About this vendor
Fossil Photography is an ongoing project, telling one story at a time. My images are grounded in emotion and creativity. I believe in the preciousness of the subtle, in between moments, when you are thinking less about the camera and more about each other. I strive to provide wedding photography that never feels like a chore during those fleeting hours of your amazing day. Wedding photography that does not disrupt your celebration, but is a part of your day that allows you to have genuine and quality time with the people you love most. This philosophy results in imagery that will give you all the feels when you look back at the photographs after the wedding. That is exactly what I am here for!

Jessica is wonderful to work with. She was always quick to respond and we felt like she truly wanted to get to know us. On the big day, she helped to keep us calm and laughing. The...
pictures turned out stunning! Contact her and you will not be disappointed.
Jessica with Fossil Photography is such a great photographer. Posing for pictures can be awkward, especially with someone you don't know, but Jessica is so friendly and personable ...
she made it comfortable. She offers a free engagement session, which helped us warm up to her and get a feel for her work. As soon as she about fell in the lake to get the perfect shot, we knew the pictures would be amazing...and they were! I added a second shooter pretty last minute, but no complaints from Jessica, she was so easy to work with. She made sure I got the shots I wanted while also being creative and capturing all the emotion and fun happening. She directed, but stayed in the background if that makes sense. She knew sunset pictures were really important to me, but the day of the wedding was overcast with rain so I didn't think it would happen. As soon as the sun peeked through, Jessica saw our opportunity to get those shots and made it happen, and those turned out to be some of my favorite pictures! Thank you Jessica for going above and beyond to capture our wedding! We will forever cherish the memories we made that day and thanks to you, we have about 1500 amazing pictures to remember it by!

ng the ceremony, no one noticed them taking beautiful shots, which is exactly how it should be. We had Jessica for a number of hours, but I suspect she stayed later to get some amazing reception shots--always going above and beyond. We are over the moon obsessed with these photos. I cannot recommend Jessica (and her team!) enough. (Also, pricing was very affordable.)

ut amazing and we could not be happier. She has a true natural talent for photography and she was able to capture every special moment that meant the world to us. Her fast and thorough communication was so nice leading up to the big day. She was a joy to work with! Thank you for helping make our day so special. I know we will cherish these photos forever!
Jessica did such a wonderful job on our engagement and wedding pictures! Not only does she have a keen artistic eye, but she is also friendly and calm and flexible! We’re so happy ...
with the experience and we will treasure the resulting pictures. Thanks again!
After diligently searching online from L.A., I thought I had seen every wedding photographer in the St. Louis area and was already prepping myself to sacrifice quality to stick to ...
our budget. Oh how I was wrong! I came across Fossil Photography from a friend’s photo on Facebook and thank goodness I did! From the first few emails and phone calls, the owner, Jessica, stood out from our other prospects. She was always kind, friendly and professional and unlike a lot of others, she was prompt in her responses! On top of all of that, her prices were very reasonable so we were SOLD! Our engagement session was the cherry-on-top and couldn’t have gone better. She even designed our beautiful Save-the-Dates that all of our guests raved about! As an event planner I tend to over do it with lists and sent her a rather lengthy shot list for the day of the wedding. To our delight, she and her partner, Katie, had it in hand that day and managed keeping us on our tight time schedule with ease…we were truly thankful. We received our photos right after our honeymoon and they were absolutely perfect. She has a way of capturing the true emotions of the day; from our first look, to a moment between taking posed photos, to some party bus shenanigans. She was there to catch it all and her photos bring back all of the emotions of our special day every time we look at them. I highly recommend Fossil Photography for any special moment you want to cherish forever.
