Gail baked the BEST cupcakes and treats for my wedding! She even took on my food intolerances (dairy and corn) and made us cupcakes with no butter, that EVERY guest LOVED! Sorry I...
just can't contain my excitement, she's just that good. Almost everywhere I go I can't have dessert, so it was a huge deal to me that there were treats I could have on my big day. She also made us cookies and churros and brownies and blondies... We just had this whole table loaded with handheld goodies. I can't recommend her enough! She's professional, detail oriented, arrives on time, and bakes the best cakes in town.
P.S. I'm usually not a cake person, but her cupcakes were my FAVORITE dessert!!!

It's been over a year since our wedding, and my wife and I were hesitant to write this review. However, we just passed our one year anniversary, and not having our anniversary cake...
due to Gail Thompson forgetting to bake our wedding cake, pushed us over the edge. When we first met Ms. Thompson, my wife and I fell in love with her passion, her story, and her delicious cakes. The tasting went perfectly and she even made cupcakes for the wedding shower. We were so excited to work with her. Fast forward to our wedding day. After our ceremony, and before the reception, we are informed that we will not be having a wedding cake. Despite having booked the date months in advance, paying in full, confirming the date and time 1 month prior and 5 days prior, Ms. Thompson simply didn't bake our cake. Not only that, but our wedding planner tried repeatedly to contact her on the day of the wedding with no success. Upon looking at her Facebook page the following day, there were multiple posts on the days leading up to our wedding with her baking cakes and cupcakes for other events. She simply forgot to bake our cake. Several weeks after our honeymoon, we did receive a full refund with a half-hearted apology letter in which she offered to bake us an anniversary cake for free. We never heard from her again. Furthermore, we came to find out later that Ms. Thompson baked the wrong cake flavors for a friend of our's wedding also. I hope that our wedding cake is the only one she ever forgets to make. She makes fantastic cakes, just be wary of the follow through.

Gail was an absolute treat...and so was her cake! When we went for our tasting she had a spread of all her different flavors and gave us each a glass of milk! She created a beauti...
ful 3 layered cake with cascading sugar butterflies. The groom's cake was not exactly what I expected, but I'm not sure I was specific enough for her. Either way they looked and tasted amazing! Price was also very affordable and she worked with our budget.
Gail made our wedding reception very beautiful. The cake and service were excellent. The cake was great quality with the perfect blend of ingredients. My guests were very impressed...
with the quality of the cake and taste. The cake melted in our mouths. The cake decorations were well designed exactly like the sketch previously designed. My theme was beach and romance and it was captured in the cake design. We were so amazed when we walked into the reception room. My experiences of having a destination wedding were great and I encourage anyone thinking about having a wedding at the #1 beach in USA(Siesta Key, FL) please have your cake done by the professional-Gail Thompson's Cake.

Gail Thompson can bake a pretty tasty cake but when my cup cakes arrived at the reception site my Future husband knew I would be upset. Yes, I told her she could be creative but t...
he cup cakes did not look like any of her previous work. They were terrible. The colors were bleeding all over the place and it honestly looked like a 1 time baker/mother baked them for her child's 1st birthday. It was pretty bad. However, the topper was beautiful. She was affordable but I could have baked them my self if I didn't want pictures of my wedding cake...
The cake tasted and looked wonderful. The attention to detail was amazing.
