What a great team to work with! They were responsive and accommodating from the beginning. Wedding dinner was amazing, we even had a few vegan meals prepared that were over the top...
delicious! Everything was just perfect. Thank you so much for being such a great part of this wonderful celebration!
My husband has celiac disease which makes eating safely a challenge-- the folks at first we eat were INCREDIBLE about showing us our options and making sure everything was safe for...
my husband to eat. Even with our gluten free restriction, we had a ton of options. We decided to make everything gluten free and all the food was spectacular. They also made specific meals for our vegan/lactose free family (not an easy combo to manage on top of being gluten free!) and they took care of everyone beautifully. We asked for one of the dishes to have the pork substituted with chicken and they did it no problem, and it was spectacular! One of the servers also was so kind as to bring out some of the hors d'oeuvres to us while we were taking photos so that we didn't go hungry and got to try their spectacular stuffed mushrooms. We also got a gluten free sheet cake from them which was delicious!
At every step from tasting to the day of, they were responsive, thoughtful, and had the highest quality most delicious food and wonderful staff. We could not possibly be more thrilled with them. Additionally, they were very affordable and actually well under our food budget. We could not recommend them more!
P.S. The vegetable lasagna is mind-blowing
Not only was the First We Eat team great communicators but our wedding dinner was delicious! What a great team to make our day so special!!!
My wife and I hired First We Eat for our wedding, and could not have been happier with our choice. From the start, we were immediately drawn in by their menu options and great revi...
ews. The catering manager, Megan, is an absolute pleasure to deal with. She was so friendly, responsive, and helpful with her knowledge and experience in her business. Between her and the Owner/Chef, Mathew, every detail was discussed, confirmed, and improved by their suggestions. Mathew prepared our tasting, and we were blown away by the flavor and presentation of each dish. On the day of our wedding, they both (with their staff) executed service perfectly. They were very professional in their appearances, attitudes, and work. The food all around was outstanding, and we received so many compliments about each course, as well as how polite, courteous, and attentive the servers were throughout the night. When it was over, they left the kitchen spotless and congratulated us again on their way out. I truly believe catering can make or break weddings, and with First We Eat, they went above and beyond any expectations we had and absolutely NAILED IT. I cannot say enough good things about this company, and would not hesitate to recommend them or use them again in the future.
For our wedding we had the most delicious food, and the chef was so accommodating. My mother in law wanted beans for everyone but my wife and I wanted mashed potatoes, so he made p...
otatoes for the two of us and beans for everyone else, which was super special. They made us our special green chili and cheddar cornbread, which was so good. (We we’re missing our honey butter for our cornbread, but that’s a super minor detail.) They made sure to serve my wife and I so we could be sure to eat, and we’re super sweet. If you get the salsa, it’s delicious, but it’s not local medium, so I would ask for extra spice if that’s what you’re looking for. I would absolutely hire this company again for future events!

mmodated many extra things I asked for. They went above and beyond with my special requests. We didn’t get to have cake at the wedding due to running around and I was so sad. I mentioned it to Megan and she had the baker make my husband and I a personalized cake to pick up the week after the wedding. Talk about going above and beyond!
The food was just so delicious, when we did our tasting for our wedding, it was hard for us to decide! We had plated service for our wedding, and everyone said the food was great. ...
There was just one table that got forgotten about, but it got figured out. Also wish that the cake had been served to each table, but it was an oversight we forgot about. Would definitely recommend them to friends!

he delivery went off without a hitch and the guests were raving! There is not an event I wouldn't consider First We Eat for, they are amazing and dedicated to the craft of food and service. (This was not a wedding, but a private event)
We highly recommend First We Eat Catering. Start to finish this was the best experience I’ve had with catering, in fact it was perfect and went beyond my expectations. The food was...
fantastic and high end, prices were competitive! I don’t think we could have done better price wise with the amount of food and service we enjoyed. They brought everything into our home that they needed, including dishes and silverware, and cooked, set the tables, served, and cleaned up, leaving me with a spotless kitchen. The chefs and Megan are both professional and delightful to work with. Especially now, during this pandemic I was so happy to be able to have our our Bar Mitzvah party safely in our home. They wore their masks the entire time, always covering their noses, and both safety and cleanliness was 100% on point. I could go on and on about how wonderful First We Eat is, but I’ll just say they have my highest recommendation.
