Absolutely Incredible Wedding Dress Alterations — Every Detail Was Perfect!
I brought my wedding dress to French Knot Alterations for several alterations before my September 2026 wedding, and I could not have been happier with the results!
My dress needed quite a bit of work, including adjusting the straps, adding built-in bra cups, repairing a tear in the train, creating a bustle, and carefully sewing down the lace throughout the train.
On top of all of that, I wanted to include a special personal detail: an embroidered piece featuring my husband’s and my initials and our wedding date. She incorporated that sentimental touch into my dress beautifully, and it made the gown even more meaningful to me.
Wedding dresses have so many delicate details, especially when lace and trains are involved, and I really appreciated the care and craftsmanship that went into every alteration.
The finished dress fit beautifully, and all of the changes came together exactly as I had hoped. I felt amazing wearing it on our wedding day!
