Had them booked for 2 years, the first set of staff hardly responded to us and when they finally did respond and meet up with us to talk about set up a couple months prior to the w...
edding, they ended up all getting fired shortly after. The new manager/staff were so better at responding and were very willing to help make up for the previous staff’s behavior but the day of the wedding I felt like the staff were just MIA, didn’t help control/manage the day even though part of our package had a day-of coordinator. No one checked in on us to see if things needed to be done. My bridesmaids had to hunt them down or wake them up because they were in their office asleep. We had issues with the fridge in the kitchen that was storing all the cocktail hour food and there was just no urgency to find a solution even with the food about to go bad as it had been sitting in there all night. The only time I really saw them help out or have more pep in their step was when we were cleaning up to leave. I have no received our recorded phone messages that we had out for our guests and I am so fed up with this place I just let it go and haven’t reached out for it because I’m tired of dealing with this place. Just overall not the best experience and I wish we had kept looking for a different vendor.
Our wedding at Fort Piqua Plaza was nothing short of magical. The venue itself is absolutely stunning, elegant, timeless, and full of character. Every corner feels grand and romant...
ic, and it created the perfect backdrop for our special day. The staff went above and beyond to make everything seamless and stress-free. They were professional, accommodating, and genuinely cared about making our day perfect. They handled every detail with such grace and warmth. We couldn’t have dreamed of a better place to celebrate our love. If you’re looking for a wedding venue that’s both breathtaking and impeccably managed, Fort Piqua Plaza is the one. It was truly everything we hoped for and more.
Not only is the venue lovely and a historical site that the City of Piqua has restored (check out the library on the ground floor- it was the original grand entrance for the hotel)...
, but the staff was some of the nicest people I've worked with. They are great an knowing how to set up the venue for a smooth flow and bringing to life what's been in your head.
If you’re looking for a beautiful elegant place at a reasonable price, check them out. It was great to be able to use the library area for some awesome pictures. And the ballroom i...
s amazing. It worked out nicely to rent one room the Friday before for a small fee to have the rehearsal dinner. Ashley was super helpful on getting it put together.

This venue is absolutely breathtaking and we had such a great experience there! Cindy was wonderful to work with and she made sure everything was perfect! They go above and beyond ...
to ensure that your special day flows seamlessly and we truly felt like we were in a dream. Cindy is able to recommend vendors and she has contacts with all of their preferred vendors, which made our day SO easy! I encourage you to utilize their recommendations because you never have to be the "middle man" between the Plaza and any vendor. It was a fantastic experience and we loved every second of it!
Thank you!
This location is stunning as is, so if you are looking for a reception location that you don't need to dress up much this is the place to choose. Cindy and her team were very prof...
essional and extremely helpful in preparation for the big day. They are very well connected to many vendors and communicate with each other. This lead to zero worries for me on the big day. Everything was taken care of, and I could completely enjoy myself at this great reception location.
Cindy was amazing. And the location was amazing!
The photos of this place speak for themselves! This place is beautiful! If you want something unique, not the typical golf club or hotel, then this place is it! Staff is great to w...

The Fort Piqua Plaza is, in my opinion, the most beautiful place to get married in Miami County. It is a renovated historical hotel with classic charm and elegance. We had an old...
world themed wedding and it was the perfect venue. The staff is excellent and was very easy to work with.
The plaza is absolutely beautiful, and our wedding day turned out great...which leads me to give a 4 star rating. We did have some issues dealing with the City of Piqua, who opera...
tes this facility. We were unhappy that we not informed that their preferred caterer was going out of business ON THE NEWS...without hearing it from them first. Initially there was a change in the banquent coordinator and I felt like emails and phone calls would go unanswered for weeks, but Kathy was great to work with as the event neared. Like I said, overall we were happy with this location and had many compliments on the beauty of it. Don't expect to get off cheap in alcohol costs though!
Amazing place for any event. Beautifully restored hotel ballroom. Great staff and service.
