DO NOT GO HERE. Mercal ruined my dress and I had to find someone else to fix it just days before my wedding. The hemline was cheaply done, she cut my dress way too short, the stitc...
hes were popping before I even wore the dress, the cups were uneven and lopsided, and beading was busted. I took it somewhere else and had to pay $500 to get her mistakes fixed. Luckily for me, my gown was saved. Mercal denied any wrongdoing, despite photo evidence and statements from other tailors that she did a horrific job. She refused to come to any agreement and shut me down completely. She’s ignored my many messages since. She is a SCAMMER, she is rude, and does not care about anyone but herself and your money. DO NOT TRUST HER WITH YOUR GOWN. You’ll have your dress ruined and lose a lot of money just like me.
Mercal was wonderful to work with. She tailored my dress 4 inches in after I had lost 70 lbs before my big day. The lace remained just as beautiful as when I first purchased it aft...
er being cared for in her hands. I absolutely loved my bustle and the fact that Mercal comes to her clients is easily the most wonderful part- so much less stress! I highly recommend her work!
Mercal is a magician , she made me feel so comfortable I was NEVER worried giving her my baby AKA my wedding dress and reception dress! She custom made my hair vine and veil! It wa...
s all PERFECT and my exact dream attire vision!! If you want your wedding dress dreams to come true , hire her!
Mercal is as good as it gets. I met her a few years ago when my sister went to Focus on the Bride to get her wedding dress altered. When I needed alterations, I new I wanted her an...
d she was available.
I bought my dress online and it was quite large on me. Mercal altered it into a perfect fitting dress and made changes to the style to create the look that I wanted. She also made a fingertip veil out of a peplum skirt that came with the dress.
We met up four times to complete the alterations and she was so quick and accommodating with my schedule. She listens to what you want and is so incredibly talented. I can't more highly recommend using Focus on the Bride for alterations. Thank you, Mercal!
Mercal is amazing! She did a fabulous job with alterations on my wedding dress. Being the typical bride, and worried that things might not go right she ensured me that everything ...
would be perfect, and it was!plus she is so incredibly nice and make you feel extremely comfortable. I was so honored to have her do my dress and anyone would be so lucky to have her.
Even before my wedding, I had experienced her work firsthand and I knew that Mercal is amazing!! And after my wedding I can't even express how truly incredible she is!! Her work is...
flawless, and she knows her stuff. My dress fit like a glove, but not a "i can't breathe or move" kind a glove more of a flexible, molded perfectly to my body type of glove. Her work is perfection and Mercal is an incredible woman. She is super, super sweet and truly cares about how you feel. On the day of my wedding, she was there to insure I looked perfect and I did, thanks to her. She even helped out my bridesmaids and she became a part of the family that day. I heart Mercal and you will too!!
