We served Hong Kong–style egg waffles with ice cream at our wedding, and the response from guests was amazing. Many people mentioned they had never had egg waffles like this before...
, and loved how unique and special it felt.
The dessert station itself was very well organized, clean, and beautifully presented. It blended seamlessly into our wedding aesthetic while still feeling fun and different from traditional dessert options.
For our wedding, we wanted a dessert that felt meaningful rather than traditional, and the Hong Kong–style egg waffles were exactly that. It was a nod to culture and comfort food, ...
but presented in a way that still felt refined and appropriate for a wedding. You really don’t see this style of dessert offered anywhere else.
The waffle and ice cream station was thoughtfully set up, clean, minimal, and very charming without trying too hard. It became a quiet highlight of the night, and guests loved discovering something new while still feeling relaxed and familiar. I’m so glad we chose GADANI Café for this part of our celebration
We chose GADANI Café for a wedding dessert station, and it was such a special touch. Their Hong Kong–style egg waffles are truly unique, not something you can easily find elsewher...
e. The waffles were perfectly made, and the ice cream flavors were creative and memorable.
The setup was very boutique, clean, and beautifully styled, fitting perfectly into a modern wedding and very Instagram-worthy. Our guests loved it, and it felt both fun and elevated. I would absolutely consider GADANI Café again for wedding catering, especially for couples looking for something different and stylish.
Our guests absolutely loved the Hong Kong–style egg waffles at our wedding. A lot of people came up to us saying they had never had egg waffles like this before, which made it feel...
extra special.
The setup was cute, clean, and very approachable, and people kept going back for seconds. It added a relaxed and joyful vibe to the evening that guests really enjoyed.

My (now) husband and I worked with Gadani as our des...
sert vendor for our wedding in July at Palm Event Center in Pleasanton. We found Gadani from a Facebook recommendation, and Maegan was quick to reply to my inquiry with prices and options. I was able to customize the package to fit my wedding needs better as well, which was great! Pricing was also fair and affordable imo when compared to other dessert vendors for weddings.
Maegan invited my fiance and I over to their shop for a complimentary tasting as well so we could decide if using their services would be something we wanted. We were able to try out all the different ice cream and waffle flavors, which were fantastic! The waffle was nice and chewy, and the ice cream flavors were rich/flavorful. Our guests absolutely loved the dessert and they were beyond excited we had this option for our summer wedding! We were able to have 4 ice cream flavors, 2 waffle flavors, and 4 different toppings for guests to choose from. Guests could also opt out of the waffle if they just wanted ice cream.
Maegan, Lena, and the rest of the Gadani team were so kind, sweet, and professional during our wedding. My partner and I are SO GLAD we went with Gadani as our dessert vendor. The girls were so sweet and such a joy to work with!! They even gave us a little wedding gift at the end of the night, which was honestly so thoughtful!!
(Sorry I don't have any photos to post from my wedding yet, but we enjoyed working with you guys so much!!)
We'll be back to Gadani to visit and eat some more delicious bubble waffle ice cream again! :)
