Gabelli Studio

or I booked—just a month after getting engaged, I was VERY eager to book him! John, Jim, and Gabby have been so helpful, responsive, organized and overall just truly lovely people while going through the wedding planning process. We had such incredible experiences with the Gabelli team, from our engagement shoot all the way through our wedding day. Everyone was professional, kind, and amazing to work with. I will be in a wedding this spring where John is the photographer, and I’m already looking forward to working with him again! Feeling comfortable with your photographer is so important since they are with you for the entire day-- my husband and I felt exceptionally comfortable with John and his team! The Gabelli team was such an important part in making our day perfect. The quality of our photos and the creativity in each moment captured left us speechless. These images tell our story so beautifully and are memories we will treasure forever. I cannot recommend the Gabelli team enough!

cisions that we have made for our wedding day on 12/12/2024. Their eye for detail is nothing short of extraordinary, from the first time that John did our engagement shoot, and then on wedding day - we were in awe! They made our wedding day a breeze, they followed our huge shot list and knew exactly what we wanted and for that we are so thankful! Outside of their work, they were absolutely amazing to work with all day and be around. Their personalities are so fun to be around. They truly made our wedding day beyond special and i’m so grateful to have amazing, high quality photos that showcase our wedding day but the teams talent as well!

what to do to capture the best shots. Our wedding day was an absolute dream and the entire process of photo and video was seamless and so easy. As soon as John walked in, his warmth and compassion made everyone feel so comfortable and everything went perfectly. They knew the grounds and best spots for pictures and posed us without question. We are so grateful and appreciative to have hired them and will absolutely be recommending them to other couples without a doubt!

is team of John, Jim and Josh captured our entire day - acting almost as project managers throughout - to ensure we got every shot, enjoyed all of our moments, and were so fun to be around. Couldn’t recommend them more, now we just can’t wait to pick our favorites, which we know will be so hard!! I want to get married again just to hangout with this team. They are AMAZING!!

edible way he worked with us and our families. My groom’s party felt completely comfortable around him, and he even gave us helpful tips on how to pose, which made the entire experience so natural and fun. John is not only a true professional but also such a genuine and kind human being. Our friends and family noticed his dedication and hard work throughout the day, and both Lisa and I are beyond grateful that we chose him to capture our special day. We will cherish these memories forever. Thank you, John, and thank you, Gabelli Studios! — Hugo & Lisa

able and truly got to know us as a couple - he made it an easy yes! We loved that we got to do an engagement shoot session prior to the wedding so we could get to know each other's style and way of working. During the planning leading up to the wedding, Gabby was so great and attentive to our questions and needs. She took the time to understand our vision and personalize the approach and timeline for the day of. The day of the wedding, John and his team were exceptional - not only were they so prepared and professional, but they were also so personable, fun, and put everyone at ease! Everything felt so natural, and they truly let our love shine through the photos and video. Their work speaks for itself and we could not be happier!

f the best decisions we made for our wedding day. This was our first time shooting with them (no engagement shoot), yet they instantly made us feel like naturals in front of the camera, like we'd known them forever. They were cracking jokes, bringing such a calming, joyful energy — exactly what you hope for on a day that moves so quickly. When we initially met with Jim, we explained how important it was for us to get guest 'testimonials' on video (think 80's wedding style, mic passed around the table sort of thing) - and Jim worked with us to make that dream come true. Gabelli came highly recommended through our venue, and now we know why. We’ll absolutely be calling them for any future milestone moments in our lives. Thank you, Gabelli Studio, for capturing our day so beautifully and making it such a joyful experience. We cant wait to see the photos and videos!!!

bsolutely perfect. When I met with John, I explained him that positive vibes were really important to me, as I've been part of weddings where the photographers were very demanding. John, Gabby, and Josh understand that this is the most special day of your life, and they added to the magic of the day. Also, John knows the Pleasantdale inside and out so he knew the perfect spots to wander to so that we could get incredible pictures. Also, when we tried to peer pressure Josh into doing the limbo he totally joined in :) Truly can't say enough great things about this team.

with us throughout the entire planning process and customized their approach and day of timeline to fit what we envisioned for our day. The team made us feel comfortable and confident in front of the camera and the photos came out amazing. They are true experts on the venue and knew the best spots to take photos and to also accommodate the shots that were important to us. John, Jim, and Josh are so pleasant to be around and bring incredible energy to their work. We loved spending the day with the team and are grateful for how wonderfully they captured every moment of our day.

end them to everyone. My mom also has not stopped commenting on how great the photography team was and how excited she is to see the pictures. Gabby was great to work with and answered all of my questions and helped me with all of the planning leading up to the big day. John even jumped on a call with me throughout the process to answer questions I had. No question was ever left unanswered. John, Jim and Josh worked my wedding and were such a pleasure to work with. I’m a very nervous and anxious person by nature, but the day of my wedding I was calm and at ease because it was very clear I was in good hands and the team knew what they were doing. They were professional, fun and time efficient. I cannot wait to see my wedding photos but based on how stunning my engagement pictures were, I know they will be nothing short of amazing! If you book them, you will not only be able to sit back and enjoy your day but you’ll have stunning photos as well!

r approach to fit our vision. Nothing felt forced; everything was so natural, and that’s evident in the AMAZING photos they captured during both our engagement shoot and wedding day. The photos came out more beautiful than we ever could have imagined. We especially loved how they turned what can sometimes be a stressful part of the day—photos—into something genuinely enjoyable and fun. They made us feel incredibly comfortable in front of the camera and kept us, our families, and bridal parties laughing all day, which made a huge difference. John, Jim, and Josh are a joy to be around, they bring incredible energy and passion to their work, and it truly shows. Having your photographers with you for the majority of your wedding day, it really is so important that they match your energy, put you at ease, and keep things running smoothly. The Gabelli team did all that and more, and our wedding wouldn’t have been the same without them. Spending the day with them was an absolute blast. We couldn't have asked for a better team to be with us on our wedding day, and we’re so grateful for how they meticulously captured every special moment. We absolutely adore the Gabelli team and cannot recommend them enough!!!

large bridal parties and families and made sure we had the best shots. Plus, he was so personable and made the day feel fun and made us feel special. Gabby provided excellent communication leading up to our wedding. We also did our engagement photo session with them and the photos came out amazing. We are so happy with our choice to use Gabelli Studios and will recommend to anyone!

y reflects in our gorgeous photos! And the photos, everything I could have imagined and dreamed of. I will truly cherish the pictures forever. They are truly experts, knew the venue so well, they got every shot that I requested and even more. Gabrielle stayed in contact with us before and after the wedding! Asked what specific shots were important to us and rearranged our schedule according to what we had planned for the day! And continued to update us after the wedding for when our photos would be ready! The team made all our family and bridal party feel comfortable and we all had fun during the photos which I know can sometimes feel long. I couldn't have imagined having anyone but Gabelli Studios photograph our wedding, I am beyond happy with all the photos we got back, and would recommend them to any bride!!!!

ning for the day put my husband and I at ease that each special moment we were hoping for was captured. The photos came out absolutely beautiful, and we could not be happier with our experience in working with them.

onal! They tailored to our individual needs and dynamics and knew exactly what photos to take and when. They used all of their available surroundings to get shots that were one of a kind. All of them were super friendly and went above and beyond! They made sure all the details were perfect. They helped us create a timeline for our day and it was perfect, and we were not rushed at all. They beautifully captured our entire wedding night. All of the photos produced by Gabelli are absolutely stunning! We would highly recommend Gabelli studios for your wedding photos. You will not be disappointed.

ess and quick to respond! We worked with Jim for our engagement shoot and worked with him and Jason for our wedding day along with their assistant Ben. They were the absolute best - we cannot say enough about them. They made us feel extremely comfortable in front of the camera and made the day so enjoyable! We would highly recommend working with Gabelli for your special day - they were the absolute best!

obtained all the photography coverage we requested and willing to work outside the box.

p on instagram just a few days after our special day. Choosing a photographer is always a big ask because you know they will spend the day with you and really set the tone and schedule, and my husband and I are so grateful to have had Gabelli capture the memories from our wedding day that will last a lifetime!

long the way. We hadnt been thru the weddng process before and we had MANY questions and Gabby and John had patiences and very very informative. Helped with a timeline which was extremely useful. I strongly recommend Gabelli Studios without hesitation!

nsure all the small details were covered. We consider them like family and I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a photographer and videography. We are so excited to pick up our photos. From what I saw they are so special and timeless. Really I can’t say enough great things about them! A big thank you to Gabelli for being apart of our day.

y could not believe how easy going and fun it was to take pictures. The guests had so much fun interacting with the team and cannot stop talking about it. They were all simply wonderful. Usually photographers and videographers fall to the background and are rarely noticed, but the team truly made our wedding so much fun by the way they interacted with the guests. They did not just capture beautiful memories but also helped to make them! John shot our engagement session, and with how breathtaking those photos were, I can only imagine how beautiful our wedding photos will be! I cannot fail to mention Gabby. She was so responsive, pleasant and wonderful to work with! She always responded to my emails right away and was always ready to help! Although she was more “behind the scenes”, this experience would not have been as amazing without her!

start to finish! Jim is amazing, his light-hearted demeanor is a pleasure to be around and makes you feel comfortable instantly. His team day of the wedding was just as lovely – professional, agile, and easy-going. Goes without saying that Gabby was also a pleasure - accessible, organized and collaborative throughout the entire process. Great energy all around - from the planning to the engagement shoot through the wedding. We look forward to using them for the next big life moments!

hem enough.

deal and I wish I could give them more stars on this review.

om them - and I know why...they made timing seamless! They knew their way around the grounds (Pleasantdale Chateau) and were beyond efficient. They gave us great insight on pictures we should take, and helped to ensure we had a smooth day from start to finish! They were not only professional, but fun and energetic! I am a pretty awkward person sometimes, and they made me feel like a princess! They also moved my body and told me how to pose for optimal angels...this in itself made the world of difference to me because I felt like they cared, not just snapping pictures.. can't recommend them enough!

ne day. Needless to say this was definitely an important decision to make. Because of the distance we met John through a zoom call for our initial meeting. His personality alone sold us on booking him. He and his team, yes Gabby I’m talking about you too, we’re so responsive and helpful at every turn. Every detail was meticulously planned out before our wedding. Day of our wedding John and his teams showed up A few minutes early to set up, and take pictures of the details in each of the houses we were in. John promptly came and introduced himself to me while I was getting my make up done and continue taking pictures of the girls at my house until I was ready to get ready ready with him. John was absolutely amazing! My veil was extra long, and everywhere we went he held both my train and Val making sure it always looks great and it wasn’t falling out every 10 minutes. He did a fabulous job with my huge family. He was patient with all of my aunts uncles and cousins as well as nicks family coming in and out so we can get all of our family portraits. He even got close to 80 people in one picture for my side. I was so amazed at everything that he did! The rest of the weekend the only thing my family and friends wanted to talk about was how amazing and fun and funny our photographer and videographers were! Even with my family being amateur photographers and videographers themselves, our professional team allowed them to take their pictures and videos, and they had fun together! I would recommend John and his team to Annie soon to be bride!

nothing but wonderful things to say about John and when we met him that day we could understand why. John and his staff are extremely professional, punctual, and so much fun to work with. The studio has so much to offer with their photography packages and their photographs are absolutely stunning!! Personally, I was looking for a very classic look when it came to my engagement and wedding pictures rather than something more trendy because these are moments we will look back on for the rest of our lives and that is exactly what we got. Our pictures are breathtaking and you receive SO many photographs to look back on-- it's really amazing how much was captured during our entire engagement and on our wedding day. My wedding day was so special and it really helps having photographers who make you feel comfortable, beautiful, and bring a lot of joy in these special moments. My wedding party, family, and friends loved all of the photographers. There is something to be said when you feel like you've know a group of people your whole life after only knowing them for a short period of time-- you definitely want this feeling for your day. Definitely book with Gabelli Studio, they were our very first vendor we booked after the venue and it was our best decision by far!

s plus more. John was so accomodating with our COVID requests as my husband and I decided to have 2 ceremonies (a small one on our intended date and a large one with everyone when COVID "improved"). Jim was our second photographer during the larger wedding and kept us laughing as well. I could not have asked for better and would recommend to anyone looking for a photographer!

omfortable in front of the camera. We haven't seen all of our wedding photos yet, but from the sneak peeks and engagement photos we did receive, I know they are going to be amazing! We postponed our wedding 4 times, and every time we moved the date, Gabelli Studio’s made the process so easy! We were so lucky John was available on our 4th date, because to be honest, if he wasn't, we probably would've moved our wedding to a date he was available, that's how amazing he is!! Leading up to the wedding, John and Gabby were both super responsive and answered all of my questions. The day of, John and his team (we booked both photo and video), made everything so easy and fun. They made sure to capture all our moments and knew exactly where to get the best shots. John is the best of the best there is, and I would HIGHLY recommend booking him ASAP.

l their hard work leading up to and on the day of our wedding. They made everything so easy and fun. I can’t recommend them enough and hope to work with them again in the future for other life milestones!

. The photographers and videographers made everything so easy the day of the wedding. They had great visions and we’re super organized. We cannot wait to see all of the videos and pictures!

al and convinced ourselves that photos weren't important. A pandemic and 3 rescheduled wedding dates later, and we are SO incredibly relieved to have ditched our original photographer and go with Gabelli! If I'd had known how great my wedding day would flow because of John Bacolo & his team, we probably would have gone with a more expensive package!!! Your wedding photos and videos are going to be the only things that you have to look back on. The wedding day flies by and you'll want those memories materialized and immortalized. I can't wait for our photos and videos to come back, but it's great having faith that you know they will be amazing, that you can relax on your day knowing they're capturing everything meaningful, and you'll have months and years of hard work & planning symbolized in photos to prove it! So seriously...stop stressing yourself out & do yourself a favor and go with Gabelli Studio!!! P.S. Coordinating with Gabby leading up to the wedding day (7/25/21) was extremely helpful. Not only do you need a great photo & video team, but you need someone who will respond to your questions and call you back when you have concerns. They're the best. HANDS DOWN! A thankful newlywed <3

more amazing. Jim, Sal, Tab and the entire team were fantastic to work with. They brought humor to what is an exciting yet stressful day and managed to capture incredible photos which will be treasured memories for the rest our lives.

I that we were comfortable with whoever we chose. When we met John at a vendor showcase, we instantly knew that we had found or photographer. John and his team were attentive, had great suggestions leading up to the wedding, and were a joy to work with. On our wedding day, we did not have a wedding photographer.. instead we had a friend and a camera. Our photos came out beautifully and are a great reminder of those magical moments.

team were such a pleasure to work with and so accommodating throughout the planning process. Not to mention how much fun we had the day of! Truly everyone made our day extra special with lots of laughs and amazing photos that really captured the day!! If you want to work with a group of people that know what they're doing.... you will not be disappointed.

great time working with them. John made sure to address our concerns and capture our very special first look and wedding. Gabelli Studio was nothing short of amazing for our winter wedding and I would definitely recommend them to anyone in need for any event.

iately following our engagement shoot, we knew we had made the right decision with John. John and Jim were the photographers for our wedding and were fantastic. They made sure the whole wedding party was relaxed and having fun all day while taking pictures. They were able to capture so many amazing moments without us being aware and the quality was amazing! Gabby in the office was fantastic and always answered any questions we had very fast. Hiring John and his team to capture one of the most important days of our lives was one of the best decisions we could have made for the wedding! We highly recommend them for an event and look forward to using them in the future!

y say that you need to feel comfortable with the photographer, since he will be with you all day. And that’s what we felt with Jim. Comfortable and at ease. Jim has a great sense of humor and a calming, relaxing energy. Plus, he knows the Park Savoy, inside out. He took my husband and I to all the perfect spots at the perfect times. My parents and my bridal party also loved him! Prior to our wedding, we did our engagement shoot with him (and our 2 dogs). After seeing those gorgeous pictures and the way he captured us and our pups, we were certain Gabelli Studios was the choice for us! The day of the wedding, Jim arrived with a second photographer, Sal and assistant Terri. They were wonderful from start to finish. Jim stayed with me, while Sal photographed the guys down in the man cave. I wanted specific kids of shots (think flying veil) and Jim did not forget! He took so many pictures and so many natural ones, not just posed. So many pictures on the dance floor and I never even saw him! He was perfect at blending in and I was never really aware of the camera being on me! We incorporated our dogs again, and Jim was so patient and easy going with the pups! He knew how important that was to my husband and I and so he made it important to him. We saw a few shots and needless to say they looked amazing! I cannot wait to design our albums. My only fear is that Jim and Sal may have taken too many amazing shots…how will I choose? Gabelli Studios was a pleasure to work with and they do amazing work. Also, Gabby the manager is just awesome to work with! She is kind, patient and so easy to work with! Book Gabelli Studios!! You will not be disappointed!

rsonable and one of the most professional people you have ever met. John Bacolo from Gabelli Studio is nothing short of amazing and is truly a sweetheart. I knew that we were in good hands and it was just one less thing to worry about during the already stressful wedding process. Before the wedding he made sure his studio knew what our needs were , what we were looking for, and met every single one of them. Even when my original videographer had fallen through, John and his studio were able to step up and save the day (insert Superman anthem) a mere 3 weeks before the wedding. On top of this amazing eye as a photographer and skills, he is just one of the nicest guys I have ever met. He goes out of his way to say "hi" and make everything personable for his clients. When I went to go pick up my photos with my cousin (and bridesmaid) he not only came out to greet us but remembered my cousin and acknowledged her as well. He's truly that awesome. Hire Gabelli Studio and I promise, you won't be sorry. He is the best of the best.

ured the day so beautifully and was amazing to work with all day. He kept all the girls laughing and did whatever he needed to to get the best photos. Every pose came out perfect and when we got our photos back, there are even more photos/ poses than I remember taking! John and his team at Gabelli work quickly and get a lot of photos in a short amount of time. We couldn’t be happier and would recommend Gabelli to anyone in need of a photographer!

d, which allowed for the pictures to capture our true emotions in the moment! Our venue actually recommended Gabelli Studio to us and we could tell why! John’s familiarity with our venue, Il Tulipano, really showed in our pictures! Highly recommend Gabelli Studio to capture your special day!

the absolute best in the field! He is personable, professional and so sweet. From our engagement pictures to our wedding day he made us feel comfortable and we had some great laughs with him. We recently just received our wedding flash-drive ( the coolest presentation of a flash drive) and out of the 3,000 pictures, we literally could not find one photo we did not like. John and Jim truly cared about capturing all the special moments of our wedding day. STOP LOOKING AND BOOK GABELLI!!

actly what to do to make you look and feel beautiful and comfortable on your wedding day. Once the Reception started the team was around but let us enjoy our time with our guests while still getting great shots. We couldn’t be happier with our photos.
