Make your event unforgettable at FIVE
When we were looking for a place to host our special day, we toured many placed. When we toured FIVE Event Center on Bryant Ave in Uptown we knew it was the place the minute we walked in. The mix of modern design and natural woodwork with exposed brick. It was perfect. Then we meet the individuals who assist with planning our big day and making sure it was perfect and they were wonderful. From the first walk through, checking in while it was planning, the follow up and outstanding communication all the way to the final walk through. We had one point of contact, Christina who was always available to answer any questions we had, gave suggestions and allowed us to bounce ideas off her to make sure the day was perfect. Having the cater working seamless with the event center was perfect, the food was great, all the staff was very pleasant. I could not think of a better place to start my life together with my husband. Thanks Christina and everyone at FIVE Event Center, for making our special day, absolutely lovely and stress free.

The Five Event Center is such a special venue. The place felt very cozy and was already decorated enough! I had about 150 guests come to my wedding and there was still room for more.
The main level has an awesome bar area where guests can socialize. There's even high top tables too! With the expansion area, there are couches with tables that your guests can stay during the cocktail hour, and these couches are beautiful too. The bathrooms are private and they're really clean. There's a huge mirror in the shared sinks area where you can potentially decorate too! Right at the front, there's a security guard that watches the entrance for unknown guests so it makes the place feel even more secured.
In the bride and groom suites, the bride's room gets a long and elevated look to allow the maximum space needed to get ready. For the groom, it's a small room with an L-sectional couch for the boys to hang out one last time together.
For the 2nd level where everything else happens, the area looks small, but trust me, it can fit more people than expected. For my wedding, I had 20 tables that were setup, and there was still room to walk around comfortably. It's very convenient that there were private bathrooms upstairs too! At night time, the amber lighting makes the place feel like home. You can dim the lighting to whatever brightness you'd like too.
Christina, who's the venue manager, she was so helpful! Her communication is very responsive and she's only just an email away. She even gave me her personal phone number in case we couldn't reach her by email. She did everything she could to make sure our special day was what we wanted! Even during rehearsal, I felt like my husband and I needed an extra hour to rehearse and she was very flexible with giving us another hour. When setting up our ceremony, Christina even stepped up and help us! She is very sweet and kind too.
The Five Event Center is definitely worth it! My special day with my husband came out perfect and I couldn't be anymore grateful. If you are looking for an affordable, cozy and home feeling, this is the place you want to book!

Ceremonies can easily take place on FIVE Event Center’s second floor. ‘I-do’ occasions that take place here can accommodate up to 200 guests. Chairs can be arranged so that everyone has a good vantage point for the all-important exchange of vows. After applause has rung out, everyone can make their way to enjoy the cocktail hour. The lower-level bar and an outdoor patio beckon guests to enjoy the occasion as staff rearranges the second-floor space for the reception. The venue itself is absolutely stunning. The exposed brick, warm lighting, and unique charm meant we didn't have to go overboard with decorations. We loved having both levels to use, our guests enjoyed cocktail hour downstairs while the room upstairs was transformed for the reception, making everything feel seamless.
On the wedding day, the staff took care of so much behind the scenes that we were actually able to relax and enjoy every moment. They were professional, kind, and always one step ahead. I can’t say enough positive things about this venue. After a terrible previous planning experience (not this venue) and needing to change gears, my wife and I had 2 months to plan ...
our wedding. After visiting several venues, we knew that Five Event Center and Robyn Kuechle were the right choice. Robyn was so attentive, which was a breath of fresh air from our previous experience. She was incredibly accommodating and did everything to ensure that things went smoothly, and the bride and groom were very happy (spoiler alert… we were very very happy). The beautiful brick walls and décor of the venue is a whole vibe of its own which allowed us to need minimal décor to make it fit our vision. We went with Sterling Catering which was one of the preferred caterers. The Gyro Bar and appetizers that we chose were an absolute hit. The staff and bartenders were fun and made sure everything looked and went beautifully. I am so glad we chose this venue, and if I had to go back and do things differently to begin with, I would have chose them from the start. If you are planning a wedding, you would be doing yourself a disservice by not giving them a chance. 10/10 would recommend. Thank you Robyn and Team!

All of the staff were extremely professional, patient, and kind. My coordinator Robyn, was always happy to answer any and all of my questions.
Moxy hotel is just a few blocks away, offering accommodations for out of town guests. Additionally, Cub Foods grocery store is also very close to FIVE Event Center, which made it super easy to go out and quickly grab any of those little things you may have forgotten for big events or even load up on extra snacks and beverages.
I would definitely recommend FIVE for your next big event.

l wedding of around 50 people, but with the help of our coordinator and the way the venue is naturally laid out, the place never felt “empty.” A bar on the top and bottom floors makes transitioning between cocktail hour and the reception seamless and was great for keeping up momentum! We absolutely adored the exposed brick of the building and the lounge downstairs, so much so that we didn’t feel the need to go outside for any pictures! The venue speaks for itself in many ways and doesn’t need that much decor because of that, which is awesome! Brides with heavy dresses will also thank the venue for the quick elevator between the floors, because we certainly used it a lot toward the end of the night!
What me and my wife were happiest with is the work of the staff at FIVE! If a couple is looking for a venue who will keep their line of communications open and put your wedding needs first, this is where you want to go. The service of all of the staff, but especially our primary contact, Victoria Meersman, was ABOVE and BEYOND! Answers to our questions came quickly for being in the middle of a busy wedding season, and Victoria was kind and understanding when we had any concerns. She was even kind enough to get some fantastic behind-the-scenes pictures of us throughout the event and send them to us! We were absolutely thrilled with FIVE’s service and felt our special day was just as valued by the people working there.
We can’t thank FIVE Event Center enough, and I recommend it to anybody in the Twin Cities looking for a beautiful, indoor venue with a top-notch staff.

The location was perfect as well - although we had some challenges with parking we ended up doing valet and that worked perfectly. We took formal pictures at the greenway right near the venue and they turned out AMAZING. I have nothing bad to say about this venue. We will never forget our amazing wedding day here :)

She was very understanding. I did get a lot of complaints because there’s nowhere to park and there’s no parking lot but outside of that the space was very spacious. It was very big but upstairs downstairs everything I would highly recommend booking with the 5 Event Center.

ame way. The decoration and atmosphere here are very luxurious and cozy. They have remodeled private hospitality suites and downstairs space. You can easily use every corner of the venue to have beautiful photos for your event. Since we only hold our wedding reception here, it's sad that we can not make full use of their space of the venue. They also have wifi at FIVE, but we do not think it not strong enough to stream your event. With our limited wedding budget, their price is reasonable. So far, we don't have any complaints or disappointments about the FIVE Event Center. We will think about them first if we have any other event. We highly recommend this awesome venue.
