Florida Beach Weddings

ecause I can't give 0 stars, we did have beautiful weather and the photographer was amazing. The communication was not there, There were multiple times I've reached out on the portal and were unanswered. We actually thought at 1 point we were being scammed because I was not getting any response. My husband is a firefighter and decided to go to their place, after working 48 hours, and the address that was on Google, they had moved out 5 months prior. We were freaking out. On top of that we tried calling, but they did not answer. My co-worker called and they answered. We were so upset, Stephanie asked what she could do to fix things, and we said we needed to meet her and see the wedding site. So we did, and when I was introducing my husband, she didn't acknowledge him. At this point we are so locked in the contract. We ended up upgrading. This was in Feb. 2026. We were having almost 70 guests. We paid in full at the end of Feb. Including the permit. 4 days before the wedding (9-26-2026) we found out they never pulled the permit. Which we needed for guests over 50 guests in Ponce Inlet. Thank God the city didn't shut us down. If we didn't find out, we would have never known. She did refund it, which is the least she could do. We actually had a back up plan just in case they weren't there or if the city came to shut us down because we had no permit. When I asked her, she told me, that she didn't pull the permit because it was close enough to 50. Huh?? WE had almost 70... I guess at the end of the day I was glad we had a nice day. I could have done without the unnecessary stress. She will try to defend herself and take low ball shots like she did on my Google review, but we have documentation's to back everything we've said. I hope no one else has to go what we went thru. There's much more, but we only have so much we can write. We can't make this stuff up. I wish none of this had happened. I hope your wedding day is less stressful.
