About this vendor
Operating out of Portland, ME, Fox Under Fire is an established four to six-piece wedding band. Owned by lead vocalist Thomas Clukey, the band is fronted by himself and his close friend, multi-instrumentalist Mike Maurice.
Tom grew up in central Maine with a passion for music passed down through generations. Studying music at the University of Southern Maine brought him to Portland, and it's been his home ever since. Mike followed the same path from Maine to Portland and excelled at guitar, trumpet, and drums. Fox Under Fire is comfortable playing any genre, from jazz and country to pop and classic rock, so whatever your preference, it will be embraced.
Fox Under Fire will transport its own sound system, PA, microphones, and lighting to your ceremony. Tom and Mike are happy to sit down and get to know you so they can help arrange a personalized playlist for your special day. They are more than happy to learn and perfect specifically requested songs.

Tom and the band were amazing for our wedding in Maine! They were so easy to work with and flexible. They kept the party going and kept the energy up all night. Everything they pl...
ayed was so well done, especially our song requests and first dance song. They crushed it! Would highly recommend them for your event or wedding band.
Our wedding reception would not have been complete without Fox Under Fire. Tom was very friendly and attentive in answering all our questions prior to booking and followed up to he...
lp us create the reception just as we wanted. We also had them set up sound and music for our ceremony which I’d highly recommend so you have one less worry the day of. They were very professional and set up early the day. The band learned and played many of the songs we wanted to hear, but also mixed in songs everyone knew to keep the reception going without being a cheesy wedding band. Tom did a fantastic job as a master of ceremonies for the reception as well. I’d recommend their original music as well that our guests absolutely loved. After the wedding, our guests (and the neighbors) raved about how great the band sounded and was amazed by their range in music genres. Fox Under Fire is a great value for your event, and I could not recommend booking them enough. Check out their solo work on Instagram if you need even more reasons to book them: @thomascharlesclukey and @mikemauricemusic.
