Loved this venue the view and the reception hall!!! Such a great place for a wedding!! Sandy was amazing at helping us through the process and making everything so easy! Only downf...
all was the reception hall was 80 degrees the whole day of my wedding so we had no relief from the heat outside and a lot of guest didn’t party or drink due to the heat!
The Garden Club was a great venue for the price (in comparison to what else is available in the same area)!
A gorgeous view of the river and crystal chandeliers added to the ambia...

We had our cocktail hour outside in the garden area around the fountain. Gorgeous setting!
Judy was extremely helpful in answering all of my questions and making me feel at ease.
One of the things that benefitted us greatly as far as budget was being able to bring in our own alcohol for the event (as we were not selling it).
They also provide 15 eight foot tables in the rental cost for the ballroom and have several chair options (for rental) as well. Also, 75 parking spaces were available to our guests.
Wow. To start attitude is everything. When you (aka me the bride) walk in to a venue and automatically they start with the cannots. That is no way to begin my tour. It IS VERY impo...
rtant to know these cannots but come on lady have some tact or explanation. Not just sorry nothing can be hung on the walls. What so the table decor is all I get? Okay I could maybe look past that, but then to use the exact words "the ugly brown" chairs. You are darn right they Are ugly, but is that how you sell place.I think not. Further more the ugly metal chairs wouldn't be so ugly if they just spent $50 on painting them when even spray paint would be better then what we saw. When I mentioned paint could make all the difference, she simply replied " They would still be ugly" Wow LADY WHERE IS YOuR MANAGER?? If that is how they want you to talk about their establishment to a potential client, shame on them. THE WORST THING OF ALL IS THE RIDICULOUS RULE ABOUT THE FLOWER GIRL!! Apparently, even thought you are in a flower garden, the FLOWER GIRL is not allowed to throw FLOWERS. Real biodegradable flowers. What a joke, and waste of time. Please dont waste your time if these things may bother you. Oh yeah, and the "amazing waterfront view" is blocked by the private parking for your guests. no view there just cars and metal fence :/
If you want old world charm and the flexibility to make your venue your own, this is the place to go. The venue itself is pretty enough that we focused our efforts on centerpieces ...
and tables for gifts and favors and such. The patio was wonderful for guests and also allowed us to get some wonderful sunset shots right next to the river. The staff was easy to work with and the price was right. Plus, we were able to bring in all our own vendors, and our own alcohol, which saved us a lot!
The Garden Club is a wonderful place, our wedding was amazing and the staff their was great as well. I would recommond them to anybody
This venue was easy to work with. we chose to have the wedding on New Years eve, so the price was the most expensive. for any other day, this venue has the best value.
