Finishing Touch

by their exceptional organization, responsiveness and attention to detail. Sandra's ability to balance a laid-back demeanor with assertive guidance made the planning process a breeze. One of the highlights was Sandra's curated list of vendors. Every single recommendation was a home run, and the vendors' glowing reviews of her spoke volumes about her reputation in the industry. Her contingency planning and unwavering support ensured that we felt calm and confident throughout the entire process. On our wedding day, the Finishing Touch team executed our vision flawlessly. From the seamless flow of the event to their thoughtful gestures, like providing drinks and food at our table, they made us feel truly cared for. Even when a small mishap occurred with my wedding dress, Sandra's sewing skills got me right back to the dance floor before the father/daughter dance. We are eternally grateful to Sandra and her team for their outstanding work. They made our wedding day a magical experience that we will cherish forever.

so much of that to Sandra and her incredible team (Kandis and Nicole). From the moment we met 13 months prior to our wedding, we knew we were in good hands with Sandra. Her warmth, professionalism, easy going personality and exceptional attention to detail immediately put us at ease during what could have been a very stressful time. Sandra took the time to really understand our vision for the day, and she went above and beyond to bring my Pinterest boards to life. From providing a list of wonderful trustworthy vendors (photographers, videographers, florist), to managing the setup, the timeline and schedule for us - we are so grateful to have Finishing Touch for all these aspects to make our wedding flawlessly executed. She guided us through every step of the planning process with patience and grace, always offering valuable advice and solutions to any challenges that arose (especially when our venue coordinator went on medical leave and had a temp. coordinator step in). Planning a destination wedding in North Shore, Oahu from Seattle, Washington was not challenging with Sandra. Our meetings were very thorough and productive. She always ensured we had plenty of time to make decisions and always cautioned us if she found anything troubling. We really respect for honesty and dedication to making sure we come first. On the day of the wedding, Sandra and her team worked tirelessly behind the scenes to ensure that everything ran smoothly (rain or shine!) They handled every detail with precision and professionalism, allowing us to relax and truly enjoy our special day as much as we could. We are so grateful for her expertise, dedication, and genuine care throughout the entire process. If you're looking for a wedding planner who will go above and beyond to make your day unforgettable, look no further than Sandra at Finishing Touch LLC. We cannot recommend her highly enough! Thank you from the bottom of our hearts, Tien & Grant

le nervous planning our wedding remotely on Oahu, but Sandra not only made it happen but blew our expectations out of the water. From the beginning (high level dream state), middle (finalizing vendors and decor), end (logistics leading up to the wedding day), Sandra and her team guided us through the process in a professional and organized fashion. Additionally, her vendor recommendations were all top notch. Multiple guests told us it was the best wedding they had ever been to. Overall, can't recommend Finishing Touch more!!

to finish. One of the most remarkable aspects of our experience was the impeccable organization and coordination. Every element of our wedding, from the food vendor to the floral arrangements, was meticulously planned and flawlessly executed. During the wedding day I didn't even have to think, Sandra and her team had everything outlined and prepared. There was a moment where we sat down at our Sweetheart table to start the main reception and I had a thought, "I need to head to the bar to get myself and wife a drink." Right at the end of that thought I had one of her staff deliver us our plates of dinner along and asked what drinks we wanted. Within what felt like seconds our cocktails magically appeared. I know it's small but at that moment we felt pretty darn spoiled and taken care of. Because Sandra and her team were so attentive it really allowed us to fully immerse ourselves in the joy of our Big Day. Also big shout out to Sandra for helping us resolve a small family situation. We had a service drop off our Chinese Grandma (94 years old) but they dropped her off like 45 mins early at the venue while we were taking pictures elsewhere. Grandma was with a family member who doesn't speak Cantonese so they were both confused on what to do and where to go. Sandra rushed over to them and spoke to Grandma in Cantonese and handled the situation. That's the level of care you'll get from Finishing Touch. Thank you again Sandra and Team for making our day so memorable and smooth!

d with Sandra’s professionalism, expertise and calming presence. Neither of us have any experience with event planning, let alone planning a destination wedding(!!), but Sandra and team made everything easy and FUN. They took our vision for the wedding and made it even better than we could have imagined. They recommended the BEST vendors and helped us coordinate with all of them both prior to the wedding and day of, which was a huge help. Many of my bridesmaids commented on how this was the most organized and relaxed wedding they were a part of and that is all thanks to Sandra! We cannot thank Finishing Touch enough and now that our wedding is over I will genuinely miss our interactions with Sandra and her team. If you are planning a wedding in Hawaii the first thing you should do is hire Finishing Touch!

ifferent weddings of people that we know in Asia. Our Hawaii wedding was a destination wedding for us and we started planning one year out, so we interacted with Sandra over a twelve month period over many emails and Zoom calls. Sandra and Kandis were absolutely fantastic from start to finish. I really don't know what we would've done without Finishing Touch. A couple of things that really stood out: They got my vision completely and tried to work within our budget. I liked that Sandra wasn't pushy with anything. I never felt like she was trying to make me spend more than I wanted. She was extremely responsive (I had heard horror stories of planners in Italy for example not responding to emails for an entire month). She was very thorough in answering all of our questions and always provided alternative options/solutions. She is also very detail oriented so I never had to worry that anything would fall through the cracks. They are process-oriented, which I appreciated. Given our planning process was a year-long, I liked how there was a rough timeline, i.e. there were certain decisions that could be made early on but there were also certain things that had to wait closer to the date. Sandra made sure we hit all those milestones and got all the prep work done in a timely manner. I really appreciated the questionnaires she made us fill out as it really helped nail down a lot of the details, especially things that I hadn't thought about. Their execution on the day of was flawless. I've been to weddings where I've seen the bride stressed out on the day of her wedding. I was determined not to be like that and Sandra and her team made that possible. I didn't have to worry about a single thing and the entire schedule ran smoothly. It was truly stress-free and that was all possible thanks to Finishing Touch. Lastly, the vendors she recommended were all excellent. I was skeptical about a few since we hadn't done a trial with some of them, i.e. we hadn't really heard the band sing live before, but we were blown away by all the vendors. They were all excellent and you could tell that they've worked with Finishing Touch many times before. We received so many compliments on our wedding and you can see from the photos how beautiful it was! Finishing Touch is really worth every penny, especially if you are looking to do a destination wedding. I enjoyed working with Sandra and her team so much and highly highly recommend her to anyone looking for a planner in Hawaii!

. Sandra was fantastic at rehearsal and directed the wedding party accordingly. We also saw Sandra overseeing the tent and chair set up the day of the wedding. It was nice to know she had her eye on everything and we just got to enjoy and soak in the day! We didn't have worry at all the day of the wedding as Sandra and her team had everything under control and taken care of. Prior to all of this, Sandra and the team were very responsive to email throughout the planning process and answered our many questions. Sandra and her team provided great vendor options, a full timeline for multiple events and took care of all of the vendor coordination and set up. While we did put a lot of time and effort into the wedding planning ourselves, it truly wouldn't have been what it was without Finishing Touch. It was really a wonderful feeling to show up at our wedding events and see everything come together perfectly. Our wedding weekend was truly amazing. Everything we envisioned came to life and all the events went seamlessly. We were truly impressed by how everything turned out - Finishing Touch was really able to understand our vision and design ideas and executed them to perfection! Big thanks to Finishing Touch for helping to make our wedding and the whole wedding weekend come to life.

ook like, but it turns out I didn't because Sandra asked me so many questions about the small details I would have forgotten. And on the big day, she was somehow everywhere at the same time. I don't know how she did it, but I didn't have to lift a finger for anything. Our big day was so stress free and we had so much fun. Highly highly recommend if you are looking for a wedding planner and designer!

le. She meticulously understood our budget and priorities, seamlessly connecting us with vendors who brought our vision to life. Sandra's remarkable attention to detail shone as she skillfully managed unforeseen challenges, ensuring a flawless event. One notable instance of Sandra’s exceptional service occurred when we encountered unexpected issues with our wedding details. She proactively resolved these challenges, such as providing spare table numbers on the day of the event. Additionally, Sandra’s swift response to a broken guitar situation among our groomsmen showcased her resourcefulness, ensuring the smooth continuation of our ceremony’s musical arrangements. Sandra's coordination with our vendors allowed us to enjoy our day without concerns. Her professionalism, organizational skills, and calming presence made the entire process stress-free. She served as our trusted advisor, guaranteeing flawless execution of every aspect of our wedding day. Sandra and Kandis from Finishing Touch exceeded all expectations. Sandra's ability to understand our ideas and translate them into a flawless celebration made her the perfect choice. We deeply appreciate her expertise and dedication. For anyone seeking a wedding planner who truly understands their vision, Sandra is unparalleled. Thank you, Sandra and Finishing Touch, for creating a celebration beyond our dreams.

cess seamless. Sandra’s attention to detail, prompt communication, and great design style are just a few of her best attributes! The rest of the team is just as amazing. Kandis and Lei assisted me throughout the entire planning process—reaching out to vendors, organizing invoices, and keeping track of deadlines. Nicole was my day-of coordinator, and she was so sweet and helpful! Sandra and her team truly have that “finishing touch” that sets them apart.

r dream destination wedding into a reality. Her ability to elegantly bring together the visions of other couples caught my attention, and I was certain she could work wonders for us. Choosing a wedding planner that you have never met and entrusting in that person to bring your ideas to light is such a huge commitment. But I am so happy that I found her and trusted my gut! My husband and I from California so we opted for Sandra's full year wedding planning services, and it was the best decision we could have made. It was the best investment. Sandra was not only professional but also incredibly friendly throughout the entire process. She went above and beyond by arranging in-person meetings when we were in town for vacation, allowing us to discuss every detail face-to-face. Additionally, she coordinated food tastings during our visits, making the experience even more delightful. Sandra's level of organization and ease of collaboration were truly commendable. Her attention to detail ensured that every aspect of our wedding was meticulously planned and flawlessly executed. On the day of our wedding, I was amazed at how stress-free and relaxed I felt. It was evident that Sandra and her team had everything under control, allowing my husband and I to truly enjoy our special day. Not only did Sandra exceed our expectations in terms of organization and execution, but she also demonstrated a genuine passion for her work. We are so grateful for making our wedding night so memorable! All my family kept saying how we had an amazing planner and I couldn't agree more!

wedding day. I can honestly say It was literally the best day of my life. Every single detail was exactly what I envisioned my day would be and it was all thanks to the Finishing Touch team. I knew I wanted Sandra and her team to be my wedding planner when I stumbled upon her page while strolling through Instagram photos of weddings in Hawaii. After our initial consult, I could already feel the warmth of Sandra’s personality through zoom and I was so confident with the decision that I found the perfect wedding planner. I am proud to say I was never one of those bride’s that had any type of stress during the entire wedding planning process. Sandra was always a email/text away with any concerns or last minute changes that I requested. She will cater to your vision according to your budget as well so that is not something you have to worry about. I know wedding planners are not cheap but I can reassure you that it is worth every penny, especially with the Finishing Touch Team. My advice is to get a wedding planner and you can always budget on other things with your wedding. She is very detailed and clear on every deadline and information that she needs from you to have the perfect set up. I received so many compliments from all my guests and family on how much they enjoyed my wedding and even the smallest details really impressed the guests. I really am thankful that I got to have Finishing Touch as part of our day and I am forever grateful for them. I would recommend them 10000% if you want to have the wedding of your dreams!

ganized and made the whole process a lot less daunting with her guidance. Planning a wedding for 120+ people from afar in NYC during COVID-19, Sandra kept us calm knowing we were in the best of hands. She has so much experience and provides helpful personal perspectives when asked. Book her!!!

ability to vetting vendors and contracts, she took charge and made the process seamless. My vision for my wedding was no where near as beautiful as it actually turned out. It was stunning to see the transformation of the outdoor venue to such a magical place. Sandra and her team worked tirelessly that day to make sure every detail was covered. From start to finish, I didn’t have to worry about anything. I highly recommend Sandra and her team if you are planning a wedding in the future. She is full service, puts you at ease from the first meeting and definitely will make your wedding planning life stress free.

eved some recommendations from a resort on Oahu. It was in the height of covid, but only 2 out of the 10 people I called returned my call. One of the two was Sandra of Finishing Touch. Based on a brief phone call, we decided to take a risk and hire Sandra. Sandra and her team exceeded our expectations! Neither my daughter nor myself have Pinterest or had any dream wedding ideas. Because of our lack of input, we made Sandra's job so much harder, although she never complained. We were not able to visit the site, taste the food, meet the hair and makeup person, photographer, hear the band in person, etc. We had to trust Sandra's advice. We were blown away by every choice she made. The hair and makeup girl (Mai Tokioka) made us all the very best versions of ourselves. We had the most relaxing day getting ready because of her! Sandra had everything and everyone perfectly timed. Everyone reached out to us; we didn't have to worry about anything. The photographer and videographers made everyone feel comfortable. The venue was perfectly beautiful. The flowers were the most beautiful flowers we had ever seen. The food was divine. The staff was so professional and attentive and the band was AMAZING! Everyone who attended said it was the best wedding they had ever been to! We could not have been happier! Sandra is professional, detail oriented, very knowledgeable, and a calm and calming person. She knows Hawaiian venues and the vendors. We had a few things happen that we were concerned about (truly acts of God) and Sandra calmed us down and had the perfect solution. We cannot recommend Sandra and Lei of Finishing Touch more highly!

ere wasn’t any that really caught our attention or felt was the best fit for us. We kept searching online and found Finishing Touch’s website and was captivated by the style, elegance, and simplicity of their site (people always say first impressions matter). We knew then and there that this would be the perfect fit for us. Once we inquired about their services, Sandra was very informative and welcoming. Her positive attitude, professionalism, creativity, and organizational skills made this entire process so easy and smooth. Having a destination wedding definitely has its challenges, but Sandra and Lei kept us updated through zoom meetings and emails. They recommended amazing vendors and made sure everything fit into our budget. After our wedding, our guests could not stop raving about how beautiful our wedding was and how everything ran so smoothly. Honestly, I felt sad saying bye to Sandra and Lei at the end of the night because they were with us throughout the entire planning process and played a huge part in one of the most important celebrations of our lives. It was definitely bittersweet. Finishing Touch helped put our visions to life, and we could not have done this without their help and guidance. Sandra and Lei are an incredible team, and we could not have been more pleased. There aren’t enough words to express our gratitude! Trusting Sandra and Lei to design and coordinate our most memorable day was the best decision made!

lk to / work with, which made the whole planning process a breeze. We had begun our planning Dec 2019 for a March 2021 wedding, but as we all know covid hit. Although we didn't get our big celebration in 2021, she still offered some help for our mini backyard wedding by keeping me in communication with some of the vendors that I still wanted to use for our mini celebration. Also I just want to add in what a challenge it must've been for them to plan all these weddings during covid due to all the rollercoaster of changes in regulations that needed to be followed. But they continued to keep us in high spirits and were so organized in keeping us updated and moving our wedding date with the vendors. I didn't even have to do anything, but tell her which new date I wanted to postpone to! And in 2022 that's when we had our dream (second) wedding at Lanikuhonua. There was no way I could have pull off everything they did for a venue that provides nothing, but a big open space with a breathtaking sunset. The amount of details and logistics they had to provide seemed so effortless. Sandra basically asks you what you want for your wedding and makes it 10x better than you could have expected. For example, I didn't even think about how the table setting would be or even look like, she just gathered a dinner menu, our favors, and a name place card from me and she added in a little sprig and had the napkins folded a certain way, she even ordered gold utensils! They truly add in their own little finishing touches and it truly makes all the difference. One thing that impressed me the most was the behind the scenes action. So we had an open bar and bought all our beverages from Costco and my husband and I thought we knew our guests drink preferences well, but clearly not! Of course they all went for the hard liquor, which we were almost out of before the reception even begun! But here comes Sandra behind the scenes sending one of her team members to make an alcohol run for us so that we wouldn't run out. I was so impressed. And I only found out because my mom told me later about it. Crazy right?! And we all know how important alcohol can be at a wedding, lol. There really isn't anything bad I can say about Finishing Touch. They are a bit on the pricier side, but in all honesty SO worth it. The amount of planning, designing, and coordination they put into weddings is phenomenal and I would not have had it any other way. On that note, if you want the wedding of your dreams, save yourself some time and hire Sandra and her team! We truly appreciate and are so lucky to have had her. Thank you!

ost savings and were going to try to do most of the planning ourselves, but our venue required a day of coordinator. Finishing Touch was highly recommended by a friend of the family and so we reached out. They were very professional, fair and honest laying out all of our options. After consulting with them, we decided to do the full wedding planning service and when all was said and done, were so thankful for that decision. They helped us through postponing our wedding and were always so hopeful and professional while we navigated through our emotions. Within three days of meeting with them to discuss our postponement they had taken care of everything and we had a new wedding date! I cannot say enough amazing things about these two ladies. They truly were a blessing to work with and I would recommend them times 1000 to anyone planning a wedding in Hawaii. Professional, organized, genuine, kind hearted, simply a dream! THANK YOU- Lei and Sandra

e job done and the problems dealt with, all without interfering with the bridal party. One thing that stuck out most to me was when the father of the groom requested seat and table changes to accommodate guests. This was a very formal wedding, so even the tiniest mishandling could make a world of problems. Also, how do you rearrange seating while people are already in their seats? I got stressed out as a third party person! Needless to say, she snapped her fingers, and everyone was none the wiser. Fast forward to my wedding, I knew I wanted her, but I didn't know if my laidback super casual wedding could warrant her expertise; it felt beneath her almost! I reached out to her a month prior to the big day, thinking I needed only a day of coordinator. After reviewing what I had planned so far (I had secured only the venue, videographer, photographer, and caterer), she let me down gently, stating that I need something more of a wedding planner. I couldn't imagine how much work it would be to decorate a place to my standards, thinking I'd be ok with anything, so it took me a minute to consider taking her on. It was seriously the best decision my hubs and I ever made. The thirty days leading up to our day consisted of her emailing me invoices and me responding with credit card info and signatures. I did this all at work, so it was no sweat off my back. I gave her full rein and she did a great job helping me stay within my budget. Day of, I had three venues for the day from 1pm-1am, and Sandra was there for much longer than I expected and she kept me right on schedule. At one point, there was a dress fiasco, and the zipper on my skirt busted open. One of her team members ran off and came back with a sewing kit. Sandra and her team are always prepared and they have everything under control to a T. This is definitely confirmed in the other reviews. Overall, I cannot relate to the bad reviews here. If I had to say something bad, it would be that I wish she could've just forged my signatures and filled in all my credit card info for me. I honestly could've given her a checkbook that was presigned and dated, but I am thirsty for miles and points. That is how much (or little) I would have wanted to be involved in the planning process. Obviously, that is unrealistic and likely illegal, so all you brides and grooms out there find a solution for this if you're at all anything like me. I cannot recommend Finishing Touch enough. She definitely seemed pricey at the start, but the amount of money and time she will save you with her expertise and knowledge of the industry surpasses her fees. Every invoice she gave me was half or lower than the amount I expected for all these vendors. Also, she will ask all the questions you are too afraid to ask before you think to ask them. To end, most brides book their wedding planners a year out. I hired her a month out. Logically, I would have had to pay her more than the person who booked her a year out because she had to work 12x as fast and as hard. Don't be dumb like me and think you can do everything yourself. Be smarter than me and hire this team so they can elevate your standards while saving you money. Win win win win win.

many options to choose from. Sandra is so organized and reliable we always had total peace of mind everything would be taken care of.

easy to find exactly what I wanted. Sandra and her awesome assistant Mal made the day of the wedding completely worry-free, which my parents also really appreciated. I'd highly recommend Finishing Touch to any Hawaii bride who wants a fabulous wedding!

email correspondent through out. That kind of kept me on schedule and pointed me to the right direction of how planning should go down. When the day finally came, I felt so blessed to have a professional there to take care of things. I was really able to relax and enjoy "the day" and not have anyone come and ask you what's next or something or someone is not here. I would definitely recommend Finishing Touch and bride to be to get a wedding coordinator!

no one told my mom about it while she was in her room. But other than that I think our wedding planner was worth the $$.

er! She is very knowledgeable in her field, and made things so easy for us! We gave her our budget, told her the important aspects, and she planned accordingly. Her recommendations were spot on, and the wedding ran smoothly and turned out beautifully!

instorming themes or ideas, but I also had a firm idea of what I wanted.
