A Magical Reception at Garibaldi – Truly Unforgettable!
We hosted our daughter’s wedding reception at Garibaldi in Savannah, and it was absolutely perfect from start to finish. Th...
e evening was filled with elegance, warmth, and exceptional service that we will never forget.
The passed appetizers were creative, delicious, and beautifully presented—our guests are still raving about them! Dinner was phenomenal, with every plate served hot, fresh, and full of flavor. The drinks were flowing all night thanks to the private bar, which gave the reception such an exclusive, intimate feel.
While the dance floor was small, it added to the charm and brought everyone together in the best way—it felt personal and joyful rather than over-the-top.
The room itself is breathtaking, and somehow it only became more stunning as the night went on. The lighting, the architecture, the ambiance—it all created this romantic, glowing atmosphere that was the perfect backdrop to such a special celebration.
The staff was flawless—attentive, professional, and always one step ahead. They made sure every guest felt cared for, and we felt completely at ease knowing they had everything under control.
Garibaldi was more than just a venue—it was part of the magic. We couldn’t have imagined a better place to celebrate our daughter’s big day. Five stars all the way!
We held our wedding reception here this past weekend. Pamela and her team were extremely attentive and dedicated to helping us plan our reception, paying attention to every detail....
The food was delicious and the staff were some of the nicest and most flexible I've ever encountered. I highly recommend this place if you're looking for a wedding on the smaller side.
We held our wedding reception at Garibaldi’s restaurant on April 23, 2022. Our guests are still raving about the food, the beautiful atmosphere, and “service with a smile.”

ldi’s is a gorgeous venue. Our cocktail hour was amazing. A seafood bar and a cheese and fruit station were quite popular. In addition, butlers passed Calamari and crab stuffed mushrooms to name a few more. At reception time, they presented each guest with a menu of selections to choose from. Then the food is prepared fresh. My guests were impressed. The quality of the food was excellent.
In planning our wedding, we worked with Pamela. She guided us through the process of making recommendations for the cocktail hour and reception. She helped us plan what to serve at the cocktail hour, reception, and how much we would need for each. She also recommended other vendors along the way. Leopold’s ice cream cart was a huge hit at the wedding.
This place was the best. Staff was so friendly and they went above and beyond to make everything special for us.
Garibaldi was an amazing place for the reception. The ballroom was a perfect space for our 75 guests and a band. Meghan was absolutely wonderful to work with, so easy to communi...
cate with, and made sure every detail was executed. The service was wonderful, food was delicious, and it was such a beautiful space. We could not have asked for anything better.
We really can't thank Meghan, Gerald , and the entire team at Garibaldi! The food, décor and service were all excellent! We did not have a wedding planner so my mom and mother-in-...
law went over to Garibaldi's the morning of the wedding and worked with the servers to make sure every detail was just perfect. The upstairs dining room really does not need much decor at all but the staff did an amazing job of setting up our centerpieces and candles, etc. The space was perfect for our reception of 80 guests and the DJ table was tucked perfectly behind the stairs. We wanted to host an elegant, fine dining experience for our closest family and friends and Garibaldi's was so flexible and diligent in making that happen!
Garibaldi is the perfect location for a wedding. The upstairs ballroom offers such beauty by itself you barely need anymore wedding decor than just the beautiful bride and groom. W...
e had the cocktail party downstairs which was a great environment to start the evening off. The wedding that the Garibaldi staff helped me achieve had a sense of Savannah elegance, southern romance, and sophisticated fun. Meghan, the event coordinator, was very helpful in the planning process and day of coordination. Everyone went out of their way to make the event the most beautiful day of our lives. If you are lucky enough to book Garibaldi as your wedding reception site I highly recommend booking them.
Bianca with Garibaldi Cafe made the entire wedding planning process so easy! She is beyond AMAZING! The service from the servers the night of the wedding was perfect and our guests...
loved the atmosphere! And of course the food was delicious!!! We couldn't have picked a better place to have our reception!
We had our rehearsal dinner here on November 1st and people are still raving about it! Megan the event coordinator was amazing and really made the night special for us :)
Very nice to work with and very helpful and accommodating. I had 64 people total at my wedding, 8 tables of 8, and the upstairs space we rented had plenty of room for two cake tab...
les, sign-in table, gift table, DJ area, and a dance floor. The food was amazing, everyone enjoyed the menu we chose and the wait staff was very professional and pleasant. The room itself is beautiful. There are mirrors on all the walls that reflect the candle light to make it very romantic and glamorous. There isn't a rental charge on the room which is nice and they had all the tables, linens, etc so we didn't need to rent anything to make this the perfect location for our wedding. I highly recommend Garibaldi's.
We had one of their simplest menus, but for a small change of price they agreed to substitute one of the desert options for their almond and berries basket (which is to die for!). ...
They were also very accommodating to requests from our guests.
The food, prepared by Executive Chef, Gerald Green, was phenomenal! Two months later, I still have guests calling me w/ compliments on it. The staff were friendly and welcoming and...
gave 200% all afternoon. I did not use a wedding planner and created the tablescapes myself and they were fantastic about placing everything just as I envisioned it! They worked really well with my DJ, baker and photographer to make sure the space was open and our guests were comfortable. Overall Garibaldi's did an amazing job with our wedding.;We had our reception in the upstairs dining room and I would just caution not to use this space for more than 75 guests. We were 60 and quite comfortable, with 8 round tables for 8 and a sweetheart table for my husband and myself. With the DJ table, the cake table and a guest book table, the space was pretty well filled.
