Gorgeous venue at an incredible price! We rented the Trail Center for our small ceremony and reception on 10-25-2019. They were very accomidating, and super easy to work with. Plen...
ty of indoor/outdoor plugs, large catering kitchen, climate controled reception room, beautiful ceremony arch, high quality tables and chairs.

*There is no tent available to rent onsite
*You cannot use their coffee maker
It was absolutely beautiful. Even with minimal decorations. We rented the amphitheater. It accommodated our large family perfectly. And downright perfect for family photos
The park was beautiful and the staff was very helpful and friendly. Our ceremony was held outside the Trail Center and the reception was in the Trail Center. It was simple to decor...
ate around the beauty nature had already provided and the Trail Center was open to wedding guests during the whole event. This was a definite perk while my husband and I were taking pictures. If you're looking for a place for a small, intimate ceremony and reception this spot is perfect!
Naturally beautiful place!!!! Would have an event here time and time again, especially for the price. 10 stars!!!! :)
I don't know where to begin! First Landing State Park is a beautiful place to get married in Virginia Beach. It's extremely affordable to rent the gazebo, lawn and amphitheater. I ...
chose to get married in the amphitheater because of the built in seating, beautiful tree line and grand entrance capability. We hired security, so even though it's a state park, we weren't bothered by on-lookers. We used the lawn and gazebo area for the reception and band area. Our event coordinator, Kim, was easy to work with and very helpful. I highly recommend First Landing State Park for any event.
My husband and I had our wedding ceremony on the beach on the bay side of First Landing. They ceremony was beautiful on the bay. The cost was only $25 to have the ceremony that so ...
you can't really ask for much. The guy that we scheduled it with was Kim. He was very nice but clearly not an event coordinator, more of a park ranger. The only major hiccup we had was they had no mention of the parking. We had set it up with Kim that when guests entered they would tally how much we owed and we would pay them at the end. When our family went to make sure they were tallying the cars they had no idea about it. It was quite a mess but got it worked out. After the ceremony about a week later we got an invoice from Kim even though it was paid the day of. My mother-in-law called to try to get it worked out and they were like "oh its fine ignore the invoice." They didn't ask for a name or anything which was weird. We have the receipt for the parking but was a complete hassle. Its worth $25 if you want a very cheap beach wedding. There were also a lot of people standing around, which we expected but might bother some people. It is a public beach.
This park is great for pictures and very affordable.
