on time, and not only were extremely professional, but also had this great energy about them that made having them a part of your day a true pleasure! At the wedding preparations, they took this great journalistic approach, catching all the special moments as they unfolded as well as capturing photos of the all the details. There were a few special photos that I wanted, and they made sure to take a quick moment to squeeze them in without holding us up. At the ceremony, I honestly can't say I even remember them being there, but know they were by the amazing photos they took! They knew how to be in the right place without being in the way. After the ceremony, we had let them know some key family that we needed to get photos with and Gary worked like a well oiled machine to quickly get all the combinations with ease, making sure not to miss one person. But where he really shined was when all the family photos were done. Gary worked with us to capture some absolutely stunning photos of just us enjoying our first moments as Mr. & Mrs. that we'll cherish forever! At the reception, he made sure to catch every important event throughout the evening and checked with us to make sure. Not only was he fun to work with, he also made us feel fabulous, telling us how fun our wedding was, and how taking photos of us was so easy! These little touches show he connects with his clients and really cares about how they are enjoying their wedding beyond his job as a photographer. There was no question that the success of our day was just as important to him as it was to us. We highly recommend him, and could not imagine anyone else being a part of our day!

we would need an additional photographer. He assured us we didn't. I liked him. We felt really confident that even though we were spending $2000 more than the other photographer we were considering (jpg), and the other photographer was going to bring 2 extra people, we were in good hands. The engagement session lasted only one hour, and the pics were terrible. It was really his first time getting to know us, so maybe he didn't know our best angles. My parents wanted to pick Gary over JPG because he was supposed to be good with posed shots, and they really wanted to make sure all of our family had group shots together. She explained this to him, and he agreed, asking her to follow up with an email listing the shots she wanted. She did. I emailed Gary the room location where I would be getting ready. Gary arrived at the hotel and texted me asking where the room was. He never checked his email. He found the room, eventually. My make-up was almost done at that point. No one took any pictures of my husband getting ready. Gary asked to take pictures of my dress. We asked if it could wait until we got to the venue, so we didn't have to unpack the dress. It was silk charmeuse, and we were afraid it would wrinkle. Apparently, it couldn't wait. He promised to be careful. He took pictures of the dress and left it unpacked, leaving us to figure out how to pack it back up to transport it. After arriving at the venue, and putting on my now wrinkled dress, Gary started taking pictures. He took great pictures of me. He took some good pictures of me and my husband, and he took some mediocre pictures of me and my wedding party. After the ceremony, my husband and I went to the bridal suite, expecting Gary to take pictures of our cocktail hour. Some of our friends complained to us that they had a great picture set up, and went looking for the photographer. When they found him, he wasn't taking any pictures, he was collecting plates of appetizers for himself. Apparently, he needed 3 plates of appetizers! He was just sitting down, enjoying cocktail hour as if he was a guest. He'd been to that wedding location before, so he knew he would be getting his own large dinner. During the reception, no one could find Gary! Where was Gary? If you can believe it, he was making out with his "assistant". No one wanted to upset me during the wedding, but after the wedding, around 30 people complained about him to me and my husband. He took around 700 pictures, though he promised us 1000. Oh, and those posed shots he promised my mother? He never took them. As he was trying to leave the venue, I told him I was pretty sure he didn't take the pictures my mom asked him to take, and told him to talk to her. He claimed he never got the email. Then my mom made him open up his email, and there they were, right in front of his face. His response? "Well, I never checked my email." Yeah, obviously. Even if he didn't check it, she also spoke to him about it. So, our whole reason for hiring him in the first place turned out to be for nothing. To add insult to injury, he attempted to charge my parents an extra $1500 for the wedding album, which was supposed to be included in the contract. He finally agreed to give us the album for what we had already paid.

little complex but he made sure to fully understand the members and took all necessary shots the day of the wedding. He brought another fantastic shooting assistant with him that day (Blonnie). Extremely artistic and fun to shoot with for the staged shots. For the ceremony and reception, they were unobtrusive (in a good way! I didn't want to have to walk around photographers when walking down the aisle!) - but whenever something important was happening and needed to be photographically documented, they were there! Gary is a phenomenal photographer and I highly recommend him!! We cannot wait to see the photos - based on the teasers, we are in for some memorable photos. Photography was one of the wedding sections I was willing to splurge on - a good photographer is SO important on the big day. And we are so happy we went with Gary (and that he was available!!)

l photos I have ever seen, he is a delight to work with. He is fun, charismatic and just perfect. He went above and beyond to fix my hair, dress and my mess of a bridal bouquet. I love this man, nothing nicer that I could say. I am still getting compliments from guests about how amazing he was!

You can't help but gasp when you see his pictures afterwards, to see the sort of angles and vision he has to his pictures. They truly capture a moment you didn't even realize was possible. outside the hotel we were married at and he went above and beyond making sure the space was clean so my dress stayed clean (this was super important since my pictures were taken BEFORE the ceremony)! Would absolutely recommend Gary, he truly loves what he does and it makes for great pictures!
