This hotel is outstanding! Amazing attention to the architectural details in the rooms and throughout the property. We always enjoy our stays here. The hotel restaurant Edgewater, is wonderful with a really nice menu, reasonable prices and pool...
side. We love it all!

This was an amazing place to stay on our way to Chicago overnight. The staff was over the top friendly. From our check in with AJ to having a fabulous dinner, they went above and beyond. The hotel is clean, the pool is adorable, the little cafe...
by the pool is also super cute, the casino is very nice. Every staff was over the top professional and kind. They had drawings at the casino, it was all so organized and easy to hear/see results. I was literally saying in the car on the way there how I feel like customer service is no more due to some interactions we've had recently, and I'm happy to say this place proved me wrong. Highly recommend Four Winds South Bend. What a gem.

Beautiful faculty and exceptionally great staff. Honestly the nicest and most helpful folks! Only disappointment was the number of machines out of service some of which were our favorites. Had a cash machine give up the ghost just as it was ...
printing my change ticket... Luckily it had already dispensed the cash! But life happens, this was our first time here and we did have fun. Won a little then gave it all back...😅... Casino life!

Use to love this place until last stay/ I had a bad experience at another hotel involving electri, elevators, and incompetant staff. I was assured by 1 of the 1st responder security personnell at Four Winds that could and would not happen there...
. 4:30am alarm to evacute goes off. I am disabled and on 15th floor. I rang the help bell and waited over 15 minutes whike alarm blared overhead and finally attempted to do 15 flights with deformed lower leg bones, a knee replacement and hip hardware. I made it 4 flights to find they had called the alarm but did not announce. When I asked hote k desk I got the manager comes in at 8 or 9 try then. When I asked security I was literally told "We are short staffed so instead of splitting up, we all went looking for the problem and had there been 1 we would have got to you. That was the most assinine answer from a so called security personnel. I will never stay in South Bend Four Winds again no matter how free the room is! The buffet is little selection, no hot dinner rolls, and most of the hot food is barely warm. 2 of the restaurants are too high priced for me and the other just serves bar food and horrible frozen fish dinner plate.

might be the worst hotel I've stayed at recently. My girlfriend, her sisters, and I got a room for 2 nights this past weekend, here's a rundown of what happened.
1. Dude at check in was pretty decent, he seemed busy but we got our key pretty f...
ast so thats alright.
2. Get to our room and notice that the shower head is covered in green copper oxide. It's safe but it just looked nasty.
3. The tv's have HUGE issues, our biggest one being the screen being stuck at 5% brightness without the ability to be turned up.
4. The bar at the pool only had 1 bartender and it was his first day. Management really messed up by letting the other 2 bartenders call off on a Saturday because this dude was doing absolutely everything himself and people got upset cause the service took a bit but it really wasn't his fault.
5. A security guard told us that we weren't allowed in the pool and that it was for guests only, we had to get out and show keycards in order to stay in.
6. The buffet was trash, the New Buffalo location is so good so it really caught us off guard. They keep the food "warm" with cans of sterno but it really didn't seem to be working well. The people working the buffet were all great, the food was extremely low quality tho.
There is no point in going to this location when New Buffalo is so close.
