At Florecitas, nothing is pulled from a package menu, every arrangement is built around your story, your colors, your venue. We know Southern California Wine Country intimately, from Callaway Winery to Galway Downs, where our design was recently featured in People magazine. That means we walk into your venue already knowing how to make it extraordinary. As a mother-daughter team, we treat every wedding the way we'd want our own family treated: closely, personally, and without ever letting a detail slip. I'm Maria, founder of Florecitas and your first point of contact from the moment you reach out. Before flowers, I spent over two decades building client relationships at the highest level, so I bring a level of care and follow-through to your wedding that most florists simply weren't trained for. Nothing falls through the cracks on my watch. Florecitas is a family studio I run alongside my daughters, designing weddings across Southern California Wine Country, from Callaway Winery to Galway Downs, where our work was recently featured in People magazine. ing process, I was very specific that orchids and calla lilies were the two flowers I cared about most. I was always reassured that everything we discussed was understood and would be taken care of, but when the wedding day came, a lot of those details weren’t there. There were two orchids in my bouquet and one on our sweetheart table, none that I saw on the guest tables, and not a single calla lily anywhere at the wedding. We had also specifically planned to repurpose the church pew flowers into bud vases for cocktail hour, but that didn’t happen, leaving our cocktail tables without any flowers. The flowers also arrived at 11:45am instead of 11:30am to our Airbnb that morning, which pushed our already tight wedding-day schedule behind. Maria was always very kind and reassuring, and the flowers themselves were pretty. I just wish there had been more follow-through between what we discussed throughout the planning process and what was actually delivered on our wedding day. That disconnect was ultimately the most disappointing part for me.
