I went with my future daughter-in-law in December of 2022 to shop for her wedding gown. She ordered her dress and paid for it in full.
We were assured that she could contact Julia ...
at any time to find out the status of her order. She waited until May of 2023 to check on the dress and Julia did not respond to her emails, texts or phone calls.
Finally after not hearing anything back from her, I contacted the designer in July in London to see if the dress had ever been ordered. They said it was ready for shipping at the warehouse but were waiting on the balance due from Fifth Avenue Bridal.
After hearing this, we reached out to see why the dress wasn’t being shipped to us and Julia used all kinds of fake excuses and even pretended to work for the London designer with a fake name to keep from paying the balance due.
We kept in contact with the designer in London and they were very kind and considerate and were a great helping in getting her to pay the balance due and finally shipped.
After going through four months of worrying if she would ever receive her dress that was paid in full, my daughter-in-law finally received her dress today with no thanks to Fifth Avenue Bridal.
Julia is INCREDIBLE! My entire experience at Fifth Avenue Bridal was everything I hoped for and so much more. Julia is extremely sweet and thorough and takes her time to talk you t...
hrough your options and answer any questions you might have. At no point during my appointment did I feel rushed or disregarded (which is unfortunately something I have experienced at other shops). Another amazing thing about Fifth Avenue Bridal is the inclusive sizing of their sample gowns! If you're a bigger girl like me, you probably know what it's like to have a bad bridal experience due to nothing fitting. I'm a size 12/14 and normally can't even zip up the tiny samples in most shops, but Julia had no issue pulling beautiful dresses in my size. I ended up falling in love with my dream dress and can't wait to work with Julia throughout the whole process! It was overall a truly amazing and memorable experience and I would recommend Fifth Avenue Bridal to everyone!
One word describes Julia and her bridal shop: AMAZING!! I honestly could not have asked for a better dress shopping experience. I made the appointment about 6 weeks ahead, for Just...
me and my girlfriend to come in and look at dresses. I'm getting married in Fiji next year!! Just me and my future husband :) so I wasn't looking to spend a ton of money on a dress for obvious reasons. I had 2 other bridal dress appointments booked at other area shops the following weekend. Due to Fifth Avenue's unique nature and it's location, I honestly thought this shop would be too pricey and I wasn't sure she would have anything I liked that was in the size I wear and within my ideal budget. But, boy was I wrong!! This place is AMAZING! It's like a mini Kleinfeld's!! And Julia is just remarkable. She has such a great eye for what dress looks best on your body shape, and she has dresses in all sizes with plenty of unique styles to choose from. She gave me 100% of her attention and made my friend feel included in the whole process. We both just absolutely loved her!! After trying on about 4-5 dresses, Julia brought in this amazing dress and I instantly fell in love. And the total price was close to $1000 under my budget!! I was floored. Needless to say, I canceled all other dress appointments! I'll update this review with pictures after my wedding! :) If you're looking to buy a wedding dress and want a personalized, one of kind dress experience with an amazing dress shop owner & stylist, look no further than Fifth Avenue by Julia! I would recommend her 1000 times over.

I have nothing but good things to say about Julia. She will make you feel so special for your big day. I cannot thank her enough!

She made all my fittings feel so comfortable, even if I was unsure about something Julia was always so patient, understanding, and always gave me options if I couldn't think of one. nother boutique wasn't the best experience. Julia made us feel so welcome right away! She listened to what I was looking for and made sure to stay within my budget! She has so many beautiful dresses and I tried on so many, but nothing was quite giving me that feeling. She never gave up and the very last dress she pulled was one of her choosing that I wasn't really sure about. The moment I put that dress on I just didn't want to take it off! It's like she just knew this dress was meant for me! She genuinely cares about all her brides and goes above and beyond to find their dream dress! With the amazing help of her seamstress Ciara my dress fit perfectly and my September wedding was amazing! If you are looking for a fun, intimate, and relaxing day of dress shopping Fifth Avenue is the place to go!

I had the pleasure of visiting Fifth Avenue Bridal with my sister, who was looking for the perfect dress for her wedding. Julia owns FAB and obviously loves what she does. She comp...
letely personalized the entire experience, took the time to understand what my sister was looking for and her likes/dislikes. The entire experience was very relaxed and professional. Julia described each of the designers she carries and was sure to explain (and demonstrate) where customizations could be made by the designer to perfect any dress. Julia was kind and considerate and truly cared about my sister finding the right dress. And she did! She ended up with the PERFECT dress for her and couldn't have been more in love with it. FAB has a broad variety of beautiful dresses and we were very impressed with both Julia and her lovely shop. I would absolutely recommend FAB to anyone who is looking for a perfect, upscale experience.

ived an order of Dando London gowns (which I knew nothing about at the time) but she insisted we go check it out. Julia was so sweet and helpful, and I tried on a number of gowns but fell in LOVE with Dando Irresistible from the moment I put it on. I felt like such a gorgeous bride and KNEW my now-husband would drop his jaw when I turned down the aisle. I ended up visiting a few other local bridal shops but nothing made me feel that same “this is it” feeling, so we of course returned to Julia’s shop and I said “yes” to the dress!
We worked together with Dando as well as Julia’s seamstress, Ciara (who is also amazing, btw), to customize my dress by adding sleeves I had been dreaming about. Julia and Ciara worked with my vision to help create a truly unique dress to me that no other bride has worn. I received so many compliments specifically about my dress during and after my wedding.
From the moment I said “yes”, through the measurements, ordering, customizing, and fittings, Julia was so easy to contact and constantly kept me updated on the status. She even threw in my gorgeous veil and hair piece as freebees for being her first ever Dando bride. I felt so special and part of the family and I’m so happy that her shop is doing well and getting the recognition it deserves. If you are in the market for a gorgeous, unique wedding gown, do NOT skip out on this shop!

ed out to Julia Barney, owner of FAB who dropped everything and met me at her store even though it was going through a remodel. Her service is above and beyond, our first appointment was brainstorming my dream dress and how to make the dress I bought for $300, my dream gown within my budget. Other bridal shops I visited would not even speak to me further if my budget were not over $1000 or $1500; Julia never flinched when I said my budget was under $500. FAB has their own seamstress on hand at all times, the seamstress was able to work with me to create a detachable tulle overlay which covered the whole bottom of my dress. This made my dress traditional white for my ceremony and I was able to remove it for my entrance to my reception which made my dress pink. It was my dream gown and it all came below my budget. FAB went one step further and offered delivery of my gown day of, steamed and wrinkle free. Needless to say, I would recommend working with Fifth Avenue Bridal on any of your formal gown needs, you cannot get any better customer service or pricing anywhere else.
Thank you Fifth Avenue Bridal and Julia Barney for making my dream wedding a reality!
