Unfortunately, nothing really went to plan with Flowers by Sue. We worked with a woman who was hard to get a hold of and then a month before the wedding she told us she was leaving...
Flowers by Sue abruptly. Flowers by Sue did not follow up at all and it took me multiple calls to finally get ahold of someone who would be taking care of the order I had already paid in full. Communication was overall poor and although they did fulfill the order by providing flowers for the wedding, the flowers did not turn out as discussed/expected despite multiple efforts from my husband and I reaching out.
We were blown away by our wedding flowers especially my bouquet. They took our ideas wand went above and beyond. We only had a few weeks to plan our wedding from out of state, and ...
I didn’t think I could have such beautiful flowers with such limited time to plan. Our wedding flowers just added so much magic to our whole day. We are so grateful for making our wedding very special and romantic especially in a short time frame and working with our ideas.
Our experience with this wedding florist was unfortunately disappointing from start to finish.
Initial Interaction: Our initial call with the florist was promising, but things qu...
ickly went downhill when we were switched to another person without proper communication. This lack of coordination set the tone for the rest of our dealings with them.
Communication Issues: Throughout the planning process, communication was a significant issue. There were multiple instances where we felt left in the dark and had to chase them for updates and confirmations.
Rehearsal Dinner Interruption: The florist called the bride and groom (us) during their rehearsal dinner, which was both unprofessional and disruptive. This could have been avoided with better planning and respect for our time.
Bridal Bouquet Mistake: On the wedding day, the bridal bouquet was not what we had ordered. When our planner called to request a replacement, the florist responded with attitude, complaining about having to drive 10 minutes to correct their mistake. This level of service is unacceptable, especially on such an important day.
Overall Experience: Overall, our experience with this florist was far from satisfactory. The combination of poor communication, unprofessionalism, and a lack of accountability means we cannot recommend their services to others. For an event as special as a wedding, it's crucial to have reliable and professional vendors, and unfortunately, this florist did not meet those standards.
Brent and his team at Flowers by Sue were PHENOMENAL! They created a bridal bouquet, floral hair pieces, boutonnières, corsages, aisle markers, cocktail table decorations, signage ...
decorations, doggie boutonnière, and centerpieces. They also provided a beautiful arbor and even got us an isle runner. It seemed like whatever I asked for, Brent totally nailed it. Brent was able to work with my budget and what he delivered absolutely exceeded my expectations. They are priced much better than other Hilton Head florists and are such pros. Everything was absolutely stunning and we got so many compliments from guests. Communication, delivery, set up and cleanup were a breeze. Additionally, Brent’s fun and vivacious personality was so refreshing and it was such a pleasure to work with him. Lastly, it’s been almost two weeks since our wedding and some of our flowers are still standing. I would most definitely recommend Brent and his team for any occasion.
Our flowers were amazing and exactly what we wanted for our wedding! The colors, the variety, everything was so fresh! Brent the designer was a pleasure to work with and so open to...
everything I wanted to incorporate. The one thing that didn't go as expected was the roses we wanted to give to our parents weren't up at the altar with us, so we improvised and had to take some from the arbor. Another thing I would change was communication with Kelli, the owner, was a bit inconsistent and I had to be very persistent to get an answer. But we loved all the flowers. THANK YOU
Other flowers were very nice but they did not follow our/their specific instructions/picture for the bride's bouquet AT ALL. They promised to refund that bouquet but I haven't see...
n that $ yet. Would have rather gotten what I asked for.
Flowers by Sue was a dream to work with.
We originally planned our wedding for Hilton Head and arranged and booked everything over the phone and via email.

th was very friendly and easy to work with. She listened to my ideas, gave suggestions, and went above and beyond to help me find urns for the ceremony arrangements so I didn't have to rent them. We ended up moving our wedding to Savannah and although it was initially arranged for pick up my mother-in-law paid them to deliver and set up at our Hotel in Savannah. The flowers were exactly what I wanted in color scheme and blooms. Kelli really listened to what I liked and made beautiful arrangements. I loved my bouquet and it lasted over a week afterward. I also like to point out that their pricing is very reasonable compared to other florists in the area.
Thank you so much for making our venue beautiful.
Incredible! The team here made my wedding flower dreams come true! I had no idea what I wanted or how to bring all of my ideas to life and stay within my budget and this team went ...
above and beyond to accomplish all of the above. They were so responsive and helpful to work with, especially as an out of state bride, they even did Zoom meetings with me. Cannot recommend this team enough!
Flowers by Sue did the flowers for our wedding, and they did a beautiful job! I absolutely loved my bouquet! It was easy to schedule a consult, and Sarah did an amazing job taking ...
my description and sample photos and turning it into the most beautiful bouquet! On the wedding day, they delivered the flowers to my suite at our hotel, as well as arrangements to the church, in lovely glass vases of water that we got to keep! We also had them do pew markers for us and they put them in vases as well, so we were able to use them as centerpieces at the reception too! I’m even preserving my bouquet because I just loved it so much! Book Flowers by Sue for your wedding, they’ll do a beautiful job!

geous - bouquets, boutonnieres, centerpieces and even our wedding arbor decoration - simply beautiful, beachy and elegant at the same time. My only complaint was that we could not take it all back home with us to Ohio. Highly recommended.

n my opinion. When Sue sold her business in the midst of my wedding planning process, I was fairly worried at first. However, Deborah, the new owner, is just as fabulous. She worked very closely with us to make sure our arrangements were exactly what we wanted. My family and I were thrilled with how they turned out. Highly recommend!
We had a destination wedding in Hilton Head and had found most of our vendors via the knot ( based on reviews). So I wanted to help out the next couple in the same position. Sue d...
id an amazing job with all of our bouquets, center pieces and the floral arrangement on our arbor was breath taking! I couldn't have asked for a better job. The fact that we talked via email or phone conversations and she was able to capture exactly what I was dreaming of, tells you how amazing she is! Not only did she do an amazing job with the arrangements but she went out of her way, when there was a mishap with the rental company. Sue is very reasonably priced and highly highly recommend her services!
I recently had a destination wedding in HH, South Carolina on the beach. We used a pavilion for our reception afterwards - there wasn't much to work with (besides the surroundings)...
and I can say the centerpieces Sue provided really brought an entirely new level of elegance! The same goes for mine and my maid of honor's bouquet. They were absolutely beautiful!
We used Flowers by Sue for our casual wedding within the Sea Pines Resort. First a plug for what Flowers by Sue did NOT do: they did not try to convince us that we needed more ext...
ravagant or larger amounts of flowers than we wanted. We wanted a bouquet for the bride, one for the maid of honor, two boutonnieres for the groom and best man, and two table arrangements. We met with Flowers by Sue once in person and once over the phone, and the staff gave us great recommendations for flowers that were seasonally appropriate and would last well. We went with hydrangeas, blue delphinium and champagne roses, and all of the flowers were absolutely gorgeous! The bouquets lasted for a full week after the ceremony, and have dried beautifully. PLUS, the total price for our flowers was well below what we had anticipated. Flowers by Sue was so accommodating, and I would absolutely use them again!
I have known Sue & Ed at Flowers by Sue for more than 15 years. Their service and attention to detail are second to none! (Even on short notice)

rder on behalf of others and have used them personally for both my brother's wedding and weddings that I have coordinated. Everything I have ever ordered has been beautiful, artfully arranged and delivered on time.
My favorite occasion was when I was in the hospital a few years ago. Flowers by Sue delivered several arrangements to me on behalf of my well-wishers. In 1 day they made 3 separate deliveries. On the third trip there was an arrangement from the entire Flowers by Sue team with a card that read "We don't know why you're in there, but please get well soon!" and the card was sign by the whole staff. It does NOT get any better than that!!!
It's no surprise that Flowers by Sue wins The Island Packet's "Best Of" award for local florist year after year!
Thank-you for all you do! You are amazing and make every encounter with Flowers by Sue a delight!

September, 2012. We walked into Flowers by Sue the day before our wedding looking for baby's breath for the bridal party bouquets. On short notice, we weren't expecting a lot, but ...
the staff was tremendously helpful and very pleasant. They had more than enough in stock to help us out and provided some additional flowers at a discounted rate. We walked out of there very pleased with our experience and would definitely use them again.

even had charms that I wanted to add to my bouquet and they secured them for me so that I wouldn't have to try it by myself the day-of. I left the centerpieces up to the team for the most part, and their design was even better than I had imagined. You will not regret using Flowers by Sue for your next event - they are wonderful to work with!
