Follow the Sun

process, and helped us put together a very detailed timeline to keep the night running smoothly. Sophie listened to all of our requested and even surprise requests too! On the day of, the band was simply incredible - fun, energetic and engaging. They sounded amazing and made sure to play every song we requested, as well as some great in-the-moment additions that kept our guests dancing all night long. All of our guests raved about how much fun the band was and what a great time they had. Each member of Follow the Sun was beyond kind, and you could tell they truly wanted to make our day perfect. They were the perfect party-starting band, our guests were truly on the dance floor the entire night. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking to make their wedding an unforgettable celebration.

ng together with their incredible sound and skills as a rock band. We wanted something fitting the space and something different than the typical DJ setup - and the classic rock sound they bring was absolutely perfect. They learned some songs specifically for us and had a fantastic repertoire of songs to choose from for their overall setlist. My bride, now wife, also played a song with them on stage! They are kind, sweet people that really went above and beyond for us - I can't believe they provided the level of service and performance that they did amidst all the other events and shows they must do. If yall are looking for a wedding band - these are your people!!

we came out to watch a live performance and even though they were crazy busy, they each made a point to come say hi and get to know us a little bit. Sophie (our contact person for emails while planning) was personable, responsive, and beyond accommodating. They offer complimentary song requests during the planning process and personalized their performances to include us and our people 🤍 They also played our ceremony live, and it was better than I could have ever imagined it would be! All we wanted for our wedding day was to celebrate and have fun with our friends and family, and Follow the Sun was the exact vibe we were looking for! I don’t think we left the dance floor once all night, other than to take sunset photos. Richie got our daughter involved by giving her a pick and letting her play his guitar mid performance, a highlight she hasn’t stopped talking about and will never forget!! Annnd they shared a bag of Doritos with me at the end of the night during cleanup, that I will never forget! Lol (trust me, when the wedding is over and you realize you never really get a chance to eat the entire day, you will get it 😂) Just another example of how great these people are!! We received so many compliments from our guests and everyone wanted to know who the band was! Seriously, one of the best decisions we made was booking with them! From the planning, to the ceremony, to the reception and even after, the band was so great to work with. We are already planning a trip to the Cleveland area to catch one of their upcoming shows! If you are looking for an upbeat, energetic, personable, genuinely fun, professional band that sounds amazing, don’t hesitate to book now! You will be glad you did!

le tell us that the band was their favorite part of the night and we could not agree more! Hoping many of our friends book FTS so we can continue seeing them!!

ur wedding! They kept the dance floor jam packed ALL NIGHT LONG! Ritchie did a fantastic job introducing the wedding party at the beginning of the evening. Prior to the big day, they gave us so much good advice relating to the details of the ceremony/reception. They truly did so much more for us than just playing fantastic music!

e and went to see them at some gigs over the next few months and then raved to all of our friends and family about how great they were gonna be. From our ceremony music up until 11pm at night to the final song- we DANCED. They are beyond talented; they play EVERYTHING and they took a break for oh but 10 minutes. Our dance floor was packed and our wedding planner had to escort people out at the end of the night-and that was exactly what we wanted. We cant wait to go see them again. Book this band- you will not regret it!

unication and professionalism is top-notch. While you always have difficulties with some vendors, Follow the Sun was not one of them. I would absolutely recommend starting your evening with Laura, Sophie and Gene performing at your ceremony. Richie is a natural emcee and he really took the time to learn to pronounce some of our difficult last names. One of the things that drew me in about Follow the Sun was their amazing setlist. It’s been almost 2 months since our wedding and people are STILL talking about them! We had a wide array of music fans in attendance and the dance floor was packed the entire night. No one wanted the night to end!!!! They definitely made some new fans at our wedding and I know of multiple groups that already have plans to see them perform this year. They’re definitely made groupies out of Jason and I! I can’t begin to thank them enough. I could shout it from the rooftops: if you want a band for your wedding, THIS IS THE BAND TO BOOK!

iven so many compliments about the song selections and energy. Sophie was amazing to work with and they were so flexible. We had no idea what we were doing and they provided a detailed timeline that we were able to tweak. Thank y’all so much!!

e & Richie were great leading up to the wedding; making sure to meet enough to get to know us, our timeline, and expectations. They worked through the playlist with us, giving their thoughts, but letting us lead the way. The whole band was extremely nice, as well as immensely talented. They rocked the night away, and we received many compliments on how fun the band and music was from our guests. I would recommend this band for any event or wedding.

band they've ever seen and we agree. The dance floor was packed the entire night and their song catalog is vast and performed amazingly. It really felt like we were at a concert that night. It was awesome! Sophie and Richie are two of the nicest people you will meet and truly cared about making our wedding everything we dreamed! They communicated with us often and made sure all the details were in place for the entire night. We can't imagine what it would have been like without Follow the Sun and we cannot recommend them enough. It was truly an amazing time thanks to them. 1000% recommend. 5/5 stars

with us- even for an out of town wedding- and even provided valuable insights on the flow of the day. Their acoustic trio played beautifully for our ceremony and the band rocked it for the reception. They are extremely talented singers and musicians and play a variety of songs- EVERY SONG IS SO GOOD- they will keep you and your guests on the dance floor all night long! They have fun and are flexible to last minute changes. They are organized- sound and lighting were ideal- and know how to make your special day extra fun. Our guests (and vendors) are STILL raving about how amazing this band was and we can't wait to see them again! Highly recommend this band for your wedding or other special event! :)

and I hired them to play our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception, and their music perfectly matched the energy of each event. We had the most fun dancing that we’ve ever had, and our guests all came away saying that Follow the Sun is the best band they’ve ever heard. Both of the songs we asked them to learn exceeded our highest hopes; they learned one of them for our first dance and it made it so magical. Hire Follow the Sun to make your wedding an unforgettable party!

or because of them and we all had a blast! Highly recommend!!

never more than an email away. From the first time we made contact, we knew we were making a good decision by hiring them. Then before we knew it it was the wedding day. The band was there early setting up multiple sounds systems for both the live set and the ceremony/cocktail hour as we had discussed multiple times by that point. Ricky was a lively and fun MC for the formalities. And then it was time for the live set and it all broke loose. I don't know whether it was the crowd we had invited or what but I have NEVER seen a wedding dance floor get so lit up like it did at our event. The stage presence, the musicianship, and the setlist we made from their massive catalog of songs received the highest marks not just from us, but ALL of our guests. Shirts were coming off. High heel shoes were flying across the room from all directions. Old folks were dancing like they were 30 years younger. It was 4 hours of bedlam out there and we were loving every second of it. After the event was over and everyone was cleaning up, our event coordinator for the venue pulled us aside and mentioned that she was so impressed with how professional, fun, and easy to work with Follow The Sun was, especially since it was their first time MC-ing an event at the venue. If you are planning a wedding and want it to get LIVE at your event, we cannot recommend Follow the Sun any more. If you want your wedding that you've worked so hard for to be the biggest party of the year, compromise elsewhere and hire this band over a DJ. Seriously, just do it. Mike + Sarah Ferrante

eetings and they were always available for any questions. The night went so smoothly! I never worried about the evening timeline …and our guests were loving the band! The dance floor was never empty and everyone had a great time. I would highly recommend Follow the Sun!

e for music and putting on a great performance through their vocals, sick guitar playing and willingness to learn a few songs that you want to add that aren’t in their song list ( which is an impressive list)! Their communication throughout the whole planning process was on point and they made us feel confident our wedding day went as discussed and seamlessly. I highly recommend Follow the Sun for any event and will be hiring them for future gatherings. Thank you so much for going above and beyond!

ess they gave us for our wedding planning and the day of was unbelievable. They made it completely worry free in the planning stages, allowed us to request songs, and communicated very well. As for the show. They performed as good if not better than I remember at the bar I saw them. They had the crowd on the dance floor the entire time. The entire band is a group of really fun people. We were lucky enough to hangout with them after the wedding. My wife and I couldn’t be happier about the entire experience!

ire them again!

their day to make sure everything was perfect from start to finish and boy did they deliver. We still get compliments to the day about how great our wedding band was. Their range of being able to perform acoustic stuff to today's hits to our personal faves (such as Wobble), they knocked it out of the park with every song. I can't wait until it's summertime again so we can see them hit the local concert circuit and be able to reminisce about the best day ever. You won't be disappointed! Forever grateful to Follow the Sun, Tom & Diana

t FtS, so we went to see them perform live and we knew right away they were the band for us. They are incredibly talented musicians and the band has great chemistry. They bring great energy and get the crowd going. And that was all just from observing before we even spoke with them regarding booking! FtS goes above and beyond to provide a customized experience. Once we inquired about booking they made the whole process so easy and fun for us. We met to discuss our vision for our day, and they were so accommodating as well as provided great insight for us from their experience with other weddings. They have an amazing set list of songs to choose from. Over the weeks leading up to the wedding, any questions we had they were quick to respond and so kind. We had custom requests with family traditions/songs and FtS were able make it all fit seamlessly into the evening. Our dancefloor was packed all night because of the incredible job the band did. We are so thankful and would highly recommend them to any couple interested in live music for their big day. Special shoutout to Sophie for being so attentive and answering all of our questions, and to Richie for being an INCREDIBLE master of ceremonies handling bridal party introductions and announcements throughout the evening. We didn't have to worry about a thing, you made our night so special and fun. Thank you for everything!

e energy alive all night. I would absolutely book them again.

it in the end because they truly MADE our reception. Not only was the music perfect and their voices amazing (seriously amazing), but they brought great energy and got everyone moving. Perfect addition to our big day.

my husband and I. They were amazing! We stumbled upon them at Jerzees one night and became groupies! From beginning to end, they were great to work with, unbelievably professional and made our wedding night so special. Our guests loved the group and had a blast dancing well into the new year. We couldn't have picked a better group of people to have play at our wedding. I would highly recommend them for weddings, parties or large celebrations. My husband and I will continue to follow the band. Hope to see them at the plaza this summer! Thanks, Follow the Sun, you rock! Sincerely, Chris and Jamie Porter

aller variety of music than what a DJ can provide. But we took the plunge with FtS and we're so glad we did! Their rate was so reasonable for what they provide and the quality of music was excellent. You just can't beat live music! The planning process with them was so easy. They were super attentive, checking in with us every other month leading up to our wedding and they even took the time to meet with us in person and have a sit down meeting to go over the final details and timeline for the day. They really cared about getting to know us as a couple and learning what our vibe and musical style as a couple is and our wedding playlist ended up being totally catered to what we wanted for our day! They play a huge variety of music, so there was something for every single guest, from the kiddos to the grandparents. They made sure the songs they selected were a great mix of their whole song list but focused on what we really wanted. They provided a song list for us to pick songs from and nix songs we didn't want played and then even let us request a handful of songs we wanted them to play and they nailed them! They had an iPad playlist made to play music for their break and even let our guests come up and request songs they wanted to hear. If they weren't able to play them live, they added them to the break playlist so the music never stopped, it was perfect! They were interactive, fun and kept everyone on the dance floor all night. I talked to Sophie and Laura when we first decided to have Follow the Sun at our wedding. I have had a song picked out for 10 years prior to my wedding (yes, I'm that girl), and was nervous to ask them to learn it because I knew most people had never heard of it. They were so happy to learn it and it was priceless to have them sing our first dance. I'm not sure if anyone knows, but three of the members and the band also have their own acoustic group. This was something that we added on to our cocktail hour and ceremony. They played prior to the ceremony starting, as we walked down the aisle, as people left to go to cocktail hour and then they played for the entire cocktail hour, too. Everyone loved having live music not only for the reception, but it was a really nice touch for cocktail hour, too. We can't wait to see Follow the Sun live again soon and are so grateful for the amazing memories they helped provide on our wedding day! We are lifetime groupies now!
