About this vendor
At First Table Studio, a mobile wedding bar service in Phoenix, AZ, every pour, garnish, and detail is designed to make gatherings unforgettable. What began as a passion for mixology has grown into a full-service experience that spans bartending services, private parties, and wedding + rehearsal dinner mixology classes.
We’ve hosted living room cocktail classes, elegant rehearsal dinners, and full-scale corporate retreats, guiding guests through hands-on lessons that build connection while crafting cocktails worth remembering. We’ve partnered with bars and restaurants to bring our expertise directly to their guests, and we’ve collaborated with brands like Casamigos, Absolut, and Kahlúa to design engaging events that merge flavor with storytelling. Whether it’s a birthday celebration, a company offsite, or a wedding party, our goal is simple: create an atmosphere where guests can relax, connect, and enjoy exceptional drinks without stress.
As rewarding as it is to host small, private mixology classes, the foundation of our craft was forged in fast-paced upscale bars, lounges, hotels, and beloved local hangouts across Boston, Washington, DC, and Phoenix. Those years of high-volume service taught us precision, speed, and consistency. When you have served hundreds of guests in a night, you learn quickly that execution matters as much as creativity. That experience allows us to bring the polish of fine hospitality into any setting, from a backyard celebration to a black-tie gala.
We believe bartending is more than serving drinks. It is creating an experience. It is the smile after the first sip of a well-balanced cocktail. It is the story a guest takes home with them after a night of laughter and conversation. At First Table Studio, we have built our reputation on making those moments happen again and again, whether it is through stress-free bartending for private parties, elevated mixology classes for weddings and rehearsal dinners, or immersive brand activations.
Looking ahead, we are proud to announce the upcoming launch of our multi-part cocktail recipe book series, beginning with Boston on the Rocks: Cocktails from the Commons to the Coast. This project is both a dedication to the city where we first honed our skills and a celebration of the people and places that shaped our journey. Each recipe pays tribute to Boston’s neighborhoods, history, and vibrant hospitality culture, offering readers a way to bring a piece of the city into their own homes.
First Table Studio is built on clarity, craft, and care. We know that when the drinks are handled by professionals, hosts and guests alike can relax and focus on what matters most: celebrating together. From private parties to weddings, rehearsal dinners, and corporate experiences, we bring the same promise to every occasion: signature cocktails and stress-free service.

We hired First Table Studio to handle bartending for our small wedding party in downtown Jersey City. At first I wasn’t sure if it was necessary for such an intimate gathering,...
but Steve and his team made it absolutely worth it. The selection of beer and wine plus the delicious margaritas really leveled up our evening. Everything ran smoothly from setup to cleanup, which allowed us to relax and enjoy the night. Communication was clear, professional, and easy the entire way. If you want attentive bartenders and experienced staff to make your special night stress free, I definitely would recommend First Table Studio and would book them again in future!
I first reached out to First Table Studio to host a private mixology class for my sister and a few of her colleagues from Johns Hopkins a few years back. We wanted to do something ...
different for a night out, something that wasn’t just dinner or another bar. It ended up being one of the best decisions we made. The setup was simple but thoughtful, the drinks were creative, and everyone was genuinely having fun. It felt effortless in the best way possible.
That night stuck with me. My wife and I started talking about how great it would be to have that same kind of experience at our wedding something that feels personal and memorable, not just the standard bar setup. So now we’ve got First Table Studio creating our signature cocktails for the big day in March.
What’s impressed me most is how easy they’ve made the whole process. Every conversation has been straightforward, they listen, and they actually care about getting it right. No over promising, just good communication and solid follow-through.
I wanted to write this because it’s rare to find a team that makes things this smooth. If you want something that actually adds to your day instead of adding stress, this is it.
First Table Studio ran the bar at our private event in DC and it was the best decision we made. No stress, no hiccups. Just great cocktails, smooth service, and an energy that made...
the whole night better.
Here’s my honest take after working with First Table Studios for my best friend’s 30th at Sonsie in Boston.
Steve made everything easy. He replied fast, asked the right questions,...
and kept the plan simple. No sales pressure. No jargon. Just clear options and what would work best for the room.
On the night, he showed up early and coordinated with the Sonsie team. The sound was clean during dinner and never too loud for conversation. When it was time to switch to dancing, he eased into it—no awkward gaps, no long mic talk.
What stood out most was how calm and attentive he was. He checked in, read the room, and adjusted without being asked. It felt like someone had our back all night.
Booking and payment were straightforward. The price matched the service. If you want a pro who keeps things smooth and fun without making it about themselves, hire Steve. I would book him again in a second.
We booked First Table Studio for our bartending services and he hosted a private mixology class for family and friends in Boston. At first we weren’t sure if it would be worth it, ...
but from the very first call Steve put us at ease. We had seen his previous work on Airbnb experiences. The cocktails were incredible, and our guests are still talking about the espresso martinis. The mixology class had everyone laughing, connecting, and having a great time. Setup and cleanup were handled so smoothly that we never had to worry about a thing. Communication was clear and professional from start to finish. If you want something unique that your guests will remember long after the event, this is it. Highly Recommended!
