Fredericks Photo and Films

ked us through all of our package options and even allowed us to add video of our ceremony, speeches, and dances at the last minute. They provide an excellent value for the quality and quantity of images they provide. My husband was a bit shy and uncomfortable with getting his picture taken, but Shawna and Chris made him feel comfortable and helped him loosen up! They really tried to get to know us and get a feel for who we are and what we wanted our photos to look like. They learned about us as people and our relationship, and I feel like that is captured in our photos. The photos feel genuine, not posed. I also loved that they weren't overly serious which allowed us (and our friends and family) to loosen up and have fun throughout our wedding day. Their photography is stunning and vibrant - not overly washed out - which is exactly what we wanted. They were receptive to our ideas about where we wanted our photos, and what we wanted them to look like. During our engagement pictures, we went to several different locations throughout colonial Williamsburg and even had an outfit change! We also recently received the videos of our wedding day (it was a super quick turn around!) and they are also stunning and perfectly captured. I can't wait to watch the video of our ceremony for years to come.

and comfortable! Their communication was top-notch. They are friendly, professional, and captured moments we didn’t even notice ourselves during the wedding. The pictures they took turned out so much better than I could have imagined! We are so happy with went with them and would not change a thing! Cannot say enough good things about them!!!!

d for. The photos are beyond stunning! We've gotten so many compliments that our wedding photos look like they came from an industry magazine (attached some of our favorites). Beyond just the incredible work and professionalism, you won't meet two better people to spend time with. They are kind, patient, and always know exactly what to say to get you to smile or laugh. They made us comfortable in an unfamiliar situation and that shone through clearly in the amazing results. We recommend them to all of our family and friends, and truly can't say enough good things. Don't hesitate to book them!

e to not particularly enjoy standing in front of a camera, but Chris and Shawna kept him and his groomsmen genuinely laughing the entire time. They were so discreet during the ceremony, I really do not know how they got all the shots they did! If I had any advice for any new bride/groom, hire Chris and Shawna to be apart of your big day, you will not regret it!

ith a smile on their face the entire time. They did such an amazing job at putting everyone at ease through the entire day to make sure the best moments were captured from every angle. My husband and I could not possibly recommend them more!

already recommended them to some of my friends!!!

and Chris were perfect for our wedding. They are so much fun, and so kind and accommodating. Our engagement pictures were stunning, and as it got closer to the wedding, Shawna called me one afternoon when I was panicked about a timeline, and we talked it through. The day of, they just made everything so perfect, and we have seen our sneak peek photos, and when I say I cannot wait to see the rest after the sneaks, I am just chomping at the bit for the rest. And I know our wedding video is going to be the most amazing capture of our day as well. I highly recommend Fredericks Photo and Films. You will not be disappointed!!

shoot couples and their friends and family. I am so glad that they shot our wedding, I absolutely love our engagement photos and can't wait to see all the photos and video from our wedding!

e) each moment! We planned on having Shawna and Chris only photograph the wedding, but because some guests were unable to attend last minute due to COVID, we added on videography services just two weeks out from the wedding. Shawna and Chris were extremely understanding and worked with us to accommodate our last minute request. They are incredibly talented at what they do and we have received so many compliments on our wedding photos! We so enjoyed our time spent with Shawna and Chris and would highly recommend them to capture your big day!

d made me feel so gorgeous!

I got what I needed. Looking forward to getting in front of their camera!

ly in love! I highly recommend CH&SH photography!

at the Richmond Wedding Expo in 2017, and I immediately knew they were the right choice for us. We loved their photography style, and they made us feel so comfortable and at ease during our engagement and wedding sessions. Our engagement pictures were GORGEOUS, and we are so excited to see a sneak peak of our wedding pictures soon. Chris and Shawna offer such a competitive price for such a high quality experience. They are just the sweetest couple, and truly amazing photographers.

comfortable and by the end of our wedding we felt like they were some of our best friends!! They worked SO well side by side with our videographer that people assumed they came as a packaged deal! Because they are a husband and wife team, Chris spent the morning hanging with the guys and Shawna spent the morning hanging with the girls and they made sure to capture every little moment before the wedding. They were flexible and easy going when (surprise!) the girls were an hour late getting to the first look. They were unobtrusive during the whole evening yet seemed to catch each and every sweet moment! Shawna was very quick to get the photos back to us and is extremely easy and quick to communicate with. I cant recommend these two enough, best decision we ever made!!

ing for great photos! They offered a great suggestion for our engagement shoot, and had all the poses they wanted us to do- making things easy for us! They are prompt at returning emails/calls and they were one vendor I knew that I didn't have to worry about the day of. They were on time for everything, professional, and fun! I highly recommend them!
